I have lived with dogs my entire life. It is easy to love dogs, but it is difficult to be patient and understand every dog's needs. Some are more energetic than others, so they need more exercise, some are shyer and need more emotional support, so I first study them and adapt to what they need and anticipate any behavior. I like to introduce myself to dogs by staying still and allowing them to sniff around because that's how they know/feel whether I'm a threat to them or not. Dogs feed off of energies, so I want to stay calm as much as possible, especially in a challenging situation. I avoid pulling the dogs and exercise is key to a calm easy-going happy walk. I want everything to be clear and easy for you. I reserve Meet & Greets for clients who are close to making a final booking decision, kind of like a first date when you already know you like each other! Safety, trust & environment
I first try to make your dog feel comfortable with me. Going on walks or play time usually makes them get comfortable with a stranger faster, but others take longer. In that case, I sit next to them, do the things they like, etc., but I let them get close to me on their own time. I’ll follow their daily schedule and meals provided and make sure, at least once a day, to exercise them with walks or running around the backyards to avoid being too stationary.

Maria was absolutely phenomenal! She was a life-saver and helped us out last minute, and took the best care of both our pup and our home. We received regular photos, videos, and updates, and even came home to a printed report card and photos. Maria was absolutely wonderful and we will definitely be rebooking!
Maria came recommended from a friend, and was a lifesaver as she was able to accept a very last minute booking request! She was very communicative and thorough, and we came home to a very happy dog and a clean house. Will book again!

Once again, Maria absolutely knocked it out of the park. Our 5 animals were so relaxed during the entire stay as Maria actively shared pictures and videos of everyone. She additionally provided detailed written updates to keep us informed of how everyone was doing, including the medicines that one of the dogs and the cats needed daily. We so greatly appreciated these updates and the best part is that we didn't have to ask for them. Just like the last time we had Maria house-sit, this time also she was extremely respectful of our property - the house was in much BETTER shape than how we left it and with our nearly 13 hour return travel day, it was such a good feeling knowing everything was clean, organized, washed and put away so we could just relax when we got home. Maria additionally provided the most creative, fun and detailed report cards for all 5 of our furry family members. These were so creative and fun to read and everyone got 5 stars!!! (even the corgi) :D Thank you so much to Maria for being so good with our precious fur family and our home. We hope to continue using your services in the future!
