Information Tess A. would like to know about your pet

To ensure the best care for your pet, it’s important to know any dietary restrictions, medical conditions, medications or supplements needed, behavioral quirks or challenges, and preferences ahead of time. Additionally, please share your pet’s daily routine, any special needs, and emergency contact information so that I can provide the best possible care.

A typical day

Each visit is intentionally designed to keep your pet calm, comfortable, and engaged—not overstimulated. I start by observing your pet’s energy and adjusting the visit to what they need that day. Some pets benefit from movement and enrichment, while others need a quieter, more relaxed experience. Visits typically include a combination of structured potty breaks, enrichment activities, and calm interaction. I incorporate things like sniffing opportunities, food-based enrichment, and engagement that supports mental stimulation without creating unnecessary excitement. For pets who enjoy it, I provide hand-prepared enrichment options such as frozen stuffed Kongs or seasonal treats, along with safe chew options when permitted. These are designed to keep pets occupied, relaxed, and fulfilled. I avoid chaotic or overstimulating environments, and I do not do on-leash dog-to-dog interactions. My focus is on creating a calm, low-stress experience where your pet can feel safe and settled. Every visit is tailored to your pet’s routine and comfort level, so they’re not just cared for—they’re supported in a way that helps them feel their best. For an additional fee of $35, I can also include intentional enrichment tools designed to reduce stress and support calm behavior.

Elevated Pet Care & Training

Pet care experience

I provide behavior-focused, enrichment-based pet care designed to help dogs feel calm, safe, and understood. This isn’t basic pet sitting—it’s a thoughtful, structured approach built around your pet’s emotional well-being. With extensive experience in dog behavior and training, I focus on the small details others often miss. My approach centers on emotional regulation, structure, and purposeful enrichment—because a calm, fulfilled dog is a happy dog. Each visit is tailored to your pet’s individual needs, not a one-size-fits-all routine. Your pet receives calm, consistent care, one-on-one attention, and enrichment activities designed to keep them mentally engaged and emotionally balanced. I also provide hand-prepared enrichment and nutritional support at no additional charge, including frozen stuffed Kongs, seasonal treats like watermelon, digestive support such as pumpkin and probiotics, and long-lasting chew options when permitted. These are thoughtfully selected to support both mental stimulation and overall well-being. To ensure reliable, attentive care, I maintain a smaller service area. This allows me to be consistent, present, and fully focused during each visit—no rushing and no overbooking. You’ll never be left wondering how your pet is doing. I provide thoughtful updates and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. My services are especially well-suited for anxious or sensitive dogs, senior pets, dogs who benefit from structure and routine, multi-pet households, and pet owners who are looking for more than just the basics. If you’re looking for a higher standard of care, I’d love to connect and learn more about your pet.
