“Kim was a lifesaver on our trip to Colorado Springs, many of the activities we planned didn't allow dogs and we felt so comfortable leaving our doggo with her. She was super flexible on times and we even added an extra day! She sent videos and our pup was so happy when we picked him up and excited when we took him back the next day!”

“70-lb Elsie enjoyed her stay with Janae and her friendly dog. She was offered a big bed indoors (but laid next to it, as usual) and enjoyed exploring the large backyard during her stay. Pickup and Drop off were easy, and Janae responded quickly through the app - highly recommend!”
“Casey is great! My dog came home every day and passed out so I know he spent every day playing and having fun. My pick up times fluctuated some and Casey was very flexible. I would have no problem booking with Casey next time I need someone to watch my dog!”

“Rachel and was so sweet with my boys. They were immediately comfortable at her home. My Ollie even wanted to show me around when I returned to pick him up; usually he is dying to jump in the car and head home. That speaks very well of Rachel. She sent me photos and communications was great!”

About: We nicknamed our home The Dachs Inn - a weenie wonderland! We’ve cared for Dachshunds for 15 years and specialize in meeting the unique needs of this breed, including dog ramps on our furniture and deck. Our home features a dog door with all-day access to a giant backyard for potty breaks, play time, sunbathing and squirrels!!! Plush dog beds are placed through the home and a giant sectional provides the perfect spot for cuddle time. Daily walks are provided, we even have a dog stroller for senior dogs or those dachshunds suffering from IVDD. I work remotely from home full time and, along with my retired husband, provide hourly drop-in care, play dates, overnight and extended boarding in our home. Additionally, I provide home visits and walking services to families located on the west side of Colorado Springs. Other locations throughout Colorado are considered on case-by-case request for extended care in your home (5 or more days). I have three dachshunds, ages 15, 10, and under 1 year. My dog-friendly home has a fenced back yard, we feed all visiting dogs separately, and can provide daily pictures of your baby’s activities. I can also provide regular weigh-ins, medications, and teeth brushing. I am very active and love going on long walks/hikes (up to three miles) upon request. While I prefer to host only smaller dogs in our home, I am open to all breeds for care at your home - including drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I kindly ask that all dogs are current on all vaccinations, including kennel cough. For medical emergencies, we are established at Westside Animal Hospital, The Animal Clinic of Woodland Park, and the Emergency Pet Center.
“Leslie took excellent care of Felix. Even more than that, she was flexible with the times daily, even when we had to cancel and re-schedule on short notice. The home was very clean and my pup was accepted by all in the family. It was Felix's first time away without family. This was our first Rover experience so we were a bit nervous, but we will definitely seek to book her again. Can't thank her enough!”

About: Ever since I was a preteen I've been pet sitting. My family has owned Shiba Inus in the past, some of the most stubborn weirdos you'll ever meet. I was such a glutton for punishment I volunteered with the Colorado Shiba Inu Resue as a foster parent. I have fostered all kinds of dogs, outgoing, timid, out of shape, extra active, and even puppy mill survivors. I am happy to take care of dogs at mostly any age. I am able to give medication, oral, injections etc... I work from home, so I will be able to give your pup plenty of attention. I also have a good sized fenced yard where they can chase the squirrels all they want. I have a camera out back, so if I am not able to physically be there the whole time I can keep an eye on them. I work from home. I do have a regular schedule, and occasional appointments and need to get out of the house. I will make sure you are aware of any time I will not be home with your dog. Also if they like car rides we will 100% go and get some pup cups! I have a fenced yard with security cameras. I also have a senior dog that is pretty low key and keeps to himself. However, like any person, sometimes dogs might not get along. I have a finished basement where I can rotate them so neither is lonely for long if it comes to that. But I would prefer to have all the dogs hanging out upstairs and barking at the mailman. I do have some doggy gates to keep them out of the kitchen as well. With my past foster experience I have cared for many dogs that have anxiety or other issues. Due to this I am very capable of monitoring the interactions between dogs and can diffuse any tense situations. In the event of any emergency I know where the closest Animal ER is, but there is also a vets office a couple blocks from the house as well.
About: I grew up with a house full of animals, horses, birds, cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, etc. I love animals and would be thrilled to watch over yours! Growing up my mom also fostered all sorts of dogs, so I have experience with all shapes, sizes and temperaments. I work from home making my schedule pretty flexible to assist in your doggie caring needs. My pup Baldwin recently passed at almost 15yo and he was a cuddler extrodinaire - so if your pup has just been home alone and just needs some cuddles, my experience is not lacking. I only watch 1 dog at a time unless it’s 2 from the same household. I work from home so I am around all day M-F! During the hotter months I will walk the dogs early morning or late afternoon. I live near downtown Colorado Springs, I have a fenced yard, but the front fence is only about 3-4ft high. My home is only about 800sq feet but is very open.
“Ariel has been fantastic. I have a high energy pandemic pup that had daycare with Ariel. My pup happily trots to the door to see her in the morning and and comes home tired and content! I get pictures of Maple's day and updates as well; communication with Ariel is punctual and easy. My dog can be toy possessive and Ariel has handled it well, BCBA through and through! All of the stars, my dog loves her and her dog is a fantastic host!! Book, if you're lucky enough to get on her schedule, Ariel is wonderful!!”

“Hally had two dogs in our booking, a young 1 year old and a 10 year old senior. She was able to handle both dogs needs. The dogs got walks, a trip to the park and some swimming in. Plenty of videos and pictures of the dog activies. Both dogs were happy and well cared for. Simply an outstanding dog sitter!”

“Absolutely amazing couple! I had someone ghost my dogs at the last minute. But they answered and were totally understanding about it being last. They were super friendly! Even my one girl dog who is hesitant about men gave Anderw lots of kisses like she knew him!! I’m very happy with getting to meet them and we will definitely be booking with them in the future! Doba and Addie will love to see you guys again! Thank you so much!!!”

“Eli took such good care of my little, old, anxious dog. They sent me pictures and updates throughout the day, I could tell Willis had the best time making friends with Milo as well. Willis had the best day with Eli, we will be back, thank you so much.”

“She is great! she accomodated us last minute and very friendly, sends picture of our toy poodle always. Surely will use her service again :)”

“Doriana was a lifesaver! We were traveling with our sweet old dog Daisy and needed someone to care for her while we visited Pikes Peak. Doriana sent photos and updates letting us know Daisy was settling in, and when we picked her up it was clear Daisy was indeed comfortable! Doriana has a great place with a fenced in yard and park nearby. Daisy appreciated the big comfy dog bed! Thank you Doriana!”

“We brought our dog to Carla all bandaged up with an injury and she was able to follow all of his care directions and make sure he took it easy to heal. This was all very last minute and we are so grateful she was able to help us. She truly is the best!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Jesus made it absolutely perfect! Quick response to the request, gave clear directions, and sent pics and videos. Very friendly and our timid husky warmed up quickly to him. Thanks again!”

I couldn’t recommend Taylor enough! She is super responsive and great with animals. My dog can be nervous around new people, but within minutes of meeting Taylor he seemed happy and comfortable like he had known her forever. I dropped my dog off with her for the day, and she ended up taking him out for little hike and sent some great pictures throughout the day. I’d love to have her watch my dog again in the future!

Devon was wonderful! Being from out of town and unable to meet with a boarder in advance, it was a little unnerving to leave our dog with someone. But from the moment we arrived and met Devon, I was completely at ease. We were able to ride the cog railway up to Pikes Peak and spend some time enjoying Manitou Springs. Thanks Devon!
