I have personally owned and cared for pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and lizards, for 35 years. I have a great love for animals and it is extremely rare to meet a pet that doesn't immediately love me. My friend calls me a dog whisperer because I was able to work with her rescued cocker spaniel, getting him to allow grooming and ear care. (He had previously been abused and would growl and snap at anyone who tried to use a brush on him or treat his ear infections. He even had to be sedated for grooming sessions! He now is happy to be brushed and groomed and only grumbles a bit on getting medicine in his ears - who doesn't, right??) For in house boarding, though I work away from home most days, I have a dog door that only allows pets with a special tag on their collar in and out privileges. My pup LOVES being able to go in the big backyard as needed!! (My dog is a follower and has not met another dog that he doesn't like. My cat walks on a leash and at the vet's office will walk up to greet dogs. Friends have often left their dogs with me when needing boarding.) For housesitting and pop in visits, I am extremely responsible and have done this for friends on multiple occasions. Regardless of how I am caring for your pet(s), I will care for them as my own. They will get cared for according to your directions and TONS of snuggles!!
