About: I love all animals espicially dogs. Growing up we always had a dog, and as an adult, I have had my own dog. It's not a chore for me to give love and attention to an animal, it truly makes me happy. I know how important it is for an animal to get enough attention, get the right care, and have positive interactions with people and pets. I worked at the Humane Society for years and currently work remotely with a somewhat flexible schedule. I'm responsible and would make sure your beloved pet gets the best care by taking them on walks, playing at the park, or just checking in on them in your home. About: I've had dogs most of my life and truly love walking them and playing with them. I have a full time job, but just do this for fun. It truly is the best part of my day when I get to hang out with one of your great dogs. I have a full-time, weekly job. I can be available before/after work or during lunch if it is close enough to my house. I'm available most weekends. I have two dogs who love other dogs. I also have cats who could care less about dogs. We go for walks and play in the backyard. Any dogs that stay with us will have a lot of fun in a safe environment. I work from home so am here most of the time and am only gone for less than an hour at a time.

“Melissa has watched over my dogs and pets (reptiles & fish) on a couple occasions. She is not only extremely knowledgeable when it comes to animals but she is great with dog behavior and training too she always goes above and beyond. My one dog is very skiddish and reactive and she did amazing slowly working with him and keeping me updated while I was away and she cared for him. Having someone come to your home and care after your animals is a scary idea at first but I was 100% comfortable with her and very satisfied with her care and service. I also have seen her walk several other families dogs and also go above and beyond to work with the owners and their dogs, even helping them with training and behavioral concerns. She is fantastic!”

About: I live in Lakewood. We do not currently have a dog, but are both dog lovers! I am the fun & outdoorsy type that will keep your dog active and engaged throughout EACH day! Whether that be going on a run, hiking, or just playing some fetch in the park - I'll make sure they are getting the attention every dog needs! I also have training skills if your dog is having trouble in some areas - I can help! I've had dogs/cats/pigs/horses, you name it I've worked with them. I grew up on a farm and enjoyed living and working with animals on a daily basis. I have open availability and can be flexible! We live in a house just a short walk to a park, which is great for dogs! Our house has a big backyard great for your pup! I run a business from home, so I am home most days. If I need to go up to the mountains, I can always bring your pup with me for a great outdoor adventure! I have a big fenced in backyard. It is great for dogs! I have my friends dog over all the time and they love running around and playing fetch!

We are away for 6 weeks starting every December and Emily always cares for Sammy. Emily is a kind, caring and extremely compassionate human, she has become one of our family. She is soft spoken and gentle with a super sense of humor. Anyone would be lucky to have her sit for their pets. We would be happy to speak to anyone that is considering Emily to sit for their pet.
