“Abigail was so professional and a delight! Daisy loved her, and Abigail went above and beyond giving her attention. She also checked in and provided pictures. I’m so grateful!”

“Sarah was wonderful! She gave good updates and I could tell my cat was well cared for while I was gone. Both Izzy and my place looked great when I returned.”

“Brianne is very attentive, caring, and flexible. We had a wonderful experience with her and our pets loved her! We will absolutely re-book with her in the future. Thank you for everything!”

“Jerica has been a great and reliable drop in visitor for my pug, Spanky! She gives him lots of playtime and always updates me with any concerns. She was also very flexible with me when I needed to cancel a visit last minute, and very communicative. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Beth and her Family are great! They checked on our two Kitties while we were gone. Even our scared Cat opened his heart and warmed up with her. We are very thankful for her help.”

“Our cat is grumpy. She doesn't like strangers and she hates it when her normal routine is disrupted. So, she's probably not the most fun cat on Tess' rounds. Still, Tess' took super good care of our little grump. We'll definitely use Tess' again. I enjoyed our trip so much more knowing that Rose was in very capable hands while we were away.”

“Dixie did a great check in with our puppy when we were out! Really grateful for her to come check in on him while we were away for the evening!”

About: I’ve been hands-on with dogs since I was 10, volunteering with animal shelters everywhere from Aruba to Chicago and working in dog daycares, doing walks, daily care, and all the real-life dog stuff. I currently volunteer with a wolfdog sanctuary, so big dogs, shy souls, seniors, and high-energy goofballs don’t faze me. I’m deeply empathetic by nature and truly believe dogs are my soul animal. Every dog is unique and deserves care that meets them where they are. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your dog in someone else’s hands, and I take that responsibility seriously! I offer calm, patient care and consistent updates for peace of mind. I also love sending photos, because I know how much those mean to me when I'm away from my dogs! I’m a stay-at-home mom with flexible availability all days of the week/end With my son heading to daycare, my schedule has opened up and allows me to give your dog focused, unrushed care (and all the pets!). I care for pets the way I’d want someone to care for my own. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and comfort level, then adjust my approach to match. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I focus on calm energy, safety, and consistency. I follow feeding, walking, and medication instructions carefully, keep environments clean and low-stress, and always prioritize your dog’s emotional well-being alongside their physical care. I also provide thoughtful updates and photos so you can feel connected and at ease while you’re away!
“Bethany has been consistently helping us with our new puppy for 1 month now. She is reliable, professional, flexible, and our little German Shepherd Olaf absolutely loves her! Not to mention, she is also a great photographer. I know that Olaf is in good hands when he's with Bethany. Her son Anthony is an absolute joy as well; he is gentle and kind to the puppy. I feel so comfortable leaving Olaf home during the days knowing that Bethany is checking in on him.”

“Josh was timely, friendly, and able to coax my shy rescue outside for potty breaks. He was willing to come by the evening before we left, on late notice, to meet and get acquainted with our dogs. Don’t hesitate to pick Josh if you need reliable service from Rover.”

“Dylan did an awesome job taking care of my cat, Ziggy. Super knowledgeable about cats and great communication. Couldn’t recommend Dylan more!”

“Chris communicated very well and made sure to keep us in the loop when taking care of our dogs. Very nice and kind person as well, as he took the courtesy to clean up our apartment afterwards, and that’s very generous of him. I would recommend him to anyone I know”

About: I love dogs and enjoy playing with them. I am an Air Force veteran and dog sit in my free time. I have taken care of many of my co-workers, friends, and family members' pets. I love to go for long walks around the neighborhood and play fetch in the backyard. My pet, Tango, loves to have playmates and he gets along with everyone. I will only take care of one or two pets at a time allowing me to give your pet(s) all the love and attention he/she needs. We can discuss other needs that may be unique to your pet(s). I will be happy to accommodate, if necessary. Keep in mind: Dog boarding is based on a 24hr stay. Subject to charges for early drop-off/late pick-up. If pets are aggressive, potty in the house excessively, is not flea-treated, or damage property, charges may apply. My current Availability for services: M-F 7p-9a, SaSu anytime. I work from from home a couple days per week, so I may be able to accommodate some hours. I will update my Rover schedule periodically, as needed. I have a fenced yard and love to play with them often out there. They are free to lounge around the house. If you usually crate your pet, I can accommodate that for you. I will try to keep any routine you have set for your pet.
“Elsa cared for our cats last week and did a great job with them. She followed instructions to ensure they got enough water, dry food, their daily canned dinners, and fresh tap water dribbled from the one specific bathroom sink that they drink out of it's clear that Elsa spent time visiting and playing with them since they were not starving for attention when we returned. Door was locked, house was as clean as we left it, and most importantly, the cats were healthy and happy. Success!”

About: Currently have two heeler mixes (7&9 years old) who are social butterfly’s and enjoy having friends over for playing in the yard and sharing snacks! My heart has a special place for senior dogs, as I had a JRT mix for 17 years. In college I worked at a Petco and was mentored by the dog trainer there. That experience helped me learn so much. I often pet sit for my parents who have 6 Rhodesian Ridgebacks, so I am comfortable with both small and large breeds. I would love the opportunity to host your dog at my home or be a guest in yours to keep them company! I am currently a stay at home dog mom! We get up early in the morning, about 4:30/5am. The dogs enjoy plenty of yard time and walks around the neighborhood during the day. Breakfast is usually kibble topped with vitamins and a farm fresh egg! Dinner is less exciting but they get plenty of treats to make up for it. We have a fenced backyard and tend to hang out in the yard with the dogs, especially if I am watching a known fence jumper. When meeting new dogs I prefer using the backyard and letting one dog out at a time. I always want to make sure there is room for everyone to feel comfortable. I do have a kitchen divider gate to separate dogs for breakfast/dinner time. Our dogs are friendly with food, but I know guest dogs may feel unsure in new space at first. If I am coming to your house, I would prefer to have clear communication of where dog leash, harness, cat/dog food, toys, treats, etc are as I want to respect your home and not be poking about unnecessarily. I am happy to walk any dog that has appropriate leash manners, or if you have a yard I am happy to play with the dogs there or simply hang out with them so they can enjoy the sun. ☀️ I am not able to watch a cat in my home, I can only visit cats. My cat does not do well with other feline friends, and I have to respect that boundary.
“Laura was great and was always on time to feed our cats everyday, they’re usually scared of strangers but she made them more comfortable and social than they have been with previous cat sitters!”

“Brianna did a fantastic job taking care of my dog while I was out of town. Consistent updates and pictures and let me just say, I could see the joy on my dogs face. Brianna is definitely a fantastic care taker.”

About: I've taken care of/trained my dog from the age of 7 weeks. I have volunteered for animal shelters for 4 years in various roles such as behavior modification, dog walking, advanced dog walking, and taking specific dogs on hikes. I am extremely in tune with the nonverbal communication/body language of dogs and I have a certificate for the Fear Free Shelter Program. I also have experience taking care of reptiles. I'm currently in college full time but all my classes are in the morning, so the only time I am unavailable to walk dogs is from 9-11 on T/R, 9:30-2 on Mondays, and before 2 on Wednesdays. There is rarely a time I'm not available to dogsit and I'm able to spend a lot of time with animals right now as I don't have a job at the moment since I am focusing on school. I tend to spoil animals - I go out of my way to treat them like royalty. I meticulously ensure pets are safe by making sure they are supervised (especially while outdoors) and by keeping any potential hazards inaccessible. I exclusively utilize positive reinforcement to reward good behavior instead of punishing unwanted ones.
Old Colorado City pet parents share their Rover experiences
Best pet sitter we've had! Absolutely lovely working with Nora. She went above and beyond. Our animals loved her. She even saw my cats that no one else has ever met. Easy to communicate and work with. She even took care of our garden plants. She sent pictures daily as well as a summary of what's going on. Highly recommended.

Kathryn was amazing taking care of our pups. She went beyond and above caring for them. She did such a great job following all our instructions and was so communicative and sent us the most amazing photos of the pups. They fell in love with her. I highly recommend her and will be using her again.

Mea did drop-ins, feedings, and walks with Peri while I was out of town. She is wonderful, and Peri adores her! It's hard leaving a fur baby in the care of someone else, but it is obvious Mea has a love of animals, and lots of experience in caring for them. I felt very much at ease knowing that he was in her care, and she will absolutely be my go-to for future Peri sitting needs.

Summer took such great care of Penny during her drop-in visits last week! 🐾 It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. Penny was happy, well cared for, and clearly got lots of love and attention. Summer also went above and beyond by bringing in a few deliveries for us, which we really appreciated! We’re so grateful and would absolutely trust Summer with Penny again anytime. Highly recommend! 💛

Jessi was wonderful. She took wonderful care of our dog, Dash, She was detailed and organized about meeting and ensuring she understood all the was required for DASH (walks, food, etc). She reached out immediately after we booked to schedule a preliminary visit so both Dash and I had an opportunity to visit with her. We look forward to working with Jessi again.

Thanks for taking care of my little girl. Taylor sent the cutest pics of my cat and took the litter out to the trash chute instead of just leaving it in my apartment trash. Kept everything clean, open communication, and gave lots of attention and play time to my cat. Would def rebook☺️
