“Nikki did such a wonderful job watching Reggie! Reggie can be very timid towards humans, but I didn’t have to worry about a thing and in fact Reggie really warmed up to Nikki and seemed so calm and relaxed when I returned. I would definitely recommend!!”

“We have used Isabella many times and she is amazing. It’s so nice to feel secure and knowing your fur babies are getting the care they deserve while you are away. She is very communicative and sends daily updates. Thank you Isabella!”

About: I took a break from sitting but am back and excited! We recently lost our sweet baby Knox, so we are now available to house sit + host babies at our apt. I grew up on a small farm in FL, so the knowledge of how to care for your pet is engrained in me. I have volunteered at local animal shelters all of my life and all of my personal pets have been rescues. I am experienced and comfortable with all breeds and ages. As you will see within my reviews, I will show the love and kindness to your baby that I know you are searching for. My 8 yr old son, Daniel (as seen in pictures) is with me for all services. He is incredible with animals of all personalities and interaction preferences. We’re excited to meet you and your babies :) 🏳️🌈 friendly 🫶🏻 I leave for work close to 730am and off work and back home about 430 pm. My focus is your baby when they are with me. Whether their preference are cuddles, long walks, socializing, dog parks, hikes, at home stimulation, etc- that’s our plan :) I am also an endurance runner and am happy to take your baby on a run! I can imagine that this decision is difficult to make, but I am dedicated to making your life easier and your pets life happier. Pets aren't just pets - I will treat yours as if they were mine.
“Heidi was amazing!! She watched our cat during our wedding weekend and she never once made me think that our little buddy wasn’t loved and taken care of the whole time. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!!”

“Always love having Patrick watch my pups. He is super respectful of the house, kind to the dogs, and keeps me up to date with photos and videos. He is the best!”

“Saunie is an especially wonderful housesitter because she really spends a lot of time in my home with the dogs which is a great comfort to them. I don’t have to worry that the dogs are left alone for hours.”

“Tiffany is a fantastic dog sitter. She’s great with my dog and very communicative. I come to a clean house and a happy dog every time. She’s quickly becoming my go to sitter.”

“A top tier sitter. We’ve used her for two long trips now and each time she has went above and beyond with our dogs! We will continue to use her for any trip she is available for!!”

“Liz is absolutely lovely and really took care of our Cosmo! She is respectful, attentive, and a great communicator. She asked great questions and made both us and Cosmo feel comfortable. Wonderful all around experience!”

“Madison provided excellent help in housesitting for Macie. Macie was a very happy dog with Madison and did all of her normal activities which is good since she is a senior dog and enjoys being at home and having Madison watch her.”

“Calli is the best! She’s watched our pup Odie twice now. Odie immediately took to Calli and just loves her. Our house is always exactly as we left it. Definitely recommend!”

About: I've been caring for dogs, cats, and other pets for over 10 years, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with animals. I previously had two Labradoodles of my own, and today I'm a proud cat parent to two spoiled kitties who are my whole world! I have experience with pets of all sizes and personalities—from tiny Shih Tzus to giant but gentle Irish Wolfhounds even bearded dragons—and I understand that every animal has unique needs, routines, and quirks. Having lived with cats throughout all four years of college and cared for pets in a variety of settings, I know how important it is to earn each pet's trust and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I work fully from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day. I'm available for early morning, evening, and nighttime visits, as well as weekends, and I'm happy to work with your pet's regular routine whenever possible. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I know that every pet is happiest when they can stick to their normal schedule, so I'll follow your care instructions closely. In your home, I'll treat both your pet and your space with the same care and respect I would my own. I'll make sure doors, gates, and harnesses are secure, keep a close eye on your pet during each visit, and provide plenty of love and attention while you're away. I also believe communication is key, so you can expect regular updates and photos, giving you peace of mind that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Becca was amazing! We have three dogs who can be a little crazy and reactive but she had no issues with their issues. She let me know when there was minor issues with their meds due to them being picky and was able to course correct and find solutions. Would 100% book again!”
“We loved Ashley! Our dogs were so relaxed and took right to her. She made sure to give updates and be most caring of them. In all the pictures we saw tail wags and belly rubs being given. Thanks again Ashley!!”
“Loren is so caring with our dog and cat and always sends great pictures to show they’re having a good time. Very communicative and prompt. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“This was our first time using Rover, and we feel lucky to have found Stephany! She sent us thorough daily updates and photos of our boy living his best dog life. This gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our trip. Stephany was also respectful of our home and left it as she found it. We highly recommend Stephany and will definitely book with her again!”

“Taylor was amazing with our senior pup! She made sure our girl was cool enough with this summer heat and gave her lots of love! She sent us the cutest videos and pictures while we were away for a long trip and provided peace of mind so we could enjoy our vacation. We are so thankful we found Taylor and will be booking again!”

“Makena was great! She was timely, reliable, sent photos and updates, and communicated. She stayed the night in our home and was a great guest. I would use her again for sure!”

Bryce is absolutely remarkable! Our 2 dogs loved her, and she took excellent care of them. She stayed in our house during our absence and left the place absolutely clean. One had to really look to see any evidence of her even using the place. Her medical skills make her an invaluable choice for pet sitting. Too bad there aren't 6 stars I could award her.
Robyn was awesome, took wonderful care of Cammie and Cammie really enjoyed staying with her. She went way above and beyond while staying in my home. Robyn sent lots of pics and I felt very comfortable leaving Cammie with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy sitter!

Rebecca is the most wonderful pet sitter ever. The care, the follow up, the kindness and professionalism are what makes Rebecca so great. We have a testy Chihuahua and a needy Dalmatian that Rebecca won over. We will reserve her for our next trip. We will highly recommend Rebecca to all of our friends and family.

We had a great experience with Tom! He stayed at our house for a week to watch our two dogs and took excellent care of them. He kept us updated with photos, reached out whenever he needed, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. You can tell that he really enjoys being around dogs. We came home to two happy pups and a well-cared-for home. We’d definitely recommend him and would happily have him pet sit for us again.

Becca was amazing! We have three dogs who can be a little crazy and reactive but she had no issues with their issues. She let me know when there was minor issues with their meds due to them being picky and was able to course correct and find solutions. Would 100% book again!
Cailey was absolutely amazing with our pups. It was one of the first times we had a sitter stay with them while we were out of town and I couldn't have hoped for a better sitter. Cailey is clearly a dog person and understands their quirks and specific needs. She gave us updates often and left our house in even better shape than we left it. We will definitely be using Cailey again!!

Isaiah house sat for our 2 older dogs. His communication was great and did well with dogs. Gentle manner and seems to really like dogs. Came for a free meet and greet with them prior to dog sitting. He even sent pictures of the dogs, which helps when we’re away from them. He also gave the medicine to the dogs just fine, which was really important. We plan to use him again.

Taylor was amazing with our senior pup! She made sure our girl was cool enough with this summer heat and gave her lots of love! She sent us the cutest videos and pictures while we were away for a long trip and provided peace of mind so we could enjoy our vacation. We are so thankful we found Taylor and will be booking again!

Loren was fabulous! She took great care of our senior Maltese, Remy. She had great communication and photos, and she was also extremely flexible and friendly. Loren offered to stay a little later as she knew our flight was delayed. It was so helpful that she was able to stay until we were on the flight and on our way home so that Remy would not be alone. I really appreciate the way Loren cared for Loren. I highly recommend Loren and would definitely ask her back:)

I cannot say enough good things about Johnae. She was very communicative and loving towards our pets and we came home to a clean home. Johnae is a kind soul who has professional experience with animals and someone I would highly recommend to take care of your pet or home.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Foxfield on Rover is $48.21 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Foxfield walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Foxfield maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Foxfield choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
