About: I have always had a dog by my side growing up. I volunteered at my local animal shelter in high school, and I have always loved to pet sit for family and friends whenever possible. I am a full time graduate student, with classes only Tuesday-Thursday, leaving me plenty of time to care for your pets during the rest of the week! I will make sure the environment is safe when walking pets, ensuring they won’t be injured from objects on the ground or other animals. I will ensure the terrain is also not too hot or cold for their feet. I will also not let them overdo it outside!

About: I have always had some type of animal present in my home growing up as a kid! My passion for animals led me to foster a few times and I loved every bit. I actually just moved here! I was thrilled to find out that this state/area was dog-friendly! I wake up early in the mornings and incorporate walks into my day-to-day life and I am able to assist emergency needs. I have a dog park in my neighborhood and it’s pretty walkable! Most to all dogs needs some form of exercise and I don’t mind a good hike or a walk in a bigger park! So much scenery to be seen! I am paranoid when it comes to some things so I would ask a ton of questions to make sure that I as the caretaker would be at ease and of course the owner and companion.

About: I have made drop-in visits for my friends and family for a long time now with a lot of success. As for dog walking, I walk my own dog a couple of times week, who is energetic and likes to sniff around a lot, so I am used to a high-energy dog. I love being outside and with dogs, as I have volunteered a couple of time at Brother Wolf, and my dog is also from there. I have grown up with dogs my entire life, my friends and family have dogs of all sizes, so it shouldn't be a problem of how big or small the dog is. I am very excited and ready to take on some awesome drop-in visits and dog walking! I am a full-time student looking for flexible gigs! I am free most of the time in the afternoons on weekdays, weekends more on a case by case basis. I will be offering drop-in visits but will not be keeping dogs at my own house. I am flexible and accommodating for your dogs needs in any way.

About: Hi, I'm Dan! My best buddy Yama was born in January of 2019, he is now a seven year old good boy. I am a former Army infantry medic and am attending graduate school remotely from my house. I grew up on a farm in Oregon where I was surrounded with all sorts of animals from a young age. I love all animals, especially dogs. My style is fairly permissive, especially with other people's dogs, but I am clear on boundaries, redirect when needed, and give lots of love and positive energy. I don't buy into the dominance theory training methodology and am a big fan of Karen Pryor's training methods. I am happy to answer any questions you have on my philosophy. I live and work at home, so we do daily walks, play time in the backyard, mental enrichment activities, and low active / layabout sessions. I work from home full-time, so your dog is never left alone for long and always has eyes on them throughout the day. My home has a securely fenced yard, and I take introductions between dogs slowly and intentionally, reading body language carefully before giving anyone free run of the space. My seven year old dog Yama is a steady, positive presence who helps visiting dogs settle in. I use positive reinforcement exclusively because a dog that feels safe and understood is a dog that behaves safely. If anything ever seems off medically or behaviorally, I'll contact you promptly - that being said, that hasn't ever happened.

He can be a handful on walks and she did really well with him! On top of that, our flight got cancelled and Jennie was nice enough to walk and feed our dog an extra night and morning before we could get home! Kennedy was amazing with our dog Charlie. He's dog-reactive, 70 lbs, and in excellent shape (lots of hiking and running), so I was super nervous to leave him for this trip, but the entire time Kennedy was watching Charlie she was sending updates and pictures and answering any questions. Even the one time that Charlie got spooked on a walk (there were fireworks nearby for some reason), Kennedy let me know what happened, how they dealt with it, and ensured me that he was okay and safe at home when they got back. I would rather someone let me know when anything goes even slightly awry and keep me updated than have someone that doesn't keep me updated on such things. It just really made me feel like I could trust Kennedy and reassured me that Charlie was in good hands. I highly recommend Kennedy for any and all of your dog care needs. You can expect full transparency and trust that they will do what is best for your pet.
Attentive to my dog and to all of my complicated directions. Jessica doesn’t get absorbed in headphones, but keeps a close eye on my special needs old man as she walks him (he got a horrible and costly abscess in his neck from chewing a stick) to make sure he doesn’t snatch something potentially harmful from the ground. I highly recommend her.

Tess is the best out there. I can always count on her to not only walk my dog, but to go out of her way to ensure he gets enrichment with puzzles/snuffle pad time even when I do not ask. HaNui showed up on time and communicated with me throughout our booking process. She even contacted me about the extreme heat during the day and thoughtfully suggested walking Piper when it was a little cooler. HaNui is very good with dogs and Piper came home happy and calm. Kathryn was absolutely amazing with my dog! I was scrambling at the last second to find someone to help, and she was so so so kind. She was communicative, kind, and clearly cared so much about making sure he was comfortable and happy. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands.
