Pet care fits very well into my daily routine. I am home every day from 2:30 PM through 8:00 AM, which allows me to provide plenty of time, attention, and supervision for boarding pets. During this time, pets receive regular playtime, walks, and lots of affection and snuggles. On weekends, I am home full-time, with only occasional errands, ensuring pets are rarely left alone. I enjoy making animals part of my daily routine and prioritizing their comfort, safety, and happiness while in my care.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I tailor care to each dog’s individual needs and routine. I have a good sized backyard with 6-foot privacy fence for secure outdoor play, with water and yard access available 24/7. Dogs are always supervised while outside. Inside my home, dogs are treated like family and are welcome anywhere I am. If your dog is crate-trained or prefers their own space, I’m happy to crate when I’m not home or follow your normal routine. At night, dogs will sleep in a kennel or in a room with me, depending on what makes them most comfortable. I have other friendly pups who love to play, but I always introduce dogs slowly and can keep pets separated if your dog prefers one-on-one attention. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I adjust care to match their personality and needs. I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own—providing a safe, loving, and structured environment so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 🐾

A typical day

Throughout the day, dogs enjoy plenty of playtime both indoors and outdoors. I have a variety of toys available, and I’m happy to play fetch or tug-of-war for dogs who enjoy it. Social dogs can also enjoy supervised playtime with other dogs, while those who prefer solo play or quiet time will have that respected. In the afternoon or evening, dogs receive a second walk through the neighborhood or nearby open areas to burn off energy and unwind. Between activities, dogs can relax in the house, nap, or hang out with me—just like they would at home. I adjust the schedule based on your dog’s age, energy level, and preferences, ensuring they have a fun, safe, and comfortable day. 🐕💛

If you want someone who truly loves animals, Margi is your person! I’ve known her and her fur and scale babies for years. She has experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, and bunnies. In addition to all her own critters, she also frequently opens her home to fosters. Lol, some of her babies are foster fails. She has such a natural connection with animals and treat every pet like family. She's patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoys spending time making sure pets feel safe and happy. I have a large (hyper) active dog with separation anxiety. When we had out of state funerals, Margi kept my girl for us. I knew she was in good hands the whole time. If you are looking for a pet sitter that will treat your baby like family, Margi is your woman.

Margi has been caring for our dogs for many years. They love staying with her so much that they hop out of our car and run to her front door. They are so happy to be there. Along with wonderful care, she also will give them their medication’s and vitamins as specified. They get wonderful walks and backyard playtime. If requested, they will even be bathed. She is kind and loving, experienced and conscientious. I highly recommend her.

Margi has a magical way with animals. She is full of love and kindness with lots of experience and education. I highly recommend her. She is amazing with dogs, but also with all other animals. She’s had horses, cats and little rodents, and even gecko lizards. She just has that special way with them all, and they sense that love. She’s the best.

I highly recommend Margi and her services for watching and caring for your dogs! She is so kind and loving and her passion for animals is very apparent. My dogs absolutely love her and get excited when they know they get to hang out with her! I never worry when my animals are in her care. She is super nice and great to work with. Will definitely continue working with her!
