Love Our Pet Relatives | 24/7 care
We live in Highlands Ranch with our pupsters Argos, Lyceia and Galene; all rescue critters. We've cared for dogs for over 25 years, and have served at the Dumb Friends League as infirmary volunteers, Western Border Collie Rescue, Polaris Husky Rescue, and Colorado Dalmatian Rescue as foster parents and emergency transportation volunteers. I, Stellina, work from home, where I am also conducting my PhD research (it is taking FUR-ever!). I have enough time to attend to, care and play with all four-legged friends, both yours and ours; while Russell is the transportation and walk-the-pooch master. Do allow us the opportunity and great pleasure to serve you and your furry kiddos. Ask away! Why I love dog sitting We firmly believe pets, and dogs in our context, are far more than just companions. They are individuals with all emotional traits and capacities humans also possess. They are also almost entirely dependent on our ability to love and care for them. So, it is more or less, a moral imperative for us to love and take care of them. And that's what we do. Meet our pets Our doggies: - Argos, our only rescue boy - Galene, a sweetheart who was abused at a puppy mill, and abandoned in Utah before we found her - Lyceia, abandoned and rescued from the streets od Houston as a puppy. A distemper survivor. About our yard Medium-size back yard with 6-ft. fence, trees, covered patio and desert sand. Fully xeriscaped and Western-themed. My experience administering medication Yes, both oral and injected Stellina is working from home, so it fits right in. Our 24/7 availability and care for the critters is not an issue for us at all. Our home: 6 ft. fence around a xeriscaped pet-friendly yard. Pups have all the freedom to choose where to play and rest. We allow our furry guests on furniture, open-door crates and beds unless the owners wish otherwise. We thoroughly sanitize our home twice a week, we do not accept pups with any type of aggressive behavior, and arrange special accommodations for our guests who are not spayed/neutered.
