“Talon was amazing. We had another pup sitter schedule but they backed out a week before our vacation. Talon stepped in and was perfect, sent us photos and updates daily, and kept our house safe and locked up just like we asked. Definitely going to reach out again the next time we need. Thank you Talon!”

“Mario is great! Our dogs are pretty aloof and one stuck by his side during his lunch time drop in. He communicated well, and we would use him again!”

“Amber was wonderful and took such great care of our dogs while we traveled out of state. She took extra time and care to make sure they were able to get outside for walks and have plenty of playtime, and even very kindly helped clean up an unfortunate accident. We couldn’t be more appreciative of the care she gave our boys while we were away. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend Amber!”

“Bre was very personable and interacted with all our animals very well. We have some nervous animals, and she respected their space and let them approach her or ignore her as they wanted to, while providing great care. By the end of the time of our reserved Drop-In visits they were sitting in the same area without our animals dashing off and they would meet her at the door eager for their time together. She was also open to learning and caring for our chickens. She did well to judge when it would be best to keep them in the coop, out of the cold and when to let them out for the day. If she had any questions, she did very well to ask, clarify instructions and follow through with them. Bre was also able to do some extra property care, opening and closing of gates, getting mail, and bringing in packages as needed. She felt confident suggesting procedures that we hadn't considered to better conduct her services and delivered them constructively. We are very pleased with Bre and hope to use her services in the future. We are also impressed with the Rover app, and how they protect their customers and their service providers.”

“Dora took good care of my cats while I was away! She played with them and gave them treats in addition to feeding and scooping litters. She also went above and beyond by watering my plants!”

“Brianne went way above and beyond with our kitties while we were away for the first overnight trip since we had gotten the kittens. She played, fed, cleaned up after them, and was always interacting with the kitties and sending pictures and video! I appreciated the continual contact, and knowing that our cats were being spoiled and well taken care of! We returned, and they were not frantically seeking attention, or worried or anxious. She took great care of them and helped keep them (and me!) at ease!”

“Cara was great with my 2 cats. She checked in daily, left good daily reports and photos. When I returned the cats were happy and well taken care of.”

About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet sitting! I have taken care of many adult dogs and cats. I have not officially called myself a pet sitter until now that I am on this website. I recently dog-sat for a dog who acted aggressively toward other dogs on our walks. I adjusted our walks to accommodate this issue. I am not intimidated by insects, as I have kept antlion larvae as pets and released them when they reached maturity. I work hard to meet the owner's expectations, and I especially love dogs! I am a physically active person. I work as a teacher during a typical work week, but I can spend nights dog-sitting on these nights too. My weekends are more flexible according to what you may need. I can take care of pets at your home as well as overnights, and I can take them for walks. I can make schedule adjustments based on your needs or your pets needs.
“Angela was consistent with her punctuality and communication. She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was comfortable when I was out of town. Angela was great with routines and ensured my pet was well taken care of.”

“Sydney is amazing with our pups! Makes sure that both of their needs are met and gives them lots of love. They pics she sends are great, both dogs look super happy that she’s there!”

“Thank you for always being willing to go out of your way to meet my pets first and go over instructions in person! It helps reassure me my babies are in good hands!”

“Emily was great and flexible being able to watch our pups last minute! She left detailed report cards and made it easy for us to enjoy our getaway! Would absolutely book again.”

About: Hi :) I'm a rising senior at Colorado College and ever since I could talk, I’ve loved dogs - possibly more than people sometimes. My family has always had dogs ranging from puppyhood to senior life, and I‘ve been the main caretaker and friend to all of them. My dogs were a purebred German Shepherd named Millie & a Rhodesian Ridgeback-Shepherd mix named Harold, so I am very comfortable with medium to large sized dogs (but the little ones are just as welcome!). Since high school, I've pet sat for dogs ranging from Huskies to Pitties to Chihuahuas (and a few cats in between). I play rugby and love to hike/run in my free time, so I am more than able to meet the needs of an especially energetic dog -- However I am also always down for a leisurely walk with a senior dog that just wants to chill in the park for a while :) I just fully joined this app (after initially setting up an account in middle school haha) and am primarily here to get to spend time with some lovely animals and help them have fun. Dogs are truly a gift to the world and it's my honor any time I get the chance to be around them! I'm on here less for the money and more for the chance to spend time with some great animals so I'm happy to work with you on scheduling :) Before walking/sitting for you I'd love to set up a quick meet up where your pet can get to know me and I can make sure we are on the same page about what your animals need from me!
“Mara is great. She loves our doggos and goes the extra mile for them. She communicates very well. We would have her watch them every time if she’s available!”

“Shabazz was absolutely wonderful taking care of our cat while we were away! He was extremely reliable, followed all feeding and care instructions, and sent the cutest photo updates and detailed notes during every visit. Shabazz went above and beyond and i could tell my kitty was a happy kitty. I definitely recommend him and will book again!”

“Zeah was amazing!! I have 2 kitties one of them is pretty shy but after a few days she warmed up to zeah which is rare to see from her! She scooped our litter box, took are the trash at the end of our booking and sweeped up all the messes my kitties made. highly recommend !!”

About: I’ve been dog walking since I was 8. I’ve taken care of puppies and small, medium, and large dogs of all breeds. You can trust me to make sure your pet has a fun time walking, running, and/or playing. I have a job with flexible hours. I also love taking my parents' dog for a walk, run, or hike. I am familiar with many of the parks and trails in the city. I love giving dogs the opportunity to get some fresh air by exploring the outdoors and burning off some energy. I have helped train dogs and have experience around rescued animals with high anxiety. If you think we are a good fit, I'd like to set up a meet and greet so your pup has time and space to get comfortable with me. I am not currently available for dog sitting services but I have many years of experience caring for dogs and cats in their own home.
“Brandi did a great job caring for my kitties and the chickens. Brandi took on the job of caring for my chickens despite having no prior experience with them. Photo updates were always provided and she even went above and beyond to grab our mail from the mail box when we asked her to. Brandi is also very reasonable on her pricing. She is friendly and loved on my babies when she first met them! Thank you for your help!”

“I've scheduled with Juliana twice now, and she has truly done a phenomenal job in taking very good care of my senior black lab. She was very thorough in her Meet & Greet ... very communicative on behalf of each visit ... and very considerate in caring for my pet. She obviously loves animals, and it shows in each and every one of her visits!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Colorado Springs
I had to share my appreciation for Christian’s exceptional service. Booking with him has been completely stress free, and my German Shepard absolutely loves him. Christian’s communication is top-notch, so I never have to worry about how things are going at home while I’m away. I initially had hesitations about finding the right fit for my dog, but Christian has proven to a genuine, caring, and lighthearted person. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pup the way I trust him!

Very accommodating to my dogs needs and was able to do a meet and greet before our first booking to make sure the dog was comfortable. She took notes during the meet and greet on specifics for my dog and seems genuinely caring and kind. Looking forward to working with her again!

Miranda was great! She came to let our dog out and play with him; he loved her! She even came super early in the morning before having to be at work. It's obvious that she loves animals and spending time with them. Loved her updates. We look forward to having her back soon!

Amber was wonderful and took such great care of our dogs while we traveled out of state. She took extra time and care to make sure they were able to get outside for walks and have plenty of playtime, and even very kindly helped clean up an unfortunate accident. We couldn’t be more appreciative of the care she gave our boys while we were away. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend Amber!

Talon was amazing. We had another pup sitter schedule but they backed out a week before our vacation. Talon stepped in and was perfect, sent us photos and updates daily, and kept our house safe and locked up just like we asked. Definitely going to reach out again the next time we need. Thank you Talon!

Brianne was absolutely wonderful! She took the time to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure she understood our routine and our puppy’s needs. Our 6-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog is full of energy, so it gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such capable hands. We hope to book Brianne again soon

Brianna gave the best care to my sweet Dale while I work overnights! I loved the pictures and updates of her visit. She offered great insight to adjusting to overnight shift work with a puppy! It’s very clear she has vast animal care experience. Thank you for caring for my boy, would happily book again 🤗

Katheryn is literally the best. She is sooooo good with my dogs (3) and you can tell genuinely cares about the pets she sits for. She is communicative, organized and dependable. Literally the best dog sitter in all of Colorado. I absolutely recommend her to anyone is the Colorado Springs area. THE BEST!!!

This is the first time we've left our dog at home when taking a trip so I was concerned Sadie wouldn't react well. Ann is amazing. Sadie seemed to love her and enjoy her walks. Received a picture every day. Came home to a happy dog. Would definitely use Ann again. Couldn't ask for a better experience for Sadie and myself.
Maria was amazing with our 3 dogs! Our regular sitters they have grown accustomed to over the years were not available and while our dogs are friendly, they have their specific quirks and needs. Maria adapted to them with ease and provided everything they needed while we were gone. It was a great relief to have someone we could trust and rely on providing such attentive care! Not only this, but she also picked up their poop from the yard every day and threw it out, left the house tidy, and collected the mound of packages we accrued over the week we were gone. Thank you so much, Maria!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
