About: I take care of my dog at home, had her for 4 years now, but also grew up always having dogs and one cat. I love animals and have really enjoyed having my own to take care of these past 4 years as well. I have pet sat for my sister and her 2 dogs and 6 cats and a church friend for her 6 cats. If you have a fenced yard, I love playing with dogs out back, I don’t ever like leaving them out there to play by themselves. This includes stop in and overnight visits. However, I do not have any “professional” skills such as training pets properly. The second most appealing part of this job is that it allows flexibility. Since I’m not in school right now, my schedule is very open. I think it’s important to read the pets body language and personality. Many pets are anxious and uncomfortable being around new people.
