About: I’ve been raising, fostering and rescuing dogs for the past 13 years. I’ve been through all the dog life stages and dealt with all varieties of dog behavioral and medical issues. Everyone I know says that in their next life they want to come back as one of my dogs-spoiled to no end! I work for myself and mostly from home so I am very flexible with my schedule and my ability to spend a lot of quality time with you dog. Also, I have about 10 fenced in acres up in the mountains that is a great place to bring you pup for some off leash playtime if that’s something you’re interested in I have a lot of space in my home and also over 10 fenced in acres to explore (with supervision, of course). Outdoor play/ walk time at my house can be on or off lease depending on what you are most comfortable with

About: I grew up with big dogs all my life (mastiffs specifically), which sparked my love for animals. From about May 2021 to August 2022 I fostered rescue animals, and in that time, I was able to help ~50 different animals. How did I do that exactly? Well, my house was a small shelter, as some people liked to call it, we had an open-door policy for any animal in need. With that being said, I have had experience with big dogs, small dogs, energetic dogs, reactive dogs, scared dogs, tripods, entire herds of puppies and kittens etc. There really was not a dog I couldn't handle, and I loved them all. Now I foster for a big dog rescue so my specialty is the XL doggies. I have a Great Dane foster fail of my own now. In addition, I have had endless experience giving dogs/cats medicine and know every dog has their quirks, so really nothing will surprise me or be too much. While your dog plays or goes potty, I’ll stay outside with them to ensure no one tries to escape or gets overly feisty. I’m also mindful of maintaining a hazard-free environment by keeping items like toxic plants, choking hazards, or unsafe materials out of reach. Every dog has unique quirks, so I’ll always ask about your pup’s personality and the best ways to accommodate their needs. Dog walking: I prioritize safety by keeping a respectful distance from unfamiliar dogs, as it’s impossible to know how friendly or healthy they are. To keep walks engaging and fun, I like to explore different routes, providing new experiences each time. I adjust to your dog’s pace, whether they prefer a casual stroll or a brisk walk. Additionally, I allow your dog plenty of time to sniff and explore, which is mentally stimulating and helps them return home relaxed. I stay alert to ensure their surroundings are safe throughout the walk. During hot weather, I’m cautious about pavement temperatures, testing surfaces with my hand and avoiding asphalt to keep your pup comfortable and safe. Cats: For cats, safety is my top priority. If your feline friend is an escape artist, I’ll be extra vigilant to prevent any breakouts. If your cat tends to nibble on things they shouldn’t, I’ll make sure their environment is safe and free of hazards. I have experience caring for cats of all ages and needs, including administering medication when necessary. I also strive to create a calm, stress-free environment by maintaining their routine and respecting their unique preferences. Safety, Trust & Environment: I always ensure your pet’s environment is clean, comfortable, and free of hazards. Food and water bowls are refreshed regularly, and I create cozy spaces for rest and play. If I’m administering medication, I follow your instructions exactly to ensure your pet’s health and safety. Communication and trust are central to my care. I’ll provide regular updates with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I take the time to build a relationship with your pet, ensuring they feel secure and happy in my care. Whether your pet is full of energy or prefers quiet time, I tailor my approach to meet their needs and provide enrichment to keep them content.

About: My childhood dream job was to become a zookeeper. I did everything I could to get close: volunteered at animal rescues, pet sat whenever possible, interned at a vet clinic. Plot twist: despite everything, I did not end up workin g at the zoo. Instead, I became the weirdo who'd rather hangout with the pets at house parties and I've never met a furry friend I didn't like, even the "challenging" one. I've got my own little family of fur babies: been a cat mom for the last 9 years. And last year, adopted a senior dog who is a dream wrapped in floof. I don't have formal training credentials, but I am obsessed with how to tend to our furry friends with attunement and compassion. I work from home which means your pet has company most of the day and I do my best to help them feel at home wherever they are. Pet care fits naturally into my WFH routine. I'm available/ flexible throughout the day, with good weekend availability as well. I have some fixed commitments that shift week to week, but I keep my calendar current and won't book what I can't fully show up for. My home is a quiet, nature-forward neighborhood in Evergreen, nestled in the kind of place where a walk around the block feels like a small adventure. No fenced yard, but since I work from home, we make up for it with frequent neighborhood walks throughout the day. For boarding, I tailor the setup to your pet. Some dogs get full run of the space. Others do better with a slower introduction and defined zones. I follow your lead and theirs. My own crew: one very social senior dog who has a particular gift for putting nervous dogs at ease, and two cats who are more selective. If your pet and my cats need space from each other, we have the rooms to make that work comfortably. I'll always ask about your pet's needs, quirks, and preferences before they arrive. The goal is for them to feel at home.

I build my routing around feeding times, walks, play breaks, and quick check-ins. I'm used to adjusting my schedule, so pets get steady care and attention throughout the day, and I keep owner updated as I go. In my home, I create a calm, safe space. I have a 6" fenced yard for play, a pet friendly dog and cat for company, and can crate your dog if that's what they need. When I'm in a clients home, I stick closely to your pet's routine, meals, walks, meds, and lots of attention, so things feel consistent. And if your pup loves adventures, I'm just 15 minutes from Chatfield Dog Park and happy to take them out for safe, fun exercise. About me - my husband and I have owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I love animals, have plenty of experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I am home almost everyday, but I do go out on weekends for a few hours at a time. I can bring your pet along on hikes and picnics if your pet is able to join. I prefer pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended. If not, we can discuss. Crates may be needed if they are unable to roam around the house alone. I have a large property, but it is unfenced, it is far from the road and our area is very very quiet, almost zero cars. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. There is a baby gate to keep your pet away from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - no exit route. Since I am home almost all the time, I can take your pet for a walk and let them keep me company at home on the couch too! I can also come over your home and care for your pet there as needed (depends on length of stay requested).

About: I've owned dogs my whole life and am very knowledgeable of how to train and care for them. I've owned many different pets from scaly friends to furry ones, both large and small. I currently work from home so I have plenty of time for your furry friends. I have two very friendly and well trained dogs that love having company. We also have a cat that gets along very well with them. I have plenty of space in my back yard that is enclosed by a 6ft fence. We (dogs & I) go for walks and have plenty of play time during the day. I feed my girls twice a day and give them treats once in a while. Neither of my girls are food or treat aggressive. I have a couple of neighbor kids who come over and love to play with and show love to my pets. All of the pets in my home are well loved and cared for.
