I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s been lucky enough to share my home with incredible pups my entire life-from Cocker spaniel mixes to pitbull’s, shepherds, and a Weimaraner who was the definition of a Velcro lap dog. These days, my golden retriever Amanda is my copilot. All of my pups have taught me that every dog deserves a walk that’s perfectly tailored to their personality. Whether your pup needs a power walk to burn off that zoomy energy or a leisurely sniff every bush stroll to really take in the neighborhood, I’ll match their pace and make sure they have the best time. I’m a responsible adult who will treat every dog like they’re my own.-which means lots of praise, patience, and all of the ridiculous butt scratches and baby talk. I’ve been a wag customer for years so I have the empathy and understanding to keep your dog’s safety as my top priority. I’m strong and experienced enough to handle even the most enthusiastic pullers, and I know from experience that a tired dog is a good and happy dog. Let me help give your pup the exercise, love, and enrichment they crave. I’m really looking forward to meeting your best friend! Caring for others -animals included- is my only focus right now so my schedule is only limited by who books me first! Whenever I have a guest pup in my home I am always home with them. They are never ever in a crate or locked outside. Your pup will be living their best life in our spacious three-story home where dogs are not just allowed on the furniture, they’re encouraged. We have a secure fenced yard for playtime or potty and someone is home 24/7 to give belly rubs, toss a ball, or just hang on the couch for a good snuggle session. We’re a dog only household-no kids or cats to worry about so your fury friend will get our full attention and plenty of space to relax. Our resident ambassadors are Heidi a five-year-old weimaraner and Amanda a five-year-old English cream golden retriever who thinks everyone is her new best friend. Both silly girls are well socialized, gentle and love having houseguests to play with. Think of them as the ultimate welcoming committee whether your dog wants a buddy to romp around with or prefers to claim their own spot on the couch they’ll feel right at home here. It’s basically a sleepover camp, where the snacks are plenty of and the naps and snuggles are mandatory.

About: Hello, my name is Robyn (he/they) and I have more than 15 years of pet care experience, a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, and am a certified pet trainer. I have worked for 3 years training horses with positive reinforcement, and have 6+ years of experience clicker training dogs. I am responsible, educated in animal behavior and cognition, communicative with both pets and owners, empathetic, and patient. I can guarantee that I will treat your pet with respect and love while they need it most. I have taken care of a number of different breeds of dogs and have loved all of them, from miniature schnauzers to mastiffs. I have previously owned a great dane, a labrador retriever, and a boerboel mix. I have also owned or cared for horses, turtles, fish, geckos, lizards, rats, hamsters, chickens, rabbits and chinchillas. I have studied wild spotted hyena behavior in Kenya and domestic animal behavior in the US, and have experience training trouble dogs in California. I have worked with both sport horses and backyard horses. I also have experience working with captive socialized wolves at Wolf Park in Battle Ground, IN, using positive reinforcement training to form bonds with them and make their stay in captivity that much easier. I have also used positive reinforcement training on mustangs, elephants, dogs, and other horses, among other animals, while providing care. I currently work doing animal care jobs, so I have plenty of time to devote to your pups! I have my own dog that I can care for between clients, or if your dogs are friendly and you'd like them to socialize, my pup could always come with me! Pet care is what my life has been about for many years, and I'm happy to care for yours! I always respect my clients' space and the animal's needs. I will follow any typical routines or rules you have in your home and try to keep things as familiar and consistent for your dog as possible. If your dog likes novelty, I can take them to safe, dog-friendly locations if you're interested in that.

About: I’ve been trusted with caring for friends, family, and neighbors dogs for 11 years. I have 3 dogs, and I am comfortable with seniors, puppies, and implementing training that might be requested. I enjoy walking, exploring new neighborhoods, and making sure pet are comfortable and safe in new neighborhoods. I am currently on the job hunt, so I am available for pet care all the time! I am searching for a full time job, with volunteer opportunities, but currently I am available consistently. I treat every pet like they are my own. About: I have over 40 years worth of experience taking care of and owning all types, breeds and ages of dogs and cats including administering any medications I am a self employed personal trainer and work out of my home so I typically have a lot of flexibility whether that's keeping an eye on your pet at my house or checking in on them at yours. I have a big fenced in yard, a dog run and dog doors that lead into the dog run. We also live on a cul de sac with very little traffic. There are cameras set up around the perimeter of the yard and home so eyes are on the animals at all times.

About: Have been taking care of my own dog for the past 6 years and have also watched over dogs for friends and for the family. I am working part time so have time to stop by and take care or your puppers. Available after 11 a.m in till 4 p.m I don’t have the best apartment space for dog sitting. I managed a high volume commercial dog boarding facility for 4 years and have had upwards of 80 dogs in my care at once. This experience led me to understand dog body language very well, how to make friends with dogs that aren't so eager (while still respecting boundaries and comfort levels), and how to ensure each dog gets the individualized care they need. Managing the facility also gave me extensive experience caring for dogs or all kinds, including elderly, special needs, high energy, etc. I have years of experience administering all types of medications and catering to specific schedules. Despite everything I learned at the boarding facility, my biggest takeaway was how much more beneficial small scale boarding and home settings are for dogs when they are away from their own families. I'm available during the week, including during "normal" working hours, as well as weekends and holidays. Very flexible with my scheduling, including off-hours care if needed. I spend most of my free time with my own dog hiking, walking, playing at the lake or park, and training.
