About: My name is Sonia! I have been dog sitting and walking since 2015 and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I truly love spending time with dogs and enjoy everything from leisurely neighborhood walks to long, adventurous hikes and energetic play sessions. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I have two dogs of my own: Blossom, my sweet long-haired miniature Dachshund, and Cactus, my playful black Goldendoodle. They have given me plenty of hands-on experience with different personalities, routines, and needs. I am comfortable caring for both high- and low-energy dogs and am happy to tailor walks and activities to each dog’s individual needs. Whether your pup prefers a short stroll, a long walk, a hike, or simply some playtime and companionship, I’m happy to accommodate them. I am also comfortable administering medications and following specific care instructions, feeding schedules, exercise routines, and other special requests. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, loved, and well cared for while you’re away! I’m available all day, every day for the next six weeks! Beginning in late September, I’ll be available weekdays after 2:00 PM and all day on weekends. I’m happy to work with your schedule and provide plenty of flexibility for your pet’s needs. When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs or routines your pet has. I’m happy to give your pets plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and enrichment while also respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home with your pets, so I’ll treat both your home and your animals with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident knowing your pets are happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, as young as 5 months. I've also taken care of cats and livestock. I'm happy to watch puppies or senior dogs in need of medication. I can be patient with fearful pets and give them their space. I've worked as a stall cleaner, and I've been house sitting since 2021. I've also volunteered cleaning dog kennels at a shelter. I'm starting to do some photography so I'm available majority of the day, aside from occasional errands or meetups. I can do most photography work right from your home. I do my best to keep your pets on their regular schedule. When house sitting, I follow all the client's rules and respect how the house runs, and do my best to keep to your pet's schedule. Depending on preference, I'm happy to send pictures and updates each day.

About: I pet sat for friends and neighbors all through my teens, including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, sugar gliders, and birds. During/after college, I worked in several dog daycare and boarding facilities, as well as keeping private pet sit clients through word of mouth. I have experience with puppies, medically fragile dogs, and multi-pet households. My own family pets required insulin daily, so I’m familiar with injections as well. Over the last 9 years, I’ve lived in Colorado and have only pet sat for friends and family, but am looking forward to spending more of my time with animals and helping to provide peace of mind for their families. Right now I am a full time stay at home mom for our pets as I’m in between part time jobs. Looking for an opportunity to make this work my main work, which means I have no scheduling conflicts that would prevent me from checking on your babies! I have lots of experience with dog handling and walking strong/big/escape artist dogs. I always prefer to have two modes of leash/harness/etc attached to any pet I’m walking if possible, and would love to know what works best for your pet and their needs. I also have an escape artist cat at home that I have lots of experience keeping inside the house even when she’s trying to make a run for it through any cracked door. My goal is to make any interaction with your pets feel as calm and safe to them as if you were there instead.

About: I can never remember a time I haven’t had dogs in my life. whether it was my own, neighbors or distant relatives I have taken care of dogs in many instances. I am starting college where I will be a student athlete which will make it difficult to always help but on weekends and a few times during the week I can fit pet care into my schedule. I am currently not working since my child is on summer break so I will be available to drop in and check on your fur babies almost anytime! Since I’ll be coming to your house, keeping your home secure and your pets safe is my top priority. Here is how I'll handle it: ​Respecting your space: I always double-check that doors and gates are locked tight when I leave, and I keep a close eye out for things like loose cords or stray snacks. ​Safe walks: Your dog stays on a leash, and I stay fully aware of our surroundings the entire time. ​Watching the weather: If it’s scorching or freezing, we'll swap the long walk for some fun indoor playtime so paws don't get burned or frozen. ​Emergency ready: I’ll grab your vet’s info before you leave. If anything ever seems off with your pet, I’ll text you right away.
