About: Hey I’m Makayla! I live in Lakewood with my partner, Kory, and would love to meet your pet! I have no pets in my home right now. I worked with Rover some years ago in my home state of Massachusetts. I really enjoyed it then and have been looking forward to when I had some spare time to do it again. I am working part time now and Kory works full time from home which provides flexibility. I have been surrounded by pets since I was a child and I have helped to care for friends and family’s pets for several years. I can walk, feed, care for, host and visit both dogs and cats with various sets of needs. I have experience with puppies and kittens as well as elderly or special needs pets. I am a social worker by trade but currently only working part time and my partner, Kory, works full time from home. I am pretty flexible with my schedule right now and would love to work with you to find a routine that works for everyone. I live in a two bedroom apartment with no other pets. I have plenty of space to bring your pet's favorite scratching posts, beds, toys, etc. My complex has an on site dog park, lots of open green space and it borders a park with a ton of walking trails. I’m comfortable using crates for dogs and helping with many types of special needs for both cats and dogs.

“Abigail was quick to respond and super friendly. We were visiting from out of town and couldn’t leave our dog in the hotel alone. We were attending a wedding and Abigail was able to watch our dog the 5 hours we were away. It was such a relief to know our dog was safe and happy while we were busy.
