I have been doing Rover since 2021 and have been enjoying it! This is my full time job. I've always been a lover of animals, no matter what they may be. Upon trusting me with your pet(s), I promise to love them as if they were my own and ensure they receive the best care under my watch. I have quite a bit of experience with animals of all kinds, as I have either owned them myself at one point, or have cared for them as a client - this includes exotics like birds, reptiles, and fish. I do my best to communicate everything that happens, good and bad, and I will never venture outside of your home with your pet unless they are leashed and secured. I do have experience with reactive dogs, and would prefer to come meet them beforehand so we can go over what I would need to know to continue whatever training or rehab they may be undergoing, as well as keeping their safety in mind. I do not do overnight stays or boarding as I have my own pets to take care of as well as other responsibilities, and would like to encourage you to find another sitter that does offer that service as opposed to booking a ton of drop in visits over several days. My rates for drop-ins are priced the way they are to accommodate for the gas needed to get to your home. It'll definitely save you some money going that route. :) However, please don't be rude and ghost me after sending me a request. This is my full time job and it's disrespectful of my time and energy. I would like to encourage you to do the math yourself if you do want to request multiple drop-in visits because I understand Rover doesn't show you the full amount before submitting the request for some reason, and if it happens to fall on a holiday, I'm more than happy to fix the price for you since Rover will try to apply the holiday rate to every visit instead of just the day it should apply to. I try to be reasonable!
