About: I enjoy dogs more than people. When I used to live on Guam, there was a period i was watching 4 dogs, 2 of which were mine. One happened to be a pit bull, and another happened to be rottweiler. The other 2 were medium sized. Now, that I am no longer in Guam I have 3 dogs that me and my wife take care of. I have my 2 from Guam. I havent been around all types of dogs, but I really enjoy them all. I find their different personalities and their energy levels interesting. I enjoy walking my dogs, so I think it would be fun to walk other peoples dogs. When I’m not working and time permits, i like taking my pups hiking in the mountains with me. Thank you for checking out my profile ! I walk my three girls at least five days a week. And when I have a day off, i love taking them into the mountains. Each dog is different. Different pup parents have different plans for their babies, so their rules come first. But if permitted, i would love to share the same trails I explore with our four legged partners.

About: I have had dogs and cats for along time. First was pomeranian, dachshund, two golden retrievers. One golden(Nala) lived to 13 my other golden (Jude) lived to be 12. I love having a dog. Need time to heal. That is why I would love taking care of your dog. I am retired. I am home the majority of the day. Plenty of time to cuddle,play,walk,ball throwing anything your furry baby would like to do. I have a fenced yard. Plenty of room for them to run around and play. I have one cat. Your fur baby would need to get along with cats if boarding in my home.

I maintain a structured, low stress environment, to ensure my two older children, my friendly resident cat, and your pet all coexist safely. My cat has a dedicated safe zone blocked off from guest pets if needed. My children are highly trained around animals and all interactions are 100% supervised.

About: I have taken care of animals nearly my entire life. I grew up working on my aunt's horse ranch, I'm a volunteer advanced dog walker for the humane society, and I do volunteer animal care for wolf dogs at the wolf and wildlife rescue. I've had a lifelong love and appreciation for animals, and I have the skills & patience to make sure their needs are met. I'm currently retired from the military, so spend my day taking care of my own animals as well as volunteering at the humane society and wolf and wildlife rescue. About: Hi, I'm Dan! My best buddy Yama was born in January of 2019, he is now a seven year old good boy. I am a former Army infantry medic and am attending graduate school remotely from my house. I grew up on a farm in Oregon where I was surrounded with all sorts of animals from a young age. I love all animals, especially dogs. My style is fairly permissive, especially with other people's dogs, but I am clear on boundaries, redirect when needed, and give lots of love and positive energy. I don't buy into the dominance theory training methodology and am a big fan of Karen Pryor's training methods. I am happy to answer any questions you have on my philosophy. I live and work at home, so we do daily walks, play time in the backyard, mental enrichment activities, and low active / layabout sessions. I work from home full-time, so your dog is never left alone for long and always has eyes on them throughout the day. My home has a securely fenced yard, and I take introductions between dogs slowly and intentionally, reading body language carefully before giving anyone free run of the space. My seven year old dog Yama is a steady, positive presence who helps visiting dogs settle in. I use positive reinforcement exclusively because a dog that feels safe and understood is a dog that behaves safely. If anything ever seems off medically or behaviorally, I'll contact you promptly - that being said, that hasn't ever happened.

About: I grew up with dogs and have helped my family dog-sit on occasion. More recently, I helped walk and take care of a friend's dog while their family was abroad for two months. Regarding care, one of my dogs suffers occasional seizures, so I am well versed in how to act during and after the episode. I am currently working a seasonal, part-time job for summer break. I have no set schedule yet, so my hours and days are not defined. However, over the next couple of weeks I hope to set a general schedule with the same days off each week. Either way, I have enough time on days off and after shifts to provide pet care. I care for pets, particularly dogs, by providing walks to get their energy out and keep them healthy. I like to find small hiking trails and walk those (if there are any around), or simply walk around the neighborhood.
