About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my commitment to providing patient, dependable, and personalized care. I treat every pet like family. I also have open availability on weekends and can be flexible to accommodate your pet’s routine and needs. I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust with every pet I care for. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, maintain their normal feeding, walking, and medication routines, and make sure pets are always supervised and secure. “Skyler has been super reliable and helpful for months and this week she stepped up and helped us out during some surprising family events. She went above and beyond and we felt so grateful to know she was there to take care of our pup!! Thank you Skyler!”

About: I bring a personal, hands-on approach to every pup I care for because I’ve grown up doing just that. I’ve helped take care of my family’s dogs over the years, especially medium-sized breeds that needed regular grooming, cleaning, and daily medication. That experience taught me not just responsibility but also the little things that make dogs feel safe and cared for, like a calm voice, consistent routines, and lots of patience. Whether your dog needs a gentle hand for brushing, a steady schedule for medications, or just a buddy for walks and playtime, I’m ready to show up with care, reliability, and genuine love for animals. I am new to the Colorado Springs area and live near UCCS. I am taking some time to enjoy the mountains and have plenty of room in my schedule to take care of furry friends. When caring for a pet inside someone else’s home, I treat both the space and the animal with the utmost respect. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, from feeding and walking schedules to house rules and preferred routines. I make sure to clean up after myself and the pet, leaving everything as tidy—or tidier—than I found it. I understand how important it is to use familiar items like bowls, leashes, toys, and litter to help pets feel comfortable and secure. Whether the animal is playful and cuddly or more independent, I pay attention to their cues and make sure they feel safe and cared for. Throughout the visit, I keep the owner updated with photos, messages, and honest communication so they can feel completely at ease while they’re away.

“Remy was fantastic with our boy. Gave him twice daily walks and tired him out. We appreciate you so much, Remy. Loved the twice daily pics of our Charlie. Definitely will use her again!”

About: I am a mother of 4 children and one Chihuahua-Miniature Pinscher named Pepperoni (we call her ‘Roni’) and a cat named Dexter. I have been a pet owner for many years and have had a passion for animals all my life. In my experiences I’ve found that animals can generally sense a friendly person, and most pets I come in contact with quickly become comfortable with my demeanor. I am happy to be able to care for animals and give pet owners comfort in knowing their dear family members are being genuinely loved and cared for! It’s a wonderful and exciting time in my life that I am able to incorporate my passion for animals into my “work” and still be available for my family. I have cared for many different animals, rabbits, birds, fish, bearded dragons and hamsters. I am comfortable giving medications as well. I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. My children are now all adults and planning to attend college. I am very active in general so I love fitting additional dog walks in! I am an active person who enjoys anything outdoors. I like to discover and explore hiking destinations with my family, as well as camping and backpacking. Spending time with my family, Roni and Dexter is a typical weekend for me.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
