“Kim is great! My Cockapoo went right to her and had the best day. She is very caring and takes care of your dog like it is her own. I would highly recommend!”

“70-lb Elsie enjoyed her stay with Janae and her friendly dog. She was offered a big bed indoors (but laid next to it, as usual) and enjoyed exploring the large backyard during her stay. Pickup and Drop off were easy, and Janae responded quickly through the app - highly recommend!”
About: We nicknamed our home The Dachs Inn - a weenie wonderland! We’ve cared for Dachshunds for 15 years and specialize in meeting the unique needs of this breed, including dog ramps on our furniture and deck. Our home features a dog door with all-day access to a giant backyard for potty breaks, play time, sunbathing and squirrels!!! Plush dog beds are placed through the home and a giant sectional provides the perfect spot for cuddle time. Daily walks are provided, we even have a dog stroller for senior dogs or those dachshunds suffering from IVDD. I work remotely from home full time and, along with my retired husband, provide hourly drop-in care, play dates, overnight and extended boarding in our home. Additionally, I provide home visits and walking services to families located on the west side of Colorado Springs. Other locations throughout Colorado are considered on case-by-case request for extended care in your home (5 or more days). I have three dachshunds, ages 15, 10, and under 1 year. My dog-friendly home has a fenced back yard, we feed all visiting dogs separately, and can provide daily pictures of your baby’s activities. I can also provide regular weigh-ins, medications, and teeth brushing. I am very active and love going on long walks/hikes (up to three miles) upon request. While I prefer to host only smaller dogs in our home, I am open to all breeds for care at your home - including drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I kindly ask that all dogs are current on all vaccinations, including kennel cough. For medical emergencies, we are established at Westside Animal Hospital, The Animal Clinic of Woodland Park, and the Emergency Pet Center.
“Another great experience with Casey. My dog came home and crashed out so I know he had a lot of fun. Would definitely book with Casey again in the future.”

“My very energetic pup has a blast at Samantha’s house and loves her husband too. She’s gets lots of attention and comes home very happy n tired!”

About: I grew up in a household with many rescues and foster dogs so I have experience with many different breeds and have not found a breed I didn’t love. I have always loved dogs very much and was raised in a house with 7 rescue dogs. I adopted my own dog as soon as I moved out at 18 and I lost her to cancer in 2021 so now I constantly miss having a dog so I figured Rover could be the best of both worlds for me until I adopt another of my own. My home is within walking distance to garden of the gods trails so with your permission I would love to take your dog on many hikes throughout their stay. If your pup prefers to stay home and be a cuddler, that totally works for me too! I have a very quiet house hold, no kids/dogs. Our typical weekend includes hanging around the house and getting outdoors. I own my own landscaping business so my schedule is very flexible. On days that I am watching a pet. I will work from home allowing potty breaks anytime/as needed. I handle all of the designs for my business so my typical workday includes design time at home with lots of time to care for any pets. I have a larger fenced yet but would still never leave your dog unattended in the yard. In my home, pets are allowed up on the furniture and the bed ( unless you specifically don’t want them to, just let me know!). I typically go on 4-5 walks a day but love to spend time outdoors so each walk can be short or long depending on your dogs breed/health. I am happy to provide update photos or videos on request but also never want to bombard an owner with too many updates during your dogs stay, so please just let me know what your preferences are.
“Pam was so wonderful! She was easy going and flexible with our schedule and really easy to communicate with. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Mariah is an amazing dog-sitter!! She was very helpful with last minute booking. Paloma and my boy got along great. At the meet and greet she told us exactly how Zeus would be spending his day. She listened to all our concerns and information. Drop off and pick up were quick and simple. Her kiddos love and respect animals, I know Zeus got spoiled with attention. And lots of fun play time with his new friend Paloma! We will be booking with Mariah and Paloma again.”

“Phil and Becca have cared for my dog Piper a few times before we officially moved here from Massachusetts. Today was the first time they watched her for the day since we moved in. Piper ran to Becca and didn’t even look back at me (which is shocking, because Piper is a SUPER attached Dachshund)! This shows how well they care for her and how much Piper loves being with them. I’ll never send Piper anywhere else! :)”
“Kristy was a great sitter for our very high energy Boxer! I was able to make a reservation on short notice. Drop off and pick up were quick and easy. Our pup slept GREAT after a day of play with Kristy's dog. Will book again in the future!”

“Really appreciated John taking our last-minute booking to take care of my crazy Dalmatian. With high separation anxiety, I'm always uneasy about leaving Spice with someone she does not know. However, my husband dropped her off at John's house, and she was immediately engrossed with sniffing the backyard and didn't even know she had been left. John took her on a nice walk around the neighborhood, and she settled down immediately on the deck in the sunshine when they returned. No tantrums. She was calm and tired when we picked her up this afternoon. Woohoo! Will definitely use John again. BONUS: he lives close to where we do and is so convenient! Thank you, John.”

“Ariel has been fantastic. I have a high energy pandemic pup that had daycare with Ariel. My pup happily trots to the door to see her in the morning and and comes home tired and content! I get pictures of Maple's day and updates as well; communication with Ariel is punctual and easy. My dog can be toy possessive and Ariel has handled it well, BCBA through and through! All of the stars, my dog loves her and her dog is a fantastic host!! Book, if you're lucky enough to get on her schedule, Ariel is wonderful!!”

“Lorraine was awesome. She was able to watch my elderly dog on last minute notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. She spoiled him, send me updates and pics along the way. Thank you so much!!”

About: Although my Lexi Jo (pictured with me) crossed the Rainbow Bridge August 2020, I enjoy caring and being in the company of dogs! My second job is COMPLETELY flexible with the care/needs of your pet and allows me to schedule so that I will be with them 24/7 in MY home, or in YOUR home (and not have to disrupt their routines). I've been in the pet care industry for 15 years managing doggy daycare/boarding/training facilities in Wheat Ridge, CO and Twin Falls, Idaho and from this I've gained vast experience with all types of dogs. ****( I have a Letter of Recommendation from my former employer in Twin Falls, Idaho also posted in my photo gallery)*** I am currently self-employed, so I have ALL the FLEXIBLILTY that you need. Depending on the length of the stay, I may have to do a grocery run during the stay (if caring for your pet in YOUR home). I will strive to be with your pet(s) the majority, if not the ENTIRE time, while they are in my care in YOUR home... dependent on the length of the stay I just may need to re-stock some things from the grocery store! If care is in MY home, I will "grocery up" and be there 24/7 with your pet!
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young kid. I worked in a vet clinic for about 3 years and have experience with all sorts of animals. I currently have two dogs named Miki and Lilo. Your pet would be in great care with me. I am a teacher and I am currently teaching preschool. I work from 9-3 during the week but I will be home any other time to take care of your pet. I would make sure to take care of your pet well. I try to make sure that our pets get 30 minutes of exercise in the morning and 30 minutes of exercise in the evening at least. I try to take them on walk or to the park during the day as well. We are they fenced the yard and give our dogs plenty of time to be outside and play as well.
“Ashley was so kind and and friendly! Lots of space for the pups to roam and she was so great about answering any questions I had and she kept me updated all day about my pups and what they were up to. I’d definitely recommend!”

“Roselin is absolutely amazing! Great communication, updates are amazing, she made my doggos feel like they were at home and that’s all I could ask for! 10/10 recommend!!!”

“Katherine was great. She was flexible within my time frame and my dog always enjoyed his time there. He was super pooped whenever I'd pick him up, so he got plenty of energy out. And he is a very energetic dog.”
