I work full time as an independent worker with Rover and other various delivery jobs (Instacart, DoorDash, etc.) My schedule is very flexible and I can basically travel anywhere in the greater Springs area to provide service. During a booking, I adjust my schedule to match the needs/wants the client has for their home and pets. Rover clients are my first priority always!

My philosophy as a sitter is that I'm not only here to provide pet care, but care to your home overall. I really call myself a house sitter and your pets are just a significant part of your home. Your pets will be my highest priority, of course, but I'm here to maintain your home, protect it, and leave it better than I received. This value is something that was instilled in me from a young age in my home and later solidified with my service in the armed forces. As a traveler, I'm only filled with gratitude at the opportunity to be in your home so I reflect that with providing the highest quality service I can during my stay!

My approach to spending the day with your pet is just doing what they love to do. If that's laying around and getting pets and scratches all the way to running around the neighborhood or going to a dog park to play fetch, I'm down for it!

My family has always had animals in the house, particularly cats, though I have helped care for dogs many times as well. I also did 4-H in my teenage years working with farm animals. I've been with Rover now since December of 2021 and have been providing service consistently since then!

We had a great experience with Rycheigh! We originally booked him for about 8 hours while we planned to ride the cog railway up Pikes Peak, but it ended up being canceled last minute due to weather at the summit. Thankfully, we already had Rycheigh scheduled, which gave us the flexibility to pivot and spend the day exploring Manitou Springs and doing a few other things that weren’t pet-friendly. Marty and Simon were happy to see him right away, which always puts us at ease. He also kept us updated with pictures throughout the day, which we really appreciated and made it easy to relax and enjoy ourselves. We’d absolutely book with Rycheigh again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone reliable, communicative, and great with pets!

Rycheigh took great care of our Sterling during a short weekend. He made sure to keep us updated, and he kept the house clean. Sterling got along great with him and we look forward to having him sit Sterling again soon.
