About: I have been a dog owner for over 11 years, ever since I brought my BaoBao home at just 2 months old. Caring for her through every stage of life—puppy energy, training, adulthood, and now her senior years—has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a dog’s needs both physically and emotionally. I’m very comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic medications, senior-dog care, and recognizing when a dog is anxious or needs extra comfort. I am quick to respond to any needs or questions you may have. I walk my dog every morning and evening, and it has become a natural part of my daily routine. Whenever I take my kids out to play, my dog always comes with us. Baobao is 11 and extremely friendly and loves everyone! I have a fully fenced yard with grass. More grass outdoor. My kids love pets so so much. And I have a samoyed named Baobao.

About: Collectively, our household has well over 15 years of animal care experience. From farm life raising cattle to assisting with terminal dog care- we have experienced a plethora of unique situations. As a whole, we are a gentle giant family with several years of experience having Great Danes in our family. We have experience with needing to administer anything from simple medications to intravenous treatments to our special critters. Dogs have always been apart of our lives until as of the last few months when we lost our Great Dane to kidney disease. Dog care fits in so perfectly into our livestyle because one of us works from home every day of the week. We rarely have no one home except when we have planned weekend events. Our family and social lives outside of the home are usually a dinner night out and back within 2 hours. Think of us as empty nesters just waiting to get to some dog cuddles in! We live in a single family home with a fenced in yard and turf if your fur baby is particular. Our neighborhood is extremely walkable where we normally take multiple daily walks depending on the weather. We are very clean and orderly without lots of clutter that an adventurous pup can get into. Safe & Comfortable Space: My apartment is fully dog-proofed to be safe for all sizes, particularly giant breeds like Marvin and Penny. While we are on the third floor, all stair access is carefully monitored. The living space is cleaned daily, and we use only pet-safe cleaning products. Consistency: I strictly adhere to your dog's specific feeding, medication, and sleep schedules to minimize stress and maintain behavioral consistency. Dog-Friendly Pack: My resident dogs, Marvin (OES) and Penny (OES/Bernese), are vetted, friendly, and social. They provide excellent, positive companionship, but rest periods are always respected. ✅ Safety & Trust Protocols Leash Security: All dogs are securely leashed before exiting the apartment door. Vaccination & Health Checks: I require proof of up-to-date vaccinations and will communicate immediately regarding any signs of illness or injury. In the event of a critical emergency, my local knowledge of the Roxborough/Littleton area ensures quick transport to the nearest animal hospital. Outdoor Monitoring: During our daily Chatfield trips, dogs are always under my direct visual supervision. I ensure appropriate play interactions and monitor for signs of overexertion or stress, particularly during warmer weather. 🤝 Flexibility & Dog Park Policy A Note on Our Daily Chatfield Trips: I understand that not every dog thrives in a large, off-leash environment like a dog park. If you do not feel comfortable with your dog attending the daily Chatfield trip, that is absolutely fine! We will ensure your dog receives a focused, structured neighborhood walk, or dedicated play/enrichment time instead. If you are just unsure about how your dog might handle the park, I encourage you to discuss any concerns with me. We can talk through ways to make the visit comfortable, such as limiting the time, staying in a quieter area, or using a muzzle (if applicable), to ensure a positive experience for your dog. Hydration: Water is always readily available both inside my home and on every park trip. I believe safety starts with constant attention and expert handling, which my full-time work-from-home schedule provides.

Any size and breed is welcome in my home. They’ll have tons of room to stretch their legs in our backyard, plenty of cuddles, and snacks galore! If your pet needs to be kept separate for others, I can provide a crate, a comfy independent room, and a rotation schedule to provide outside time.

Growing up I always wanted to be a vet or wildlife biologist. I have been a pet sitter as well as a biology teacher for 20 years. I even received my pet CPR certification. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds and horses mainly. But absolutely love all animals and would care for them as if they were my own. Growing up, I had the joy of sharing my life with five amazing dogs, and I quickly became the go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood.
