About: Hi! I'm Angela, a loving pet sitter in Colorado Springs. I've had my rescued dog (from the Humane Society) for 5 happy years — he's my best buddy and taught me so much about patience and care. I also volunteered at PetSmart with adoptions, where I walked dogs, helped with events, and supported pets finding their forever homes. This schedule works well for morning and evening walks, drop-in visits, and house-sitting where I can be present overnight and on weekends. I take care of pets in your home by treating your space and your pet like my own — with gentleness, respect, and close attention to detail. I care for pets in your home by following your routine exactly feeding, walks, play, meds, and potty breaks. I keep everything safe (doors closed, hazards checked), send photos/videos during visits, and leave your home tidy. About: I have always had a dog by my side growing up. I volunteered at my local animal shelter in high school, and I have always loved to pet sit for family and friends whenever possible. I am a full time graduate student, with classes only Tuesday-Thursday, leaving me plenty of time to care for your pets during the rest of the week! I will make sure the environment is safe when walking pets, ensuring they won’t be injured from objects on the ground or other animals. I will ensure the terrain is also not too hot or cold for their feet. I will also not let them overdo it outside!

About: I love all animals, dogs seem to mirror my personality and energy levels best though. I’ve always been a go to pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors growing up (my parents wouldn’t get me my own dog so I informally adopted everyone else’s). I love big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible during the day. I usually take myself on at least one walk per day so it’d be nice to have company! My partner is a doctor so he’s gone most of the day, but also loves dogs and wants to explore getting one of our own. We have a house on a quiet street, there’s lot of room to explore. I’m big on safety in my own home and others, so doors/windows are never left open, and I keep a watchful eye even with fences/etc.

About: Hi, I'm Dan! My best buddy Yama was born in January of 2019, he is now a seven year old good boy. I am a former Army infantry medic and am attending graduate school remotely from my house. I grew up on a farm in Oregon where I was surrounded with all sorts of animals from a young age. I love all animals, especially dogs. My style is fairly permissive, especially with other people's dogs, but I am clear on boundaries, redirect when needed, and give lots of love and positive energy. I don't buy into the dominance theory training methodology and am a big fan of Karen Pryor's training methods. I am happy to answer any questions you have on my philosophy. I live and work at home, so we do daily walks, play time in the backyard, mental enrichment activities, and low active / layabout sessions. I work from home full-time, so your dog is never left alone for long and always has eyes on them throughout the day. My home has a securely fenced yard, and I take introductions between dogs slowly and intentionally, reading body language carefully before giving anyone free run of the space. My seven year old dog Yama is a steady, positive presence who helps visiting dogs settle in. I use positive reinforcement exclusively because a dog that feels safe and understood is a dog that behaves safely. If anything ever seems off medically or behaviorally, I'll contact you promptly - that being said, that hasn't ever happened.
