Hannah has been excellent to work with! She is very flexible and sends great updates on how her walks went that day. My dog Freyja loves their walks together and I definitely recommend using her services if you need someone reliable to get your pup out and about for a walk when you’re at work!

About: I grew up taking care of dogs and absolutely love them. Our pets are a part of our family. I think they should be loved and cared for while their owners are away and not put into a cage for the weekend. This causes stress and anxiety! Why should we be having all of the fun our pets deserve a normal weekend while we are away! I enjoy being outside and taking our dogs for walks and playing fetch! I also enjoy just snuggling up with our pup and watching a movie! I will take care of your dog like it is my own so you can have fun and not worry while you're on vacation! I am dependable and honest. Call me for your next vacation!

About: I have over 4 years of experience in pet sitting, including caring for dogs with higher medical and daily care needs such as seizures, senior care, and medication administration. I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats and genuinely love working with animals of all ages and temperaments. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages, but have a personal love and soft spot for big dogs. I offer in-home stays, drop-in visits, and extended care ranging from day-long to month-long bookings. I’m a college student with full availability over the summer, so your pet(s) will be my top priority at all times. I am free both weekends and weekdays. I’ll be able to consistently care for your animals with regular walks, feeding, medication if needed, and lots of attention and care. I am an animal lover through and through; when I am with your pets, I will be constantly monitoring for safety and a positive environment. I follow each pet’s routine, ensure they are in a secure environment, and provide attentive supervision. I also have experience with both dog walking and in-home stays, and I adapt my care to meet each pet’s individual needs.

About: I’ve house and pet sat around the world (mostly Colorado, UK, and EU) for everything from cats to puppies and hares to hound dogs: peacocks, a nd birds on occasion, too… I work remotely and am able to go pretty much anywhere as long as there is a decent internet connection. My family had mostly dogs and cats, but I’ve watched ranches with a huge menagerie of animals too Especially for dogs I walk and play with them multiple times a day and for cats I let them tell me what to do along with the regular watering, feeding, and cleaning litter boxes…

About: I am 21 years old, going into my senior year of college, I currently have 2 dogs (Koda is a 1 year old Yorkie mix, Lacy is a 5 year old mutt). I have been around pets my whole life (older, puppies, big and small). I like to play fetch, tug of war, work on commands, play in general, go on walks and being outside. I can work with any type of schedule. The dogs are kept on their schedules with feeding times and when to let them out per owner's recommendations. I'm willing to drive 25-30 miles to care for your pet. I like to keep active which helps with walking and playing with any pet. If requested, I can work during school breaks (thanksgiving, winter, spring) I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time in the afternoon on weekdays. The only time I can’t work are the weekends unless I have them off. My backyard is fenced off. About every 30-45 minutes I let them out to go do their business or run around. Then I let them stay out a little longer if they’re enjoying themselves. Then bring them back in.

I follow directions about where pets are allowed to be within the home to make sure everything stays the same as you left it! About: Hello, my name is Erika and I want to care for your dog! Ever since I can remember my family has had dogs as pets. I also have my own pup who has separation anxiety and some behavioral needs; so I have experience on how to care for a dog and their needs. Being active and walking or playing fetch with puppers is one of my favorite things to do, but I also know how to have a ‘good boy’ cuddle session to give your best friend the attention they need! Feel free to message me to ask any questions or book a time. I do work at a hospital, so it is difficult for me to have a consistent schedule. I would be a better fit for those looking for an every now and then walker, those going on vacation, or want their dogs walked a few days a week I greet each pupper as if they were my own fur baby; warm and welcoming. During walks I am always alert and aware of my surroundings to help maintain a sense of safety for dogs so they can truly enjoy their walk and not feel like they have to be a protector.

As of July 2026, there are 10,403 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Twin Cedars. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Twin Cedars. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Twin Cedars.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Twin Cedars. On Rover:

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
