About: I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by animals—growing up with five amazing dogs, two cats, and recently pet-sitting my brother’s cat and her litter of five kittens when I visit family. I’ve learned how to raise, train, and care for animals deeply and intentionally. When we had chickens, I remember training my dog to gently herd them back into the coop while my cat stood watch like a little guardian. I also recall how our dogs and cats would sense when one of my family members—whether my siblings, mom, dad, or grandma—was feeling down and would go over to comfort them. That’s when I realized how smart and intuitive animals can be when we trust and guide them. Over the years, I’ve gained experience dog-sitting for my mom’s friends, caring for my roommates’ cats, and providing care for a friend’s service dog. I’m comfortable with animals of all temperaments and needs, and I always approach each one as a unique soul with their own personality and rhythms. I also know how to bathe both dogs and cats with care and patience (yes, even the cats!). About: I enjoy dogs more than people. When I used to live on Guam, there was a period i was watching 4 dogs, 2 of which were mine. One happened to be a pit bull, and another happened to be rottweiler. The other 2 were medium sized. Now, that I am no longer in Guam I have 3 dogs that me and my wife take care of. I have my 2 from Guam. I havent been around all types of dogs, but I really enjoy them all. I find their different personalities and their energy levels interesting. I enjoy walking my dogs, so I think it would be fun to walk other peoples dogs. When I’m not working and time permits, i like taking my pups hiking in the mountains with me. Thank you for checking out my profile ! I walk my three girls at least five days a week. And when I have a day off, i love taking them into the mountains. Each dog is different. Different pup parents have different plans for their babies, so their rules come first. But if permitted, i would love to share the same trails I explore with our four legged partners.

About: My family has had dogs for my entire life and I don't think that I would be who I am without them. I have lots of experience caring for both my dogs and other friends and family's pets as well. I am also a big soccer player, so I love getting my runs or walks in with my dogs! I currently work part time in Colorado Springs, so I will have lots of time to care for your pets. I also have my own car so transportation will never be an issue. About: Hi, I'm Dan! My best buddy Yama was born in January of 2019, he is now a seven year old good boy. I am a former Army infantry medic and am attending graduate school remotely from my house. I grew up on a farm in Oregon where I was surrounded with all sorts of animals from a young age. I love all animals, especially dogs. My style is fairly permissive, especially with other people's dogs, but I am clear on boundaries, redirect when needed, and give lots of love and positive energy. I don't buy into the dominance theory training methodology and am a big fan of Karen Pryor's training methods. I am happy to answer any questions you have on my philosophy. I live and work at home, so we do daily walks, play time in the backyard, mental enrichment activities, and low active / layabout sessions. I work from home full-time, so your dog is never left alone for long and always has eyes on them throughout the day. My home has a securely fenced yard, and I take introductions between dogs slowly and intentionally, reading body language carefully before giving anyone free run of the space. My seven year old dog Yama is a steady, positive presence who helps visiting dogs settle in. I use positive reinforcement exclusively because a dog that feels safe and understood is a dog that behaves safely. If anything ever seems off medically or behaviorally, I'll contact you promptly - that being said, that hasn't ever happened.

About: A Labrador was my first baby - then followed the humans and more Labradors...and a few guinea pigs. Classroom teacher by trade and full-time animal lover. Overnights are available and my schedule is very free during the summer. Clients dictate their needs and what is asked for is followed. Peace of mind is what I want for the humans. This varies by pet but I am an active hiker and familiar with area dog parks. I also couldn't imagine having someone I didn't trust in my home. Following the owner instructions and keeping pets safe and happy is my job.
