“Peter and family watched Brisket over the Thanksgiving holiday. They had great communication and I have no doubt that Brisket was very well cared for. Sounds like he got along swimmingly with their dog, Riley, which was a huge plus also. I would definitely use them in the future.”

“Nichole and Chris were amazing. It was our first time leaving our 6 month old puppy and I was soooo anxious. Nichole made me feel comfortable from the start with lots of pics and communication. They even bought us a new treat bag because another pup got a hold of Loki's and thought it was a fun, tasty toy. Would definitely have Loki stay with them again.”

“Our 1 year old Great Pyrenees / Old English Sheepdog, Kody, just came home from a wonderful 3 night stay with Clint and his dog Bailey! We rescued Kody 3 months ago so this was his first time with a dogsitter and clearly Clint knows dogs... he figured out Kody's quirks without us telling him. Clint gave Kody enough exercise and access to the outdoors to keep him happy and well adjusted and Kody and Bailey played well together :) We will definitely book stays with Clint in the future, YAY!”

“Sarah and Darren are amazing sitters! So responsive, share wonderful photos so we can see our sweet pup when we miss him, and are genuinely kind people. 100% trust them with our dog and 100% recommend!”

“Oahn was lovely! Very friendly, had a nice house that i'm sure my dog enjoyed, and her children were SO excited to see my pup! I'd be happy to have her babysit my dog again.”

“I really can't say enough about how truly wonderful Brenda is. I have never felt so at ease leaving my baby girl with anyone. She communicates daily on your dog, sends the cutest little update videos and pictures. Lilah looked so happy with her and I am so grateful for Brenda's help and care for Lilah. ❤️❤️”

“Mary Jo is amazing! Our girl was treated like family, and we enjoyed the photo updates. We’re so glad to have have found her, and look forward to booking another stay for our pup again soon.”

“Bella had a great time at Jen’s! Jen did a great job w daily updates and pics. It was so nice to not have to worry about Bella while we were gone knowing she was well taken care of. I also really appreciated Jen’s flexibility with scheduling bc of a last minute flight change.”
“Gina and Brett took great care of Sophie! They played lots of ball, said they had fun with her and that she is welcome back. We will definitely use them again!”

“Ryan did a great job taking care of our dogs. He was truly concerned with their well being. Our plane was delayed, got in later than expected. Ryan was very flexible and helpful with our pups.”

“Our pup had the best time with Heather and her pets! This was our first time boarding our 7 month old puppy and Heather was great at keeping us updated and making us feel super comfortable with leaving our puppy. Her puppy and ours became best friends, and had so much fun! We would definitely recommend and use Heather’s services again.”

“Aleks and her family were absolutely amazing taking care of my baby. I knew my dog Lilah was going to be in good hands from the first meeting I had with them. She asked insightful questions and seemed to really want to get to know Lilah and know her quirks and how to best take care of her which I hadn’t had in another dog sitter prior. Lilah is naturally suspicious of others (was a shelter dog) but clearly loved her and her family. When she was picked up, she whined and clearly wanted to bring her back home with us. lol. Aleks sent photos every day of Lilah which were amazing to see. I was very thankful to see her running and walking lots and enjoying herself in their company. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone I know and if we plan to leave town again will definitely see if she’s available to take care of our girl!”

“Vlad and his family took amazing care of Rosie! He was very accommodating in keeping her for a couple more hours since my flight got delayed. They are the best!!”

“Jordan and Drew are fantastic! They were communicative, kept me updated and gave me peace of mind while I was away. Ella had the best time and I will definitely be using them again for future stays!”

“I'm so lucky I found Kaylee at the last minute to take care of my sick pup. We were headed out for spring break right when he came down with kennel cough, and she stepped in without hesitation. Kaylee took such great care of him. She sent daily pictures and updates, which really eased my worries. I appreciated her so much.”

“Raja loves staying with Carly, Hunter, and Tilly. He’s always super exciting to be with them and tired/slightly sad when he comes home. Those are signs of a happy dog. Carly and Hunter are the best!”

“Teresa just finished boarding my pup for 8 nights. She did a great job in taking care of Charlie. She provided daily pictures and updates on how he was doing throughout our trip. I felt very confident in the care that was provided. Thank you Teresa”

“Shelby and Justin were amazing sitters for my pup! They have a wonderful home with friendly pups of their own that all took care of my pup. Shelby gave several updates throughout his stay with them and he absolutely loved it there! We would highly recommend Shelby and Justin!”

Michael and his wife took such good care of my dog Luna! We are repeat clients, but Murphy’s Law meant that Luna had to get stitches on her cheek two days before we were scheduled to leave for a week, but Michael was understanding and accommodating of the situation (and the associated e-collar that I’m sure she banged into every corner of the house). Stitches looked great when we picked her up and she was exhausted from being part of the household for a full week. Thanks for the great care!

Oanh and her family took excellent care of my timid senior dog. Our meet and greet went well and I felt confident I leaving my fur baby in good hands. I received several videos and returned to find my girl happy. I highly recommend this family and will be taking my dog to their home again. Thank you, Oanh!

Our pups love their “grandma Teresa” since she treats them like her own. They love that she basically has a dog park in her back yard! Even though one can be a little anxious, they are always so happy to arrive and are happy and healthy when we pick them up. Teresa sends great updates and is wonderful to work with as well! I also have some anxiety leaving them but having Teresa as their sitter makes all the difference.

Lindsay was the perfect choice to care for our two dogs while we were gone 15 days! We did a meet and greet and then I brought my Dogs over just one more time so that they would feel comfortable when he was left with her. They were super excited when we dropped them off, which is a great sign. Lindsey sent updates and pictures the whole time we felt very comfortable having them in her care. I highly recommend her.

Rocky had a great time staying at Lauren's house for 3 nights! He loved playing with her doodle and her girls. He didn't want to get in the car to come home! I was 90 min late to pick Rocky up and this was no problem. Definately will be having Rocky back to Lauren as needed.
Lucia and Luis did such a great job caring for my dog, Luna, and my cat, Ollie! I was out of the country for 2 weeks and they put my mind at ease with daily updates. They took them on walks everyday, and gave them extra pets and snuggles while I was gone. I’m grateful for the service they provided and I will be reaching back out in the future!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Southglenn home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Southglenn.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Southglenn sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
