“Large yard for our dog to play and run around, he had a great time and was tired when he got home. Danielle sent pictures throughout the day, I would definitely recommend her.”

“Definitely recommend and will use Brandi again to look after my dogs. I was able to go to work with a great sense of peace of mind knowing my fur baby was in exceptional hands. 6 stars if I could!”

“Was very great with my dogs. Toke the steps to understand the dog, demeanor, and behavior. Handled my ball happy dog who never stops great. Plus toke on more walks than anticipated.”

“Thank you to Jennifer for taking such good care of our brand new puppy whilst we were at Red Rocks!!! You guys were so flexible with the timing of drop off and pick up, you sent pictures to ease a mom’s worried mind. It was a fantastic experience all around.”

“Cara is great! Rowdie loves her and gets super excited when I say “want to go see Cara”. She is flexible and sends me pics during the day of Rowdie playing and having a great time. Highly recommend!”

“Lorraine is Amazing. Shyla loves going to her house playing with her friends and hanging out with her favorite people. Fur baby loving family Shyla will definitely use Lorraine as a home away from home”

“Ally and Gabe were excellent with taking care of our pup. It was very short notice so we really appreciated them saying yes. Gracie was happy when we picked her up and photos were sent to us also.”

“This was our first experience with Rover and with Crystal, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Our dog Beau loved spending time with her and her pup, they all got along great. Beau stayed for four days of daycare and was genuinely excited to arrive each morning, then pretty much sulked when we got home, which says it all. We would absolutely recommend Crystal and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

About: I've taken care of dogs all my life and believe they are truly family and should be cared for as such. I do have some experience with senior care. My most recent dog lived until 13.5 years and needed extra love and care. I work from home, so all dogs will get personal, full time care at any time of the day or night. I don't currently have pets in my home, so all dogs will get my full attention. I have a large, fenced in yard. It's only a 4 foot tall chain link fence so I can't take jumping dogs. But any smaller/ non-escape artist dogs will have plenty of room to play and run. I work from home so I will be able to watch/ play with dogs the entire time they are in my care.
About: I work in education and have summers (and holiday stretches) off. My dog recently passed away. He was a large / elderly / mobility-assisted / diapered / blind / medicated dog I had adopted almost 8 years ago. I had adopted a hospice dog in 2023 as well - she was a large breed with multiple cancers, so I am also familiar with that type of end of life care. I love dogs. I have used Rover often and now I would love the chance to use our empty home this summer to pet sit for others! I have an open summer! I work in education and have summers off. I do not have a schedule that I must adhere to. This is a flexible time for me. There are no other pets in our home. I know this is important for some to feel content with their pet being cared for, so this might fill a need that is harder to find!
“Victoria was absolutely incredible with my dogs! Both of my pups have special needs—one wears a diaper and the other has limited mobility in her back legs—which can honestly be a lot to manage. But Victoria handled everything with so much patience, care, and genuine affection. She didn’t just meet their physical needs; she went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I could tell she was attentive and truly present with them throughout the day. It’s such a relief to find someone who not only understands the extra care required but embraces it with a kind heart. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for dogs and my understanding that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I grew up fostering dogs and have had dogs throughout my life. Over the years, I have also cared for my in-laws' and friends' dogs, gaining experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and care routines. As a current dog owner, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and creating a safe environment where dogs feel comfortable. I am attentive to each pet's individual needs, whether that means maintaining their normal routine, providing extra reassurance, monitoring behavior, or giving puppies and senior dogs the care and attention they need. I have a dedicated setup at home that allows me to safely manage different personalities, including 6-foot gates to provide separate spaces when dogs need time to relax or adjust. My goal is always to make every dog feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. As a full-time student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care throughout the day. I am able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and attention while maintaining each pet's normal routine. I prioritize planning my schedule around the needs of the pets in my care, including consistent feeding times, exercise, medication reminders if needed, and making sure each dog feels comfortable and secure. I enjoy spending time with dogs and am able to provide reliable, attentive care rather than leaving pets alone for extended periods. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment for every pet in my care. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I take the time to learn each owner's instructions and maintain the routines their pets are accustomed to. My home provides a pet-friendly environment with a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, exercise, and play. My own dog can provide companionship and social interaction for dogs who enjoy having a playmate, while I always supervise interactions and respect each dog's individual comfort level. I also have 6-foot gates available to safely separate dogs when needed, allowing pets to have their own space while they adjust or relax. When caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on respecting their space, following their established routines, and providing dependable care and communication. Whether it is walks, feeding, playtime, or companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being.
About: I grew up on a farm caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, We often cared for multiple generations of animals at once, including mama pigs, boars, and their piglets. At one point, our family had more than 23 German Shepherds, giving me extensive experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Caring for animals has been a lifelong part of who I am. From feeding and grooming to exercising, training, cleaning, and monitoring animal health, I've spent decades providing dependable care to both large and small animals. Today, I continue that passion as a dog owner and trusted caregiver for friends, family, and neighbors' pets. I understand that pets are family. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, medication reminders, or simply extra love while you're away, I'll provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care as if they were my own. As a substitute teacher, summer is my off-season, which means I currently have plenty of time to devote to caring for your pets. I am available most days and weekends and can provide consistent attention, exercise, companionship, and loving care while you're away. I provide a safe, supervised, and loving environment for every pet. I live in a pet-friendly townhome and have experience caring for animals of all sizes and temperaments. I have a friendly young dog and two cats and understand the importance of proper introductions and supervision. I follow your pet's routine closely and can accommodate crate-trained pets if needed.
About: As a mom and past pet owner myself I understand being worried about how your children get treated, and that’s why I would love to care, love, and have patience for them, just how I would appreciate other people doing it for my kids I’m a stay at home mom, and it would allow me to do something that I love while everyone else in the house is home for work. While also living with the pet lovers that my 20 yr daughter and partner are. I make sure they feel comfortable with my presence firstly, try to get them to trust me with some pets, treats or lots of cute words. I also feed them, making sure to comply with all of their diet requirements, give them lots of water to drink, brush their hair, and make sure to keep them estimulated with toys and pets. With also the essential recurring walks every 2-4 house to tire them out and let them take a lovely nap on the couches at home. Sending them home with some treats and lots of love hoping they come back may day the care is needed.

Red takes such great care of our Hazy May! All the snuggles, treats, and adventures to places like the dog park or lake. We love the frequent updates she sends throughout the day to see all the fun Hazel is having. Hazel runs up to the door ready to play each morning! Thanks for all you do

Margi and her daughter were great! We just took our dog Sable over for the day, but Margi was nice enough to take a few photos which we really appreciated. It seemed like Sable was sad to come home to an empty house since she had some dogs to hang out with there! I’d definitely book her again.

Lottie had so much fun with Danielle! She went to day care for the first time, three days in a row and was so excited when she recognized where she was on day 2 and 3. She’s been exhausted each day and I feel so much better about her not having to be crated all day!

Jenna is an awesome sitter who is really keyed into dogs and their behavior. She hosts my dog Goose for daycare, and he gets so excited as we drive up to her house. Her communication is stellar - thorough, informative, with lots of great pics. Her two pups seem super friendly as well. Thanks Jenna!

We did a last minute booking. And I am extremely grateful that Kaylyn responded right away. Soon as we saw her, she was super excited to dogsit our puppy Milo. You can tell she is really loving and really cares about what she does. She told us how our puppy did and how much fun he was having with her dog Boomer. I will be booking with her next time I’m in town. Thank you so much Kaylyn! ☺️

This was our first experience with Rover and with Crystal, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Our dog Beau loved spending time with her and her pup, they all got along great. Beau stayed for four days of daycare and was genuinely excited to arrive each morning, then pretty much sulked when we got home, which says it all. We would absolutely recommend Crystal and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
