About: I work from home, so your pet is part of my day! We’re only a few minutes from Cook Creek Green Space, so walks happen often, with plenty of grass and sunshine when we’re both in need of a mid-day adventure to escape the Teams notifications. Animals have been a core part of my life for over 20 years — I grew up raising and adopting all kinds of pets, helped my parents train working/hunting dogs for birding, and have volunteered with local rescues supporting adoption efforts. I have a special soft spot for senior and small dogs, in memory of my own shih-tzu Lucy — she taught me how much personality can fit into a tiny frame, and I bring that same gentleness to every small or senior pup in my care, including dogs on medication or with mobility needs. 🐕 Our dog, Tyr (7-year-old Lab), is a regular at daycare himself and has a real knack for reading the room — he’s a grounding, easygoing presence for dogs who join us. My home is the perfect spot for your dogs to get companionship and quiet comfort all day. About: I lived with pets growing up...dogs, cats, reptiles, horses. I am very active, and will play or run with your animal for hours! I am licensed to administer medication to humans, and have volunteered with wild animal rescues, so I can care for sick animals too. I choose the hours I work at my job, allowing me to pick up a shift at any hour and remain flexible with last-minute changes. I won’t be boarding at my home, but I have reliable transportation and wouldn’t mind taking your dog to a dog park or nearby hiking trail. I update availability regularly, but if you have any special requests just ask. I wouldn't be able to live with it if something happened to your pup while with me! I have experience with reactive dogs, dogs who have lost hearing, have digestive issues, and many other senior things. They will never be unsupervised outside. If you are working on any simple training or reinforcements I can continue that, too. I understand not all pets are cuddlers or like to be picked up just because they are small and I am respectful of their bodily autonomy :)

“We had a great experience with Emilee! At the time of our booking she was new to Rover (as were we!), but you never would have guessed it. She was very professional, responsible, organized, and personable - you would have thought she’d done this hundreds of times already! We started with a meet and greet where she asked great questions about our dog and allowed him to get comfortable with her and her space which was very helpful to us all. During the stay she was communicative and sent lots of updates and photos. They played, exercised, and she gave him lots of love and attention. I appreciated that Emilee works from home so I know she was with my dog the majority of the time. He was very well taken care of which is all we could have asked for. She sent him home with clean bowls, all his things organized well, and a nice note too 😊 I will definitely book with Emilee again!”
