About: Pet sitting is more than just a side hustle! I have been a sitter for over 5 years now, and consider all of my pet clients part of my family. Many of them have been with me since the beginning! In my care, your family will become my family. I specialize in high care and elderly dogs that need extra love and attention, but can provide stellar to all. I work full time from home, so can dedicate most of my day to activities and loving on your pets! I live on Bear Creek trail and walk it several times a day. Your pets will be hosted in a calm, clean environment. I only take on 1 family’s pets at a time, so you know they will have my undivided attention.
“Kyle has been great watching my pup! My dog has certain quirks so I get very nervous about people watching him but he’s been very accommodating and amazing at responding and re-assuring me everything is going well!”

“Definitely recommend and will use Brandi again to look after my dogs. I was able to go to work with a great sense of peace of mind knowing my fur baby was in exceptional hands. 6 stars if I could!”

“Sophie was a wonderful, attentive sitter who kept me up to date with everything going on while babysitting my dog. She provides frequent updates and photos. 10/10 would hire again”

“Lottie had so much fun with Danielle! She went to day care for the first time, three days in a row and was so excited when she recognized where she was on day 2 and 3. She’s been exhausted each day and I feel so much better about her not having to be crated all day!”

About: Hi! My name is Stefanie. I LOVE dogs! I’ve had pets for the last 27 years— 5 English Mastiffs, a beagle, a chihuahua mix and 4 cats! This last year has been hard as we have had to say goodbye to our chihuahua mix, Blu in March and just recently our last dog, our English Mastiff, Luna. My heart is a little broken, but I have so much love to give to your pet(s). I work from home and can give your pets the attention they need all day and night. I have a very large fenced back yard where they can spend time if they want, but if they prefer to be inside all day, that’s where they’ll be! I’ll follow your instructions as far as how many walks they prefer, feedings, etc. I am married and my two girls, 21 & 23 live at home and will be thrilled to love on your pets. Your pets will become a part of our family while they are in my care. Please contact me if you have any questions that I haven't answered here. Hope to hear from you soon! **PLEASE NOTE: My home provides a crate-free environment where dogs can relax and feel like part of the family. I’m best suited for dogs who are comfortable and safe being left uncrated. I work from home and am available whenever your pet needs me. My day starts early and your pet can be by my side throughout the day or hanging out solo too, whatever they prefer. I don’t have any pets right now as we had to say goodbye to our last dog over Labor Day weekend. Your pet will receive all of my care and attention and won’t need to stress about meeting any other pets.
“Glory helped me out on such short notice and took amazing care of my girl! She’s quick to respond, sends updates throughout the day, and cares so much about the dog she’s looking after. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“My 3 month old puppy Bella loved her drop-in stays with Janet! Janet has a great space for dogs including a huge backyard so the pups can safely play all day. I enjoyed the pics and videos she sent of Bella throughout the day and look forward to working with her again in the future!”

About: With years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, I offer reliable, attentive pet sitting that puts your pet’s comfort first. I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and support. I’m confident with feeding routines, long walks, and lots of playtime and affection. My goal is always to keep your pet’s daily routine consistent, make them feel secure, and give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were my own, because I know how important they are to you. Since both my partner and I work from home, pet care blends naturally into our everyday life. We love starting the day with a walk or playtime, checking in throughout the day, and ending the evening with snuggles or a relaxed wind-down. Having two people at home means there’s always someone nearby to give attention, reassurance, or a quick treat break. It never feels like work; it’s simply part of what we enjoy doing together. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment. At home, pets enjoy a structured routine with plenty of playtime, regular walks, and lots of companionship, especially since both my partner and I work from home full-time. We’re able to offer nearly constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of love throughout the day. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their established routines closely. I maintain feeding schedules, provide refreshing walks and play sessions, keep their space tidy, and send regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and secure, whether they’re staying with us or I’m visiting them in their familiar space.
“Nathan and Brooke were so quick to respond, sent me lots of photos, and made sure my energetic husky had lots of playtime during her stay. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“Makayla saved the day! Our planned sitter for the day ghosted us and Makayla was available last minute and communicated well during Margot’s visit. We’re so thankful!”

“Victoria was absolutely incredible with my dogs! Both of my pups have special needs—one wears a diaper and the other has limited mobility in her back legs—which can honestly be a lot to manage. But Victoria handled everything with so much patience, care, and genuine affection. She didn’t just meet their physical needs; she went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I could tell she was attentive and truly present with them throughout the day. It’s such a relief to find someone who not only understands the extra care required but embraces it with a kind heart. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Leyah had so much fun with Cara and her family. Their house is perfect to host a dog and she even have furry friends to tire her out during the day. I would definitely recommend them.”

“Zory and Kent are doggie sitters sent from heaven, there is not a single area where they could improve. They are so patient, accommodating, and loving to my pup. I can’t imagine better sitter out there! 100/10. THE BEST.”

“Cory did a great job with our 8 year old goldendoodle. Drop off and pickup was very smooth. We also received a photo during the stay which definitely helped as this was our first time using Rover and I was nervous leaving our pup with someone I don’t know!”

“Ryot had the best day playing with Maple. He came home happy and tired! Erica is amazing! I felt so comfortable leaving Ryot with her. She was very welcoming and spent extra time with him during a thunderstorm - which meant a lot to us. Will definitely be back - if they will have us.”

Margi and her daughter were great! We just took our dog Sable over for the day, but Margi was nice enough to take a few photos which we really appreciated. It seemed like Sable was sad to come home to an empty house since she had some dogs to hang out with there! I’d definitely book her again.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
