I have experience with various breeds, behaviors, and ages of dogs & cats. I have been trained on handling anxiety, fear aggression, puppies, and senior dogs. I am attuned to pets' needs and can provide enrichment, discipline, cuddles, or whatever the individual pet needs. I have years of experience pet sitting. Trust, compassion, and safety are my priorities when handling pets, and I am grateful to have established trusting & loving relationships with all pets I have crossed paths with.

Melinda was wonderful! We used her to take care of our dogs while we were away on vacation, and she gave us complete peace of mind. She communicated with us regularly, sent photos, and clearly cared about making sure our dogs were happy and well cared for. After having the same dog walker for years, trying someone new made us a little nervous, but knowing our dogs were in such good hands was a huge relief. We would absolutely use Melinda again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and caring dog walker!
Excellent care and environment
Melinda was very quick to respond on the day I needed a sitter. She took great care of my baby girl while we were on vacation far away from home and couldn't take her on an excursion with us. Highly recommend!
Melinda was great with Zoey!, she watched her for 2 days and Zoey was completely cool with going back the 2nd day. Melinda sent us updates and pictures of Zoey during the day. I would definitely recommend Melinda, and if we return to Colorado Springz will use her again 😊❤️
She was wonderful with our dog, she played with him, worked on some training and treated him well.

Schedule
I am available throughout the week + weekends. I am very flexible with my schedule. I have a terrier rescue dog of my own, and my husband & I take him on 3 walks a day--around 8am, 3pm, and 10pm.

Your pet's safety and wellbeing are my priority, and I am flexible with the needs of your pet. My husband & I are very attentive to our dog and would provide that same compassion and flexibility to your pet. I can walk, feed, & administer medicine at whichever times work best for your dog. It is important to me that I keep your pet's routine as intact as possible to help them feel at ease.
Pets
A typical day
I tailor the activities based on the pet's energy, interests, & needs. We have lots of dog toys and love going on walks around the neighborhood. I enjoy practicing tricks & creating enrichment exercises as well but would need to know if your dog has food restrictions.
