I currently work full-time and part of that is virtual from home. I am a psychotherapist so I only work when I have scheduled sessions four days out of the week. My partner also works completely from home at this time so we are able to tend to dogs needs easily. We typically have a set time for breakfast/dinner and dogs get walked daily.

I have a fenced yard and we live in a pretty quiet area. Animals are allowed free reign of the house so we have no problem with being on furniture. Fine with us if your pet does not crate-train, also fine if you do as we have a crate set up. Good neighborhood for walks (and walking distance to pub-dog) as well as nearby walking trails and parks (Bear creek dog park).

Let me know if your dog has special needs (medications, accommodations, etc.) so that I can plan for it. We do have about 5 steps coming up to the front door as well as going down into our backyard so keep that in mind for dogs with certain physical concerns or limitations. I do have experience physically assisting dogs if they have issues with back legs/hips but I do not have a body harness for this on hand.
A typical day
I like to stick to a routine so we usually start out with potty and breakfast in the morning before planning the day. Then depending on our work schedules and weather, we find the best time and place to walk and get the dogs some exercise. Playing and attention given throughout the day while at home. We also have lots of dog toys and some puzzles as well for mental stimulation. Then we try to stick to a routine dinner time as well. Lots of one-on-one time and relaxing time after dinner once the sun goes down.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals from a very young age and grew up with family pets of all kinds, all my life. I also have formal and volunteer experience with dog training and obedience. I feel comfortable with all kinds of dogs! I understand the spectrum of personalities and how to support dogs with complicated backgrounds. I currently have one furry son of my own named Ronin. He absolutely loves other dogs. He is young and very good with dog social cues and respecting other dogs' space. He plays well with dogs of all energy levels, ages, and sizes.

We’re new to the area and were nervous leaving our dog for the first time. Maddie and Christian went above and beyond in communicating how he was doing, sending photos, and getting him comfortable in their home. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area.
