“Amber kept Pebbles for a daycare. Pebbles had so much fun playing with her and her doodles. She was worn out after her playday! Amber sent pictures and updates. Perfect day for our girl! Hope to use her again!”

“Sara and Ryan are amazing! Lily had a great time with their pups and they were very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was also really comforting getting pictures throughout the day of the dogs having fun. We have already recommended them to a few of our friends that also have dogs! Thanks again guys!”

“Danielle was such a lifesaver when I needed my Chewy picked up last minute on the 4th of July! She was so wonderful and went above and beyond to help me out in a pinch and picked up Chewy for me since I was already out of town. Then I was delayed getting home and she was willing to host him another night last minute also and was so sweet in trying to not make me feel bad about the last minute change (Again!). She is the best and definitely my new go-to Chewy sitter :) She sent so many photos and gave him lots of love and attention. Thank you so much Danielle!!! :)))”

“Jennifer was able to accommodate my boys at the last minute for daycare while construction dragged on at my house. She is very friendly and clearly loves animals. I received tons of photos during the day and lots of updates about what they were doing. Boys came home absolutely exhausted and all smiles.”

“Melody was sweet to our pups! She gave them treats throughout the day, cuddled with them, and took them on a walk! She gave us frequent updates which I appreciate and loved to see!”

“Brooke and Nathan were amazing. They watched Dante for longer because I was stuck driving in bad weather. Dante was fast asleep on the drive home which meant he had a big day of fun and playing. Thanks to Brooke and Nathan for taking such good care of him!”

About: 🏡 Meet Your Dog's Home Away From Home! Hi, I'm Heather, and I work from home full-time, giving me the unique ability to offer constant, attentive supervision of your pup. My home is already full of love, thanks to my resident doggos: Marvin (a friendly Old English Sheepdog) and Penny (a gentle Old English Sheepdog and Bernese Mountain Dog mix). They are social butterflies who adore making friends of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! 🐾 The Roxborough Adventure While we live in a 3rd-floor apartment, we believe in maximizing outdoor time and fun! Daily Chatfield Trips: We are approximately 6 miles from Chatfield Dog Park, and we make daily trips there. Your dog will enjoy endless roaming, socializing, and play potential in this massive, secure area. They'll come home happily tired! Active Fun: This means your pup gets high-quality exercise and mental stimulation every single day, perfect for high-energy breeds and dogs who thrive in an active pack. ✨ What Sets Me Apart I am capable of catering to a wide variety of breeds, ages, and personality types. My experience as a full-time dog mom to Marvin (an Old English Sheepdog) has given me key specializations: Grooming Expertise: I have a thorough understanding of the importance of daily grooming needs. If your long-haired or high-shedding dog requires daily brushing, ear cleaning, or quick touch-ups, that is absolutely no problem and will be included in their stay. 💖 The Next Step I would love to be your dog's happy home away from home! Please send me a message with a few details about your dog (age, breed, typical routine, and required dates), and let's set up a time for a Meet & Greet to ensure we're the perfect fit. 🗓️ Daily Pet Care Schedule & Routine Because I work from home full-time, pet care isn't just a side task—it is my daily routine. Your dog will receive constant companionship and supervision, integrating seamlessly into my relaxed and structured schedule. I am available for boarding or doggo daycare 7 days a week. 🛡️ Safety, Trust, and Environment My goal is to create a safe, consistent, and joyful environment that replicates the comforts of your home, with the added benefit of full-time, expert supervision. 🏠 Our Home Environment (Roxborough Area Apartment) Constant Supervision: As I work from home full-time, your pet is never left unsupervised. This allows for immediate response to any behavioral or safety concerns. Safe & Comfortable Space: My apartment is fully dog-proofed to be safe for all sizes, particularly giant breeds like Marvin and Penny. While we are on the third floor, all stair access is carefully monitored. The living space is cleaned daily, and we use only pet-safe cleaning products. Consistency: I strictly adhere to your dog's specific feeding, medication, and sleep schedules to minimize stress and maintain behavioral consistency. Dog-Friendly Pack: My resident dogs, Marvin (OES) and Penny (OES/Bernese), are vetted, friendly, and social. They provide excellent, positive companionship, but rest periods are always respected. ✅ Safety & Trust Protocols Leash Security: All dogs are securely leashed before exiting the apartment door. Vaccination & Health Checks: I require proof of up-to-date vaccinations and will communicate immediately regarding any signs of illness or injury. Emergency Plan: I keep local veterinary emergency contact information readily accessible. In the event of a critical emergency, my local knowledge of the Roxborough/Littleton area ensures quick transport to the nearest animal hospital. Communication: I provide daily updates, photos, and videos so you can see your pet is happy, safe, and enjoying their stay. 🏞️ Active Care & External Safety (Chatfield) Safe Transport: Dogs are secured in harnesses and appropriate seatbelts/crates during the short drive to and from Chatfield Dog Park. Outdoor Monitoring: During our daily Chatfield trips, dogs are always under my direct visual supervision. I ensure appropriate play interactions and monitor for signs of overexertion or stress, particularly during warmer weather. 🤝 Flexibility & Dog Park Policy A Note on Our Daily Chatfield Trips: I understand that not every dog thrives in a large, off-leash environment like a dog park. If you do not feel comfortable with your dog attending the daily Chatfield trip, that is absolutely fine! We will ensure your dog receives a focused, structured neighborhood walk, or dedicated play/enrichment time instead. If you are just unsure about how your dog might handle the park, I encourage you to discuss any concerns with me. We can talk through ways to make the visit comfortable, such as limiting the time, staying in a quieter area, or using a muzzle (if applicable), to ensure a positive experience for your dog. Hydration: Water is always readily available both inside my home and on every park trip. I believe safety starts with constant attention and expert handling, which my full-time work-from-home schedule provides.
About: I grew up loving and caring for dogs of my own, so your furry friend will be in loving hands. I have two dogs of my own who would love to play and your pup will be just as spoiled as mine! Any size and breed is welcome in my home. They’ll have tons of room to stretch their legs in our backyard, plenty of cuddles, and snacks galore! I am an elementary school teacher and can spend my time off with your sweet dog. I would especially love to spend my weekends with new furry friends. My availability is mostly wide open, but reach out so we can chat, get comfortable with each other, and confirm dates. I hope that your pup(s) will visit! I am currently in between jobs and would love to fill a majority of my time taking care of sweet fur babies in the area. I am available throughout the day to help you as you need! Pets in my home will be very safe and comfortable. We have a fenced in yard for your pet to play, sunbathe, and potty as needed. Pets are welcome on the furniture and will be provided plenty of snuggles. If your pet needs to be kept separate for others, I can provide a crate, a comfy independent room, and a rotation schedule to provide outside time.
“Kris was completely amazing, flexible and friendly. She sent pics of my dog Miley and kept me posted about everything. Miley takes time to warm up with other dogs but I was so happy to hear she was playing with the other doggie guests right away. Next day my dog was very sleepy which means she was pooped from her time at Kris’s house.”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid growing up with just about every kind of animal. Most recently dogs, cats, and horses. Growing up I always wanted to be a vet or wildlife biologist. I have been a pet sitter as well as a biology teacher for 20 years. I even received my pet CPR certification. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds and horses mainly. But absolutely love all animals and would care for them as if they were my own. I am currently finishing up my year as a teacher, but I am available on weekends. As the summer gets here, I will be available throughout the week anytime. Whether pets are in my home or in a clients, they are treated as if they were my own with all the love and care that they deserve.

“Frank accomodated our puppy and needs last minute during our visit to Denver. He was very easy to communicate with and always responsive. Our dog came home happy and everything seems to have worked out great. We would gladly recommend him to anyone.”
“Very comfortable and welcoming home. My girls are typically very timid going to new places, they were so at ease in Angela’s home. We will definitely come back!!”

“Definitely recommend and will use Brandi again to look after my dogs. I was able to go to work with a great sense of peace of mind knowing my fur baby was in exceptional hands. 6 stars if I could!”

About: I have had pets since I was a child. When I moved to my own home I got birds, cats and then dogs. I am familiar with ALL situations involving pets. My current dog is an Emotional Support Animal and soon to be a Pet Therapy Dog! I work part-time and have a very flexible schedule for day care, visits with your animals or overnight stays. I will work with you to try and meet your needs. I have a fenced yard and a well behaved Golden doodle who loves to play with others. I have plenty of toys for dogs and can crate if necessary but I like to see the animals run free.
“This was our first experience with Rover and with Crystal, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Our dog Beau loved spending time with her and her pup, they all got along great. Beau stayed for four days of daycare and was genuinely excited to arrive each morning, then pretty much sulked when we got home, which says it all. We would absolutely recommend Crystal and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Roxborough Park commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
