“Sarah is great. I highly recommend her. I booked with her because I had an emergency in another state and last minute had to fly there and drive back. Sarah was very accommodating and did very well with my senior pup. I am extremely satisfied with her.”

“Noor is the best communicator I have ever encountered! She loved my fur baby like she was her own and went above and beyond each day. 100% will be requesting her again when available.”

“Katie did a great job checking in on our cat. She gave him plenty of love, playtime, and treats to help him get through his week away from us. She sent great report cards each day with lots of pictures!”

“Natascha was absolutely amazing with my little spaz ball. She sent great pictures, took him on walks, and had play time. Oatmeal loves her, and I can tell by how happy he is when I come home. I would definitely hire again for any pet sitting needs, and you should too!”

“Abigail did a fantastic job watching checking in on our two cats for us while we were away! She was very responsive, sent lots of pictures and most importantly the cats loved her (and usually one of them is too shy to even make an appearance!).”
About: I worked for a thriving doggie daycare in Idaho for about a year. I learned a lot, especially about different dog behaviors. I also grew up with dogs. I see them as part of the family! My husband and I have a dog. His name is Charlie from the movie All Dogs Go To Heaven. He is our baby, and that means our life has him in it 100% of the time. We always take at least one walk a day. Charlie has access to the yard anytime, as well as good treats and toys. Your dog would have the same treatment as Charlie, of course! My husband is active military and I have a job. Charlie and your dog would not be left alone for more than 8 hours on weekdays. Our home is a welcoming and safe place for dogs. We have a large backyard, all fenced. Trees that bring squirrels that our dog loves to watch and chase. We get our treats and bones from the local Pet Pantry which we share. Dogs are welcome on the furniture. Our dog is very playful. I know your dog will be tired from their stay. If you welcome me into your home. I will be curious about your space and hangout, walk, feed, and play with your dog(s). Clean up after myself.
“Came in clutch when we left during the holidays for sure! She was totally great and understanding with everything we asked her to do. Will definitely recommend and use her service again!!”

“Cherise took such great cat of my two kitties. She sent great updates with photos with every visit, giving them lots of love and attention they needed while I was away in addition to the regular feeding etc. Would definitely have cherise look after the cats in the future. Thank you!”

About: Hi! I’m Amber 😊🐾 I’ve been caring for animals for over 16 years, with experience in vet assisting, grooming, and pet sitting. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet like they’re my own 💛 I’m patient, gentle, and especially great with nervous or shy pets. My goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! 🐕🐈✨ This is my full time job and I only take on one overnight client at a time entirely dedicated to their pet care needs so all of the focus is on them. I have two sweet spoiled babies who love adventures and going on walks and adventures. Their bellies are always full with treats and yummy things to eat!
“Devin is amazing. It’s the second time she’s taken care of my cat. She sends detailed updates and pictures that make it easier to be away. She goes out of her way to learn what my cat likes and how she likes to play. You couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter!”

“Amber kept in touch with me all day and sent me picture updates! My dogs loved her. I would definitely recommend this service and Amber to anyone and everyone! -Jenny”
“Fantastic and went above and beyond for our pets. When we go on future trips we will definitely be reaching out again! Thank you so much for the attention and care you provided to our furry friends.”

“Dixie was great! She offered to do a meet and greet prior to coming over. When she did, she sent the cutest pictures. She is very communicative and I’ll be using her again. Thank you!!”

About: My experience with animals has been all my life and 3 years ago I did Rover with my mom. She taught me to not just watch animals but to create a calm, safe, and engaging environment for them. I’m also very communicative I make sure owners feel connected and reassured with regular updates, photos, and honest check-ins. I take that trust seriously and aim to make both pets and owners feel at ease I work from home so I’m able to be with them all day and my house is located by trails and parks for a short or long walk I have a fenced in backyard and 3 levels with gate on each level. Plenty of space but also gates to block off a level if pets need their own space
“Amanda was so great! She came twice during the day and sent pictures of our puppy! She was flexible with the times, and we appreciate her. We will definitely be getting back in touch with her for next time!”

About: I have grown up my whole life taking care of pets. Whether that’s dogs, cats, birds, or guinea pigs. I love all types of animals! I currently work part-time taking care of animals. It makes me happy and also fills my day with joy. I do not watch animals in my own house and mostly do drop ins. I have a fenced in yard, if a pet must come to my house. I prefer to watch pets at their own homes as it provides less stress to my own animals and your animal.
“Tabbi is extremely attentive to the creatures under her care, and is very communicative with their people. I can wholeheartedly recommend her, and will use her again in the future.”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced pet caregiver with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. For 6 years, I managed a professional dog boarding facility, where I gained extensive experience with everything from daily care and enrichment to handling different temperaments and special needs. I’ve also worked in a veterinary clinic, giving me additional knowledge and comfort when it comes to recognizing health concerns and providing attentive care. I now work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to offer plenty of time, attention, and availability for your pets’ needs. Whether your pup needs walks, companionship, medication support, extra patience, or simply someone who understands them, I’m happy to help. My own 12-year-old rescue pup recently crossed the rainbow bridge. He was a reactive dog, and he taught me the importance of meeting dogs where they are, building trust, and creating a safe environment for every personality type. I have a genuine appreciation for dogs who need a little extra understanding and am comfortable working with pets who may be shy, anxious, reactive, or have other special needs. I do have a friendly cat and a younger child in my home, so for dogs who are reactive and unable to comfortably be around them, I kindly ask that services take place in your home where your pet can feel safest and most relaxed. I look forward to getting to know you and your pets and providing the same care, patience, and love I would want for my own. My flexible work-from-home schedule allows me to tailor my care around your pet’s individual needs. Whether your dog thrives on frequent walks, needs extra potty breaks, requires medication reminders, benefits from a slower pace, or simply needs more one-on-one attention, I have the availability to provide consistent and reliable care. Because I work from home, I’m able to be present throughout the day rather than fitting pets into a busy schedule. I understand that every pet has their own routine, comfort level, and personality, and I’m happy to adjust my approach to help them feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. From energetic pups who need enrichment and activity to senior pets who need patience and a little extra support, my schedule gives me the flexibility to provide the kind of personalized attention each pet deserves. My approach to caring for animals is centered around patience, trust, and treating every pet as an individual. I believe animals communicate in their own ways, and it’s important to take the time to understand their personality, comfort level, and needs rather than expecting every pet to fit the same mold. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and positive environment where pets feel respected and cared for. Whether that means a long walk, extra playtime, quiet companionship, a slower introduction, or simply sticking to their familiar routine, I adjust my care to what makes each animal happiest and most comfortable. My experience has taught me that the best caregivers are observant, patient, and willing to meet pets where they are. I take pride in building trust with animals and providing the same level of care, attention, and compassion that I would want someone to give my own pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Fountain with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
