I have experience with various breeds, behaviors, and ages of dogs & cats. I have been trained on handling anxiety, fear aggression, puppies, and senior dogs. I am attuned to pets' needs and can provide enrichment, discipline, cuddles, or whatever the individual pet needs. I have years of experience pet sitting. Trust, compassion, and safety are my priorities when handling pets, and I am grateful to have established trusting & loving relationships with all pets I have crossed paths with.

Melinda did an amazing job watching our two dogs while we were out of town for 9 days. She went above and beyond to ensure they were happy, healthy and having fun (and our dogs are not the easiest). Would highly recommend her!
Our cat Teddy’s shy, but warmed up to Melinda on the first visit! She was always attentive, reported her visits well, and the time she spent with him made us much more comfortable overall. Highly recommend her services!

Zeitplan
I am available throughout the week + weekends. I am very flexible with my schedule. I have a terrier rescue dog of my own, and my husband & I take him on 3 walks a day--around 8am, 3pm, and 10pm.

Your pet's safety and wellbeing are my priority, and I am flexible with the needs of your pet. My husband & I are very attentive to our dog and would provide that same compassion and flexibility to your pet. I can walk, feed, & administer medicine at whichever times work best for your dog. It is important to me that I keep your pet's routine as intact as possible to help them feel at ease.

I tailor the activities based on the pet's energy, interests, & needs. We have lots of dog toys and love going on walks around the neighborhood. I enjoy practicing tricks & creating enrichment exercises as well but would need to know if your dog has food restrictions.
