“Bre was very personable and interacted with all our animals very well. We have some nervous animals, and she respected their space and let them approach her or ignore her as they wanted to, while providing great care. By the end of the time of our reserved Drop-In visits they were sitting in the same area without our animals dashing off and they would meet her at the door eager for their time together. She was also open to learning and caring for our chickens. She did well to judge when it would be best to keep them in the coop, out of the cold and when to let them out for the day. If she had any questions, she did very well to ask, clarify instructions and follow through with them. Bre was also able to do some extra property care, opening and closing of gates, getting mail, and bringing in packages as needed. She felt confident suggesting procedures that we hadn't considered to better conduct her services and delivered them constructively. We are very pleased with Bre and hope to use her services in the future. We are also impressed with the Rover app, and how they protect their customers and their service providers.”

“I dropped my pup Monkey off for a few hours with Sarah while my partner and I went to the hot springs. Sarah had a few other dogs in the house and she let us come in and meet the pack/ watch Monkey meet them all. One of the dogs wasn't thrilled about the new member so we decided it was best to keep the pack split. About: We nicknamed our home The Dachs Inn - a weenie wonderland! We’ve cared for Dachshunds for 15 years and specialize in meeting the unique needs of this breed, including dog ramps on our furniture and deck. Our home features a dog door with all-day access to a giant backyard for potty breaks, play time, sunbathing and squirrels!!! Plush dog beds are placed through the home and a giant sectional provides the perfect spot for cuddle time. Daily walks are provided, we even have a dog stroller for senior dogs or those dachshunds suffering from IVDD. I work remotely from home full time and, along with my retired husband, provide hourly drop-in care, play dates, overnight and extended boarding in our home. Additionally, I provide home visits and walking services to families located on the west side of Colorado Springs. Other locations throughout Colorado are considered on case-by-case request for extended care in your home (5 or more days). I have three dachshunds, ages 15, 10, and under 1 year. My dog-friendly home has a fenced back yard, we feed all visiting dogs separately, and can provide daily pictures of your baby’s activities. I can also provide regular weigh-ins, medications, and teeth brushing. I am very active and love going on long walks/hikes (up to three miles) upon request. While I prefer to host only smaller dogs in our home, I am open to all breeds for care at your home - including drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I kindly ask that all dogs are current on all vaccinations, including kennel cough. For medical emergencies, we are established at Westside Animal Hospital, The Animal Clinic of Woodland Park, and the Emergency Pet Center.

About: I have always had some type of animal present in my home growing up as a kid! My passion for animals led me to foster a few times and I loved every bit. I actually just moved here! I was thrilled to find out that this state/area was dog-friendly! I wake up early in the mornings and incorporate walks into my day-to-day life and I am able to assist emergency needs. I have a dog park in my neighborhood and it’s pretty walkable! Most to all dogs needs some form of exercise and I don’t mind a good hike or a walk in a bigger park! So much scenery to be seen! About: I understand what it’s like to need help with a pet when you have appointments, travel, or whatever else life brings you. I am happy to help be a neighbor who walks or checks in on your fur baby in a pinch. I have cared for animals young and old from bottle feeding to giving medications. I have even worked with aggressive animals in the past- as long as we discuss ahead of time how to handle aggression and introductions it’s something I’d be open to helping you with if the fit is right. I’m staying at home for a short period of time with my infant. The best hours for me are going to be between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM, but if coordinated there are other time frames, I’m able to help out during the week. I follow your rules in your home and will discuss anything that seems unusual to me. As far as my home: I currently have two cats and a toddler, so child friendly pets only. Willing to discuss daycare, but only by exception. I have a fenced in yard.

I got lots of updates with pictures and videos and I could tell that my dog wasn't stressed and was having tons of fun. Patty and Mike followed all of the instructions perfectly and I appreciate that they not only cared for my precious girl but they loved her and made her feel comfortable as part of their family.
