“We adore Skylar!! She was so great with our 5 yr old lab mix Apache. Our fur face is the sweetest thing but also can be 85lbs of crazy dog! Skylar made sure that she was exercised even more then what we asked while we were away, she made sure to check in and send pics through out Apache’s stay with her. It was a dog vacation for Apache! She came home happy and we knew our pup was very well taken care of. Would absolutely recommend Skylar to take care of your fur faces too!”

16. Melanie & Braeden B.
About: Both of us had family pets growing up. Melanie’s first pup was a miniature schnauzer, who she helped train, play with, and take care of throughout her life all the way through her senior years. Braeden had a rescue stray terrier their family took in and is now 17 and still going! Last year, we adopted an Australian Kelpie mix from New Hope Cattle Dogs rescue. Indie has taught us so much already, and keeping her safe, happy, and active is so important to us. Between the two of us, we work from home 2-3 days per week with weekends off. On days we both go in to work we try to stagger so we aren’t gone for more than 8 hours. Let us know your pup’s needs and we can see if we are a good fit! While we aren’t quite ready to give our Indie girl an official sibling yet, we’d love to take your pup in as our temporary family! We have a very active dog, so we get her daily exercise via walks, runs, or other adventures. Indie is also very friendly with other dogs and a great play mate. We have a small fully fenced backyard, and there’s plenty of space still to run around. Dogs have the run of the house while we are away, and are allowed on furniture and bed. If your pup is used to having a small space or a crate we have a fence or crate we can use if needed.
