“Samantha was absolutely amazing. Our dog was very skittish when we dropped him off but Samantha made sure he felt safe and secure. I received the cutest updates of his progress during his visit. I would highly recommend Samantha!”

“Absolutely amazing experience! He took such great care of Nova and treated her like his own. She was happy, exhausted from playing with the other pups, and clearly well-loved the entire time. His communication was excellent, and I always felt confident she was in good hands. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!”

“Kim is great! My Cockapoo went right to her and had the best day. She is very caring and takes care of your dog like it is her own. I would highly recommend!”

“Melinda was very easy to communicate with. She took excellent care of my little dog, who can be anxious around new people and other dogs. I would definitely ask her to watch my dog again in future!”

“Meghann and Rachel provided such wonderful care for denali! He loved going there, and even came home brushed once just as a favor. We had to move, and Denali will definitely miss this family a lot.”

“Alisha, Luis & their family were awesome! They treated our Lulu like she’s their own. I cant thank them enough! We enjoyed our stay in Colorado knowing the Lulu was safe in their home. If i could give them 6stars i would!”

“Mariah was great. Our dogs got along really well and my pup came home happy and tired. Mariah’s communication was great throughout the day and she was flexible with pickup time.”

“Sara is great! She is a good communicator, keeping you updated along the way during the visit and provides plenty of pictures! It’s such a pleasure to know your pet is in good hands and you can rest comfortably about their care!”

“Carla was fantastic with my little Peanut. My pup had the best time at day care. She sent so many updates and was super flexible with his pickup/drop off times. I’d love to have her watch him again.”

“Super flexible and able to accommodate a last minute need. This was one of my dogs first time with a sitter I didn’t know personally and they were in constant communication which was awesome.”

“Phil and Becca have cared for my dog Piper a few times before we officially moved here from Massachusetts. Today was the first time they watched her for the day since we moved in. Piper ran to Becca and didn’t even look back at me (which is shocking, because Piper is a SUPER attached Dachshund)! This shows how well they care for her and how much Piper loves being with them. I’ll never send Piper anywhere else! :)”
“My dog has been going to doggy day care at Roses for almost 4 years now. He gets up every morning and looks forward to socializing with the other dogs. He also gets to go for walks, which he absolutely loves! He enjoys it so much more than being home alone all day with nothing to do but sit by the front door for hours while I am at work. He hates being alone. He is a very friendly and sociable little dog.Its well worth the money to me and my little dog.”

“I really appreciated how flexible Mei was with watching Bentley last minute while my boyfriend was having surgery. She sent lots of pictures throughout his stay so it was great knowing he was happy and taken care of while I was dealing with all the medical stuff at the hospital. Thank you!”

“Sara was so accommodating and flexible taking our pup last minute. She was super attentive and patient with our 10 month old. Can't recommend her enough!”

About: We nicknamed our home The Dachs Inn - a weenie wonderland! We’ve cared for Dachshunds for 15 years and specialize in meeting the unique needs of this breed, including dog ramps on our furniture and deck. Our home features a dog door with all-day access to a giant backyard for potty breaks, play time, sunbathing and squirrels!!! Plush dog beds are placed through the home and a giant sectional provides the perfect spot for cuddle time. Daily walks are provided, we even have a dog stroller for senior dogs or those dachshunds suffering from IVDD. I work remotely from home full time and, along with my retired husband, provide hourly drop-in care, play dates, overnight and extended boarding in our home. Additionally, I provide home visits and walking services to families located on the west side of Colorado Springs. Other locations throughout Colorado are considered on case-by-case request for extended care in your home (5 or more days). I have three dachshunds, ages 15, 10, and under 1 year. My dog-friendly home has a fenced back yard, we feed all visiting dogs separately, and can provide daily pictures of your baby’s activities. I can also provide regular weigh-ins, medications, and teeth brushing. I am very active and love going on long walks/hikes (up to three miles) upon request. While I prefer to host only smaller dogs in our home, I am open to all breeds for care at your home - including drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I kindly ask that all dogs are current on all vaccinations, including kennel cough. For medical emergencies, we are established at Westside Animal Hospital, The Animal Clinic of Woodland Park, and the Emergency Pet Center.
“Michael is great, our dog Walter enjoyed his care and felt comfortable in his home. Provided him with attention, walks, and kept us updated with photos. Michael was gracious with our tardiness on pick-up time having dealt with traffic, we are so grateful. Thank you Michael, would definitely utilize services again.”

About: I have had family dogs and cats for over 15 years, have had my own dog for 6 years and a pair of rats and hamsters, and have worked professionally in an animal shelter in Kansas where we provided care for dogs and cats of all ages (newborn to end of life) and special care for those with special needs as well as boarding for animals with owners needing a trusted provider to care for their animals while they’re unavailable. I often pet sit for family and friends and I am mostly always at home. I currently stay at home. I have my own dog, my corgi. As well as my 2-year old son, loves our dog and has done well with other dogs that have stayed with us. I have a walking trail behind my apartment so we frequently gear up and go on walks around the neighborhood, although we also enjoy days in — just depends on what we feel like doing that day. I have plenty of time to give scheduled medication or food or exercise or diaper changes if needed for pets. Apartment living so no yard but yes to two closed-off balconies that would be available for pets to use to look out and relax at while staying with us, also walking trail in the back and a fenced-in dog park in our apartment complex. When inside — which will be the case unless owner wants otherwise such as indoor/outdoor use of the balcony, pets are allowed in all areas of the house unless closed off to my own son but usually wherever my dog is allowed any pet is allowed, also allowed on beds and couches but not counters or tables (pet will be redirected no big deal). Water is available all day, I do not leave food out for my own dog but have an area your pet can stay at if needing a longer time to eat any meals given, if pet is a grazer that can be accommodated for as well. If a bath is needed due to accidents it will be given if pet is friendly and allows me to bathe them. I will also work with pets that aren’t spayed/neutered since my own dog is spayed but will ensure no female or male is being taken care of by me unless one is fixed or they’re all males/all females being taken care of that day. I will mostly be seeing small-medium sized dogs for pet sitting.

We were traveling through Colorado Springs & needed a last minute sitter so we could take the train up Pikes Peak. Because of John’s great reviews, I contacted him the afternoon before & John said he was available. He took great care of Harley & sent pictures & a video. I really appreciate John being willing to take Harley on such short notice. Rover is a great app - especially while traveling.

Giselle watched our dog Benny and we felt so comfortable leaving him in her care. From the start Giselle was quick to reply to our request for care and was very flexible. She worked with Benny on his training, took him on a long walk and played with him in the yard. He is a high energy dog and she wore him out!😊 If you are looking for someone responsible, attentive and kind Giselle was perfect. I will use her in the future!

Derrek and his wife were amazing with my two dogs. They were so patient as it takes a little while for mine to trust, they did everything possible to make my dogs comfortable, and they both clearly had a lot of experience working with dogs. Communication was great! And it was evident that they loved dogs and cared deeply about the dogs’ having a positive experience at their house :) Highly recommend!

Samantha and Anthony are always so great. They have become my go-to pet sitters. Both of my dogs never hesitate to walk into their home like it’s their own which makes me feel so at ease knowing they are treated with only love and care. Absolutely recommend Samantha and Anthony to anyone searching for reliable pet care.

Sean and his family (both human and dog) are absolutely amazing! Maybe too amazing because I’m pretty sure my dog prefers being there! He is flexible, great with updates and pictures and you can tell how much he cares about all the does he’s taking care of. I would not leave Farley with anyone else and highly recommend him!
