Upon meeting Amy she is very nice and energetic so I figure she would be a great fit for my Doggo‘s. My girl Dog just had her nail removed so I really wanted to hire someone that would be able to watch the dogs thoroughly especially with her having a cone on and having instructions from the vet to keep her paw, clean and dry. For the most part, we aren’t really sure how the carr went considering we weren’t really given updates throughout the day. I had to reach out to Amy directly and ask her how the dogs were doing. With the knowledge of us having cameras in our home I was able to see that on one occasion I don’t know if there was more that my girl didn’t have her cone on, which was something I specifically instructed her to make sure she had on at all times due to her paw, my girl ended up chewing her paw pretty raw. Upon my arrival of coming home from my wedding, my dog was left with a silicone boot on which caused her to not have circulation to her paw upon taking the boot off. My dog was in extreme pain. Her paw was probably the size of a tennis ball and I ended up having to take her to the vet. I know I had specifically told her not to keep the boot on. On another occasion, Amy had informed me that she was going to a event the next night and would not be able to care for the dogs and asked if we had a friend that would come in and help. Luckily, our friend was able to come in and help, but I just felt as though we’re paying you if that’s the case then we should get money back for you not being in the home providing a service. Due to us also never getting any updates upon coming home. I wasn’t aware that my dogs didn’t have food. I wasn’t aware of really anything that went on with my dogs. I know that I gave her detailed instructions and maybe that’s my fault for not telling her to give us daily updates on the dogs, but I’ve also dogs sat before And knew it was common to tell people how their dogs are doing when you’re watching them. Overall glade our dogs are alive and well but would’ve preferred to not have to do a vet visit upon return and have to worry as much as I did.
