“My pups had an amazing time as always. I feel like I am dropping the dogs off with a family member. They are so kind and caring ! And they love the other dogs and the big back yard!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Heather made the whole process amazing! She watched my 2 dogs and one takes a while to warm up and she made him feel so comfortable that he snuggled with her all weekend! They got along great with her super friendly German Shepard. Overall, it was an amazing experience!”

“Breanne was very friendly and welcoming of Anya. She took really good care of her and also has a large wonderful house for a dog to be comfortable. This was our first Rover reservation and Breanne went above and beyond to ensure that we feel safe leaving Anya with her. I would highly recommend reaching out to her in case you need help for your dog(s). Thank you, Breanne!”

“Danielle and her family have been so accommodating to us and more importantly, so loving to our doodle. Odie loves staying with them and playing with their pup who is so friendly and playful. Odie gets regular walks and so much playtime. We feel so at ease knowing that our doodle is in such good hands when we can't be with him. Thank you!!!”

“I cannot recommend Stephanie enough. Not only did she accommodate a last minute request, but she took such excellent care of Ruby. She sent me pictures throughout her whole stay, and I could tell Ruby had an absolute blast with her and Pretzel. I will absolutely be contacting Stephanie in the future!!!”

“Dan provided great care for our dog! He's super responsive and flexible, I know we can count on Dan to provide lots of updates and pictures. Really helps us feel at ease when we need to get out of town!”

“Heather is the best! She sends me pictures of my fluff ball. I know he's in great hands with her! She's always my first message any time I need someone to watch my cat.”

“Found Denitsa for a last minute trip we were taking. She was great and our pups were as happy as when we dropped them off. Would recommend her and will be rebooking again in the future.”

“Thank you all so much for another great stay for Coco & as always, flexibility with unexpected travel delays. She is so happy to come to your house and we are able to enjoy our travels knowing she is in great hands.”

“Lindsey was an INCREDIBLE Rover. I really mean it, your dog will be in heaven. They are a house of animal lovers and all the updates made me so happy to see how much fun Otto was having. This is definitely the best of Rover, don't miss out on a chance to book with Lindsey & fam :)”

“Traci was the best dog sitter we have ever had through Rover. We have used quite a few people in the past but none of them compared to Traci’s love and compassion for our dogs. I was really nervous to leave my dogs but she put my mind at ease. She checked in with me at least twice a day. Sent lots of pictures. She loved our dogs as if they were hers. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She truly has a special way with animals. Your dogs will be well taken care of in her care. She’s super flexible as well.”

“We can tell Pumpkin had such a great time staying with Renea and her family. They provided updates with pictures and videos throughout the stay. We really enjoyed our experience with them, and very grateful that they took such good care of Pumpkin!!”

“Katiane and her family were wonderful with my little Mocha. Her kids were so sweet and gentle with her. I could tell from the pictures and videos Katiane sent that my pup was in caring hands. 10/10 would recommend Katiane!”

“My dog Lola loved her experience with Carolina and her family. She sent photos and videos so I knew my dog Lola was having a great time. Would highly suggest using this family. Thank you so much Carolina and your family for taking care of Lola.”

“Brooke and Nathan did a great job taking care of Clyde. They left great updates and he was was happy when he came home! We would love to have clyde stay again— thank you!”

“I can't say enough about Emilee! We absolutely loved having her watch our little guy. She was super reliable...kept us in the loop the whole time and sent the cutest pics. This was the first time partnering with her. Lewis settled in right away and was happy when we picked him up. She walked and fed him on a schedule...zero worries on our end. On top of all of that, she was flexible. Our flight was delayed, and Emilee went above and beyond to provide options. Two thumbs up because I only have two! We'll definitely book with her again.”
“Deanna was so great with my dog during his stay. She walked him everyday, sent lots of pictures and made sure he felt at home almost immediately. Her dogs also were very receptive to my dog as well, making sure he didn’t feel out of place in the slightest. Highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter.”

“This was our second time sending our pup to Erik and it was a long stay, about 10 days! Our dog loved staying with him and Aphrodite! Erik is our go-to sitter!”

I highly recommend Alexis! We were leaving out of the country, and our dog had some last minute itching/licking issues and she really stepped up and handled the situation great. We were so grateful since we had technical problems with the communication and time difference on our side. She's awesome!

Denitsa and Charlie dog were excellent caregiver and play buddy to our lil yorkipoo! First time using Rover for us and was blown away at the many adorable pictures and communication that our baby was having fun and lots of exercise! Will definitely rebook with her for our next trip if she’s still open! Thanks so much!

Heatherlyn is the best. Our lab Roxie loves her time with Heather and her dog Lucien. Heather sends pictures, videos and updates (with cute stories of our dog) daily. Our lab loves it so much, she tries to go to her house when we are walking in the area. You can't ask for a better dog sitter!
Ella was great! My dog was with her for an extended period while I was out of the country and Ella made sure Luna was well taken care of, and kept me updated an appropriate amount on how she was doing throughout my trip. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Luna stay with Ella again!

Maria was wonderful with our senior boy, Baxter! It can be difficult to find the right fit for a dog with special needs, but Maria was very understanding and caring. She opened her home to us to do a pre-stay meet and greet, provided regular updates (and photos), and asked questions to make sure they kept Baxter as comfortable and in his routine as possible. It was obvious when we picked him up that he was happy and spoiled while we were gone and Maria will be our first choice the next time we need care for Baxter.

In addition to just being incredibly kind and professional dog sitters, we especially appreciate the daily recaps and photo/video updates - it's so much easier and less stressful to travel when we know what a fun playdate our furbaby is going to have with her friends while we're gone!

My husband and I just picked up our 10 month old lab today after almost 10 days with Gessica and honestly we couldn’t be happier with our experience. It was our first time ever leaving him with a sitter so we were a bit worried, and on top of that he’s still a puppy so he can get pretty anxious. Gessica was amazing with him. She gave him so much attention and kept sending us photos and updates the whole time which really helped us relax and actually enjoy our trip. We came back to one happy pup! If you’re on the fence about leaving your dog with a sitter, especially for the first time, I’d 100% recommend Gessica. So glad we found her! 🐾

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
