About: Hi! We are Kati and Mitch, a work from home couple living with our pack in the mountains. We’ve owned and raised dogs of all shapes and attitudes and sizes, so our experience covers most ground! Our 14 year old dog is a pit who was very reactive in his prime, teaching us a lot about how to handle reactive dogs safely, but now as a sleepy senior, he’s taught us more about senior dog care. We raised our second dog from a puppy, so she taught us so much about the adorable havoc that puppies can bring! Our newest is a rescue, who was a street dog in Texas. She was very skittish and is still people-shy, so we’ve learned a lot about how to approach wary dogs, and how to break those naughty habits she learned on the streets! We love our pack so much, and we’d love to use our knowledge to love yours too! We both work from home 100% of the time, so we are home all day if you need a daycare or want to board, your pup will rarely be left alone if ever! Our schedules are flexible enough that we can easily fit in multiple drop in visits or daily walks too. We have a fully fenced in yard, a little over half an acre. Our two younger dogs would love to play with a new friend, but will also give space if yours isn’t into the rough and tumble! Our dogs are all allowed on the furniture, one sleeps in bed with us. They are the center of our attention all day, yours will be no different! :)
About: I am an animal lover that works from home, so I will always be around. I'm just looking to help you care for your pets while you are away. No complicated stuff or pricey add-ons here! About me - my husband and I have owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I love animals, have plenty of experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I often hang out in the yard as well. On some weekends I like to go hiking or boondock camping, I also enjoy visiting new places. I can bring your pet along on hikes, camping trips and picnics if your pet is able to join. It is ideal for me to care for pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended just in case I need to run errands, especially for longer bookings. If not, I can bring them with me if it is an option. Open to discussion! :) Crates are fine if they are crate trained and unable to roam around the house alone. I have a spacious 1 acre property, but it is unfenced. However it is far from the road and our area is very quiet. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets or kids. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. I have a baby gate to keep your pet safe from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - dogs love hanging out there! Since I am home a lot, I can take your pet for a walk, hang out outside or let them keep me company on the couch too! I can also come over your home and care for your pet there as needed (depends on length of stay requested).

About: With a lifetime of animal love and care, I was most recently a doggie foster parent. This gave me experience with both behavioral and medical care, and raised my personal bar for doggie care. I truly enjoy the company of animals, and working predominantly from home, my partner and I are able to take breaks for walks and drop ins as needed! We have two SWEET dogs at home - who haven't met a dog they didn't love- that could join in the walk, or we could go solo with your pups! We also have a cat that gets along very well with them. I have plenty of space in my back yard that is enclosed by a 6ft fence. We (dogs & I) go for walks and have plenty of play time during the day. I feed my girls twice a day and give them treats once in a while. Neither of my girls are food or treat aggressive. I have a couple of neighbor kids who come over and love to play with and show love to my pets. All of the pets in my home are well loved and cared for.
