About: I have dogs most of my life. They have all been well behaved and loved! My last dog recently passed and I would love to take care of yours! I am currently retired and would have plenty of time to play with your pup. I also have plenty of time for walks and bathroom breaks. I prioritize a safe loving environment where your pet's routine is strictly followed. Including regular feeding, fresh water, playtime and constant companionship. About: Meet & greets required (with my dogs) before any dog sitting. I take smaller dogs 25 lbs and under. I’m home with my 2 dogs (boys) who would love to watch after your dogs too! I’m used to taking care of dogs who need medicine, my 2 dogs love to play and do great with other dogs as well. My townhouse doesn’t really do well for large dogs without a yard I think it’s for the best that way. I don’t work and I have plenty of time to pay attention to your dogs needs. My dogs are both over 5 and love to play still but also love their naps! My townhouse opens up to cherry creek ecological park so dogs get nice long walks. I also have a front porch that is closed in and I half astroturf out there as well

I work from home and am here most of the time, so your dog will get plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. My husband, Kyle, and I currently have a playful 4-year-old chocolate lab who is very friendly and adjusts his play style based on the temperament of whatever dog he's with, so he's a great companion for pups of all personalities. I've sat for multiple dogs at once, including pups with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs, so I'm comfortable managing group dynamics, separate feeding routines, medication schedules, or specific behavioral needs your dog may have. I'm comfortable with dogs of all ages and energy levels. We're an active household and happy to provide daily walks in the local park or around the neighborhood. My home is fully fenced (a secure 6ft fence, spacious yard) with a doggy door, so dogs can move freely between indoors and outdoors on their own schedule. Dogs are welcome to relax wherever they're most comfortable in the house, but I also have baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs if needed. I can accommodate a crate. Happy to use yours, or I have a medium-sized crate available to borrow if you'd rather not bring your own. Please note: I have a young child at home, so I'm only able to host dogs who are good with kids. Throughout my life, I have had a deep love for all animals, but dogs have always been an especially important part of my life. When I'm not coaching youth soccer for the local competitive soccer club, I spend most of my time with my new pup, Minnie, a 9-month-old Yellow Lab. My day starts at around 6am with a long morning poop walk for the pups shortly after eating breakfast. Sometimes we go to the cherry creek off leash area and run around for about an hour. This leaves us tired til our next outing around noon, most of the time the pups sleep until then. After this we do treats and trainings in the afternoons followed by 2 more walks in the evenings for a total of atleast 4 outings every day. Sometimes more if the weather is very nice that day. I have a very small apartment with plenty of open space for the pups to play. Because the space is smaller im able to keep an eye on them 24/7.
