“Hadia did a great job watching our puppy, Maggie. She sent pictures and updates during the day and Maggje warmed up to her immediately. I would definitely hire Hadia to watch our pup in the future!”

“Ayla and Han did a great job caring for our dog while we were out of town. They sent updates as often as requested and have always been very responsive and professional. They stayed at our house while we were gone and left our house spotless. I would highly recommend!”

“Riese went above and beyond in every way. She has a calm demeanor, perfect for my normally skittish cats. Each day, she sent sets of photos with updates about how they were doing. In each photo, the cats looked happy and relaxed. When I returned home, the house was clean, straightened up, and vaccumed--an unexpected bonus! I would highly recommend Riese and will definitely have her care for my cats again!”

“Polina was amazing! I think this was her first time on Rover or doing house/dog sitting, but she was fabulous. She was so communicative and was clearly taking very good care of our two dogs. She left the house spotless and was incredibly considerate. We'll definitely ask Polina to care for our dogs again!”

“Morgan is just amazing. Communicating was great back and forth, even when our flight plans had to change. She took excellent care of our doggies and our house. She was here with the dogs for the vast majority of the day, which was important to me. She is my go-to sitter going forward.”

“Nikki did such a wonderful job watching Reggie! Reggie can be very timid towards humans, but I didn’t have to worry about a thing and in fact Reggie really warmed up to Nikki and seemed so calm and relaxed when I returned. I would definitely recommend!!”

“This was our first time using Rover, and we feel lucky to have found Stephany! She sent us thorough daily updates and photos of our boy living his best dog life. This gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our trip. Stephany was also respectful of our home and left it as she found it. We highly recommend Stephany and will definitely book with her again!”

“Hannah was so sweet with Yogi, she sent daily updates with pictures. She took great care of the house as well which was completely unexpected but very appreciated! Would 10/10 recommend and we hope to use her again in the future!”

“Madeline went above and beyond during her stay! She was on time, provided exceptional cared for my animals & house, and sent me plenty of videos/pictures for me while I was gone. She even cleaned up the guest room when she didn’t have too as well. She was absolutely AMAZING and would recommend her any day of the week!”

“Karington was great with our senior dog and cat over the long weekend. We came back to well taken care of pets and home as if their routine was never disturbed. She sent great pics and updates while we were away to make us feel comfortable.”
“Cameron was great! He was very easy to work with and my doggo loved him. He left the house perfectly clean. I unfortunately had to cut my trip short so he didn't watch my dog for the full time, but I would definitely trust him house sitting again!”

“Mia was SO amazing! She was so attentive with the animals, respectful with our home, and a great communicator. I was able to relax on my trip and not have to worry about a thing!”

“Rachel was absolutely amazing! We have two needy dogs and she did wonderfully with them! She interacted with the dogs throughout the day kept us posted throughout the day! We hope to continue to use Rachel because she's fantastic!”

“I reached out to Nathan re: a VERY last-minute booking for dog sitting at my home. He was flexible in setting up a meet & greet around my schedule and adjusting the booking on the fly. He was communicative throughout and sent lots of pictures and videos. I came home to a happy, healthy dog, and a spotless apartment. Definitely recommend Nathan!”

“India did such a nice job taking care of my pup - I know they had a great time with lots of walks and playtime! She also left my house super tidy which is always nice to come home to.”

“Conrad was great with Myla! He took her on her daily walks, played with her outside, and was very attentive to her needs. Myla can be reactive and has a range of different temperaments, and Conrad did a great job handling her and making sure she was comfortable and well cared for. We really appreciated his communication and care while we were away. Highly recommend! 😊”

“Heidi and her son were absolutely wonderful pet sitters! Our dogs loved them, got lots of cuddles and Heidi was great about sending pictures. We would recommend them to anyone looking for sitters! Thank you Heidi for caring for our boys and home.”

Susie did a great job taking care of our pets while we were gone, sending lots of photos of the dogs, making us feel confident they were well taken care of. She kept my plants alive and left the house in great shape. We will definitely be asking her to petsit again!

Rachel did such a great job caring for our 2 huskies. She shared constant updates and provided amazing care for them. Both our girls were happy and relaxed when we got home! Will definitely be using Rachel again and recommend her for anyone looking for a dog sitter!

Carly provided excellent care for my three cats (at my house) over almost a holiday week trip. She was a clear communicator, provided updates and photos throughout the trip, and treated both the cats and the house as if it were her own. She played with the cats and brushed them, kept with their normal feeding schedule, provided daily medication to one cat, and left the house cleaner than she found it. She is kind, respectful, and trustworthy. I’d absolutely recommend Carly and use her again for pet sitting.

Nathan did a fabulous job taking care of our 4 pets this weekend- 3 dogs and 1 cat! He was very communicative and sent lots of updates and pictures. He followed our instructions closely and our pups seemed to really enjoy hanging out with him for a few nights. I highly recommend Nathan! He also cleaned our house before finishing up which was such a nice extra touch. Will book again in the future.

Revann was absolutely amazing! Our dog has separation anxiety when we leave town, so we’re always a little nervous leaving her. Revann made sure our girl got lots of love, attention, and playtime while we were away. She also worked with us to do a couple of visits before our trip so our dog could meet her and get comfortable with her. We will definitely continue using her for drop-ins and future trips. 10/10 recommend!!! 🐾❤️

Karington was absolutely wonderful! I have two large dogs and a cat. Both dogs have plenty of energy and have no sense of personal space. One is extremely high energy and all were super well taken care of and exercised. I was updated multiple times throughout each day for the entire trip. I cannot recommend or thank her enough for the peace of mind provided and the care for my fur babies.

Logan house-sat for our 2 dogs who are 10 and 14 years old, for eight days. He communicated daily and sent regular pictures of their activities with updates. Logan even bought them treats on his own before he left. Both dogs were obviously comfortable with him. Even after we arrived home, they continued to seek him out for attention. We will definitely continue to use his services!

We are so grateful for Ella. Thanks to her we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our home and Bella were in great hands. Bella is skeptical of strangers and takes a while to adjust to people and changes in her daily routine. Ella gave her space to adjust and very soon Bella was eating & sleeping well along with following Ella around the house.
Lou is wonderful! My little pup is kind of a tricky guy; he has some trouble eating, can be reactive to other dogs, doesn’t like children, and needs lots of exercise. Lou made sure he ate (even if she had to spoon feed him to get him started!) gave him long walks, and managed his reactivity beautifully. She sent plenty of photos and updates, and clearly spent lots of time loving up on my canine bestie while I was away. Will definitely book with Lou again!
Kinta was so great! I needed a last minute dog sitter and she was a complete life saver who took great care of my senior baby. I got regular updates with photos and videos that put me at ease while I was away. I would definitely recommend her and use her in the future.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Greenwood Village walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Greenwood Village maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Greenwood Village choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
