About: Hello, I am a fisheries and wildlife/biology graduate looking to earn money doing what I love, which is pretty much anything that has to do with animals and nature. I am an ER vet tech and have 5 years of experience in the field. This job has given me invaluable experience with cat and dog behavior and treatments. I have experience with wildlife, volunteering at the wildlife center in Verona, and I also had a 3-month internship caring for wolves, coyotes, and foxes. I have also had experience with pets my entire life. I have had cats and dogs since the day I was born and even got to help raise puppies. I often house-sitting homes with cats and dogs of all sizes (and some goats). I enjoy spending time with animals, and would love to get to meet new ones and hopefully even form relationships with them. I own my own pets (2 dogs and 3 cats) and integrate their care into my daily routine. I also care for pets at my job as an emergency vet tech. I have a fenced yard for my fur babies and any guests to play in and use for potty breaks. My home is also already dog and cat proofed, since I have my own.

“Fantastic! My dog was so tired afterwards”

About: I am the proud owner of two cats and a Labrador puppy. I’ve had animals since I was a little girl and have also gained experience in animal rescue. This spring, I will be starting my Vet Tech career in college, and I can’t wait to finally begin my passion. I am a very patient person and understand the importance of giving every animal the space and time they need. No animal is too big or too small—I love them all! I’m currently working from home and taking care of my 10 month old Puppy. I am very flexible during the week. My school starts in April. I’ll have online classes and will be still flexible Your pets will receive the care they need and, most importantly to me, the way you envision it! I treat every pet as if it were my own and understand that they all have special needs.

About: I've sat dogs and cats and squirrels and fish and horses and all sorts of animals for the last 12 years. I worked at a barn and kennel for a time in my earlier years. I LOVE being w little (and big) creatures and learning how they communicate and what makes them happy. I've sat dogs and cats with special needs, including a sweet old German shepherd who needed seizure intervention occasionally. I'm happy to work with puppies and kittens and try to reinforce whatever training you've started. I work as a remote contractor so am able to be very flexible in when I provide care and am available for stays. For drop-ins, I'm available as early as 7am until 8pm. I'm happy to utilize whatever training and processes work for your pets, and if that isn't communicated I err on the side of considering consent in animal interactions. I offer cuddles and physical touch and if they don't want it, I don't force it. That builds trust much quicker and allows me to learn what the pet prefers vs not. I keep pets away from other animals when out unless specified, and I follow feeding guidelines to the letter.

“Rebecca is an excellent and reliable dog sitter. In my home we have 2 dogs, a cat, two mini goats that live outside, a fish tank, and 8 crested geckos. She is able to take care of ALL these animals and keeps our house in order while she stays here. She even took out my garbage the last time I was out of town and she always grabs our mail.. I have used her services on around 12 occasions and have never been less than thoroughly impressed. I can't give a higher recommendation for a pet sitter. I only regret that she will be harder to book after she takes on more clients!”
