About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs and cats, spending my life caring for them and making sure they feel loved and happy. Beyond my personal experience, I’ve also volunteered with rescue animal organizations, which has given me the chance to help animals in need and build even stronger skills in caring for them. Friends, family, and neighbors often turn to me as their trusted pet sitter, and I genuinely enjoy being there for their pets. I know how important it is for pet owners to feel confident and connected while they’re away. That’s why I’ll keep you updated regularly and happily share pictures of your pets during our time together—there’s nothing better than seeing them happy and relaxed. My priority is to make sure your pets are well taken care of so you can have peace of mind. I work from home, allowing me to provide a flexible schedule for your pets' potty breaks, frequent walks, and playtime. I live in a neighborhood with lots of walking trails and open spaces where I could take the dogs too (Only if the owner is comfortable with that) Your pets will receive double the care, attention, and love while they stay with us! Living in a house with a backyard , I have a spacious front and back yard where dogs can conveniently have their potty breaks. Moreover, my neighborhoods features a fantastic doggy park and trials providing an opportunity for your furry companions to enjoy the outdoors. Additionally, I am more than happy to take them on frequent walks around the neighborhood to ensure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. It's worth mentioning that my husband shares the same love and affection for animals as I do. Together, we take pleasure in making new furry friends and providing them with a warm and welcoming environment.

I run my own company so my schedule is extremely flexible and my wife is a stay at home mom so someone is always here to supervise. We have a fenced in yard and 2 small dogs for your dogs to play with. We don't keep the animals outside for very long, especially in the winter time. Our dogs are fed twice a day but as many feedings can be done as needed.
“Darren takes great care of Marcy, providing photos and updates throughout the day. He was also very flexible and understanding, when I made a mistake and arrived late for pickup. Highly recommend!”

“I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. That takes a lot of “watching”. We live in Texas and were in Castlerock for our son’s wedding. I’m sure we will be visiting again, and if we need a dog sitter, Leah will be the first one we call. Thank You so much Leah. 😊”

“Sylvia watched my dog for an all day fun playdate while I went into work and she was amazing! My dog, Pepper, had so much fun playing with her friendly French bulldog. Sylvia sent lots of photos and updates, which made my day knowing Pepper was having fun. There was no doubt he was in good hands. Sylvia is a true dog lover! I will 100% contact Sylvia for all my future dog sitting needs.”

About: Animals have been a core part of my life for over 20 years. I grew up raising and adopting all kinds of pets (dogs, cats, birds, small rodents). I’ve always had a soft spot for adopting senior dogs so they get a spoiled, loving last chapter. I helped my parents raise and train working/hunting dogs for birding, and I’ve volunteered with local rescues supporting adoption efforts. Along the way I’ve cared for everything from 120+ lb working labs (they were huge lol) to lap loving shih-tzus, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of sizes, energy levels, and personalities. My home is the perfect spot for your small dogs and sleepy seniors to get companionship and quiet comfort all day. I work from home so they’ll be part of my day: naps nearby while I’m on calls (or enjoying the enclosed patio where they can keep watch over our side of the neighborhood), enjoy play breaks between meetings, and full attention during lunch and downtime. 🐾 What a day looks like: • Morning walk/potty break • Midday walk to a nearby park with plenty of grass and trees to enjoy (great for zoomies or a leisurely stroll) • Afternoon play/rest break • Evening wind-down walk before pickup 👩💻Working from home = supervision all day, no long alone stretches 🌱No private yard, but we have a comfortable enclosed patio and can provide frequent walks to nearby grassy parks for exercise or a low-impact stroll 🐾 Comfortable, calm environment (great for dogs who do better with low-key days)
About: I’m a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your furry baby plenty of time, attention, and care during their stay. I offer kennel-free boarding and only take one guest dog at a time, so your pup receives personalized care. My home is dog-friendly, with a fully fenced backyard shared with my sweet English Cocker Spaniel, who gets along great with other dogs. We also enjoy daily walks, and we’re lucky to have the Cherry Creek Trail close to our house for great outdoor time. I have experience with both small and large breeds, and I always do my best to adapt to each dog’s personality, routine, and needs. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby and make them feel right at home! 🐾 As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and consistent care throughout the day. I care for my clients’ pets with the same attention, patience, and love I give my own. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment so pets feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“Coltrane spent his first day with Sarah & Darren and they took great care of him. It is obvious that they are dog lovers and enjoy hanging out and playing. Coltrane had so much fun, he didn't necessarily even want to leave when we picked him up. We have a couple of boarding stays booked with Sarah & Darren in the near future and I feel good about leaving Coltrane with them for these stays. I know he will be well taken care of and have lots of fun. Thank you Sarah & Darren!”

“Kelsey took amazing care of Chloe. I am grateful for her flexibility and willingness to accommodate my work hours. Chloe didn’t want to come home! Thank you again!”

About: Hi I’m Shelby! I was an executive director for over 10 years in senior living and have taken a step back from the corporate lifestyle. I have had dogs my entire life and absolutely love animals. I have a dog named Koda who is a trained service animal. She is gentle and kind and will play tug of war with other dogs. I view dogs as family members and will treat your dog as a family member while you are away ♥️ I currently am not working and can dedicate my day to taking care of your dog. Depending on your dogs personality I am happy to play with them in the backyard, go on walks, help with minor training, and relax on the couch together. If I do need to leave for a few hours just let me know if your dog prefers to be in a crate or can roam about the house. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible. I am happy to do exactly what you need. It’s ideal to keep dogs in their routine and I will assist with that. I am patient and will spend the time needed to make sure they are comfortable and you know your dog is cared for.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
