I've been involved with training and taking care of dogs ever since I was 12. Whether it was our family dog, my first dog or my current pup, I believe all dogs need attention, exercise, and positive-reinforcement. My wife and I currently have a 1.5 year old, 24 lb. mix/rescue that loves other dogs but needs help with human socializing. I'm also fortunate to be working from home and have the ability to work with your pet(s) multiple times per day or to keep them overnight. If you're looking for a professional adult to take care of your dog(s), please look no further. I'm available for neighborhood walks, dog-park visits, help picking up/dropping off the pet and can even work with you on any grooming, dietary, or medical needs the pet(s) may have.

Derrek and his wife were amazing with my two dogs. They were so patient as it takes a little while for mine to trust, they did everything possible to make my dogs comfortable, and they both clearly had a lot of experience working with dogs. Communication was great! And it was evident that they loved dogs and cared deeply about the dogs’ having a positive experience at their house :) Highly recommend!
As always, Derrek was amazing with our pup. His dogs are great with her and he makes sure she gets plenty of exercise. She loves her time with him and we feel great about leaving her in his care.
Derrek was amazing with our pup. He took her to the dog park regularly and always ensured she had plenty of exercise. He kept us updated daily with photos and info on how she was doing, which made our long trip without our pup so much easier to enjoy as we knew she was well taken care of. He was great and I’d absolutely use him again!

Derrek was great! Very communicative and flexible. He brought his pups along on some walks so our dog was able to get more exercise and social time.
