About: I am a lifetime pet owner, and pet lover. I have experience with both dogs and cats. I'm available to be your fur-baby’s drop-in grandmother. I am a local retired elementary teacher. I continue to serve the Castle Rock/Larkspur/Franktown community by substitute teaching, tutoring, house cleaning, and pet sitting. I live nearby, and my daily schedule is adjusted to meet the needs of my clients. My visits begin with a calm, friendly greeting, followed by playtime, cuddles, and ear or belly scritches. I will feed and give meds as needed. I will walk your pet, or play in the yard. I can also bring in the mail/packages, or water plants or do other simple quick tasks if you need me to. I can give you photo updates, or a text. I will check the environment to make sure that your pet is safe before I leave.

About: Hello! I am skilled in handling and caring for many different types of animals, including cats, dogs, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits and even some reptiles and birds. I have mostly done pet sitting for friends and neighbors. I love animals and have two cats and one dog of my own. I also grew up on my family's farm caring for and managing many of the farm tasks there. I have time throughout the day to care for your pets when you need me to! I care for your babies the same way I would care for my own. Pet care has become a big part of my life, I make sure to keep my schedule as open as possible so I have time to meet all of your fur baby's needs. Safety is of the utmost importance to me, if I feel a situation is unsafe for your pet I will reroute plans to a safer option. One of the things I do to ensure safety is to build trust with your pet. This helps in the event that we are met with an unsafe situation, it can enable me to lead your pet out of that situation in a more calm and reassuring way. It is important to me to always keep an eye out in any environment to further safeguard from potential dangers. One example of how I do this is when I take my cat for a walk, He loves walks but is just a 6 pound little guy so I have to be very careful to keep an eye out for dogs, birds, and any other potential dangers to him.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life. Mostly dogs but a cat here and there as well. I find dogs to be genuine souls who are a persons true best friend. They bring out our authentic selves as well as showing us what true love is about. I love giving them the attention and care they need and deserve. Animals are like children in so many ways! Let me show your furry ones my love and attention! My full time job is a split shift during the week! I would be happy to help walk your dogs or play with them! I’m available Mondays- Thursdays (11-1), and Fridays (11-2), Saturday and Sunday’s (10:30-4) or over nights as well. Available most holidays! About: I have grown up having lots of pets on our land. Including working/hunting dogs. This has taught me how to be an authority for strong willed dogs while still maintaining trust. I have had at least one cat for as long as I can remember and love them all very much. I have always loved caring for and training animals. As I’ve gotten older I have become known as the one to go to if you were planning a trip and needed reliable animal sitter. I have taken care of not only my own animals but those of my neighbors and friends from church for several years. I have experience with strong willed dogs that need consistent training and attention. I have a sweet little Chiweenie of my own and I love him very much! I’ve had him for four years now, and am no stranger to middle of the night wake up calls, medication administration, basic wound care, and long walks/hikes. I am currently working part time at in-n-out but I would like to eventually transition to full time pet sitting. As of right now I will need two weeks notice to request time off work for long term jobs but will eventually have a much more flexible schedule. I will give your pets all my love and attention as if they were my own. I will ensure the constant and highest possible level of care for you sweet little babies, just as I would want someone to care for my own fur baby.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s been lucky enough to share my home with incredible pups my entire life-from a cocker spaniel mix, a couple pittbull's, shepard mixes, a Weimaraner, a bernese mix, you get the idea. I've been exposed to lots of different breeds and temperaments. These days, my English Cream Golden Retriever Amanda is my baby. She is 5, so she's kind of at that perfect age where she can be calm or playful depending on what's going on that day. Honestly though, she's basically always been a really good girl so I can't really take the credit. She's my first golden and she's very very special. We would love to welcome your pup(s) into our home while you're away. I got really lucky with Amanda, she has never met a dog that she didn't get along with. Large or small, quiet and subdued, or playful and vocal- she loves them all. I take a lot of pride in making your dog feel as comfortable and loved as possible in this home environment. When you dog stays here they are treated like family. I don't board multiple dogs at once (unless of course they are from the same home), just your dog and Amanda. I don't ever crate my boarders unless you specifically ask me to for some reason, dogs here are encouraged to get comfy on the couch or in the bed. I also am always home with your pup, I don't leave them alone. I fully intend to spoil your pup with all the but skritches and tummy rubs they want. Your pup will get at least one walk everyday and will be kept mentally stimulated with puzzles, toys, and slow feeders- and of course Amanda loves to play if they are open to it. If not she knows when to give them space. We have plenty of dog beds around the house if your pup prefers and if they're a little one we have stairs so they still have access to the bed. The yard is fenced and Amanda is really good about teaching them to use the doggie door. I also make sure to toilet them every few hours during the day and right before bed. I know I don't have a ton of reviews on here but that is because I'm new to Rover, not new to dog sitting. You can trust me with your pup. I promise. I know it's scary trusting someone new. I was a travel nurse for a long time and frequently used dog walkers and dog sitters so my pups wouldn't suffer through my long shifts. I know what it's like trying to pick the right match for your best friend. Feel free to reach out and ask whatever questions you can think of. I offer meet and greets if you like I just ask that they not be long or during my current boarder's pick up or drop off time. I'm usually booked and I like to devote my attention to the dog I'm caring for. If you do decide to trust Amanda and I with your pup we ask that you bring their food and a few treats if they're allowed. Please let me know of any allergies or super sensitive stomachs and of course any medical conditions I should be aware of. I am super confident your dog will love it here and be way less stressed than they would be at a boarding facility or kennel. I really look forward to meeting you and your pup! This is my only focus right now so my schedule is only limited by who books me first! Whenever I have a guest pup in my home I am always home with them. They are never ever in a crate or locked outside. Your pup will be living their best life in our spacious three-story home where dogs are not just allowed on the furniture, they’re encouraged. We have a secure fenced yard for playtime or potty and I am home 24/7 to give belly rubs, toss a ball, or just hang on the couch for a good snuggle session. We’re a dog only household-no kids or cats to worry about so your fury friend will get our full attention and plenty of space to relax. My pup Amanda will act as doggie ambassador. She is a five-year-old English cream golden retriever who thinks everyone is her new best friend. She is extremely well socialized and gentle. I even had a meet and greet the other day where the little pup kept barking at her and trying to bite her muzzle. Amanda just turned her head to the side and looked to me for guidance. I am blessed to have her and she does a great job of showing your pup around the house and how things work. Think of her as the ultimate welcoming committee whether your dog wants a buddy to romp around with or prefers to claim their own spot on the couch, they’ll feel right at home here. It’s basically a sleepover camp, where the snacks are plenty of and the naps and snuggles are mandatory.

About: As a person who cares deeply about animal welfare, and has had experience with all kinds of them, I am jumping at the idea of taking care of your precious pets! Over the last 15 years, I have owned numerous pets, worked on farms since I was little, and have worked professionally in pet-care. I know first-hand how important the details are when it comes to furry (and not furry) friends! I would be more than honored to take care of your pets and treat them just a gently as I treat my own!🐾❤️ While pet-care is no longer my profession, I still treat it as such in my day to day life! While I help take care of both of our family dogs, I also frequently pet-sit for friends and family as often as I can! About: I have had and taken care of different kinds of animals my entire life and I’ve loved every bit of it. I have house sat/ pet sat multiples times before and I love meeting new animals. I currently work part time as a caregiver for seniors and commute to MSU Denver twice a week for college. As of right now I do not have a set schedule for work. I care for my pets the way they need to be cared for individually. My family’s has three dogs of different ages and sizes. Seamus is age 12 and medium size, Ellie is age 6 and large and, Scarlet is age 1 and extra small size.
