“Dan was so great with our geriatric mini dachshund, Honey. He sent me pics of her having fun, eating, and cozied up resting. My husband said Honey seemed sad to come home because she was so spoiled with Dan. I would definitely ask Dan to watch her again in the future. Thank you!”
“Brenda took great care of Eva! She spent the first day at home to be sure Eva felt comfortable in her temporary home. She sent many pictures of Eva watching tv and napping on the couch. Eva even ate, on other occasions she would not eat for a day or two. I was very pleased with the care Eva received and will be booking with Brenda again. Thank you Brenda for piece of mind when leaving my sweet baby!”

“Gina and Brett took great care of Sophie! They played lots of ball, said they had fun with her and that she is welcome back. We will definitely use them again!”

“Finding Stefanie and Ben has me feeling enormously grateful. It has been years since I needed someone outside my immediate circle to watch Cheyenne, but after our meet and greet, I knew I got lucky and met some wonderfully caring people. Logistically smooth, entertaining updates, and easy dialogue, all helped to put me at ease and focus on enjoying my vacation. Next time I travel, they'll be my first call!”

“Shawna put my mind at ease while I was gone for a long trip! This was my first time using a sitter for a 10 day trip so I was nervous but Shawna was willing to do a trial overnight and spend an hour with me going over the training we’re working on. She provided updates and let me know what they were getting up to, which was much appreciated.”

“Liz was amazing and took such great care of my dog, Pocket! She was very responsive, sent updates throughout the day, and made Pocket feel comfortable in a new environment. Would definitely book with Liz again in the future!”

“Tiffany watched my dog during our wedding weekend. She did amazing, took great care of our dog, and had her coming back exhausted after playing with other dogs all weekend!”

“Kendall was so attentive to my Sophie, girl. Sophie got tons of opportunities during the week to play with other dogs and play outside. Kendall sent photos of Sophie which was really appreciated.”

“Carly & Hunter were fantastic! They were so kind and great towards my dog. They played fetch, walks, and lots of cuddles. Tilly is also the sweetest dog! 100p will ask them to sit again!”

“Our pup had such a good stay with Nick and his dog, honey! We got regular updates and felt so much better leaving knowing our guy was in good hands ◡̈ would definitely book again!”

“Our pup had the best time with Heather and her pets! This was our first time boarding our 7 month old puppy and Heather was great at keeping us updated and making us feel super comfortable with leaving our puppy. Her puppy and ours became best friends, and had so much fun! We would definitely recommend and use Heather’s services again.”

“Vlad was great! He was very knowledgeable about cats and sent an update every morning. My cat usually has a hard time when boarding, but she came out and interacted with him.”

“From the moment we met Skye, we knew Finley would be well cared for. She gave him so much love and even let him sleep on the bed. When we picked him up, he didn’t want to leave! We would absolutely recommend Skye to anyone looking for great care for their pet.”

“So thankful for LaDonna. She took great care of our dog, Gus. She treated him like her own with lots of pets, special food, walks, and lots of love. Gus has separation anxiety from our family, and she made him feel safe and loved. I will definitely call her next time to take care of our dog.”

“I would give 10 stars if I could. Tim is great with Cabi and Nugget. Nugget is usually shy around people he doesn't know. He was laying on Tim's lap within hours of being there. I highly recommend Tim. It is comforting to know my pups are well taken care of when I have to board them.”

“I’m always a little nervous leaving my dogs with anyone, especially since I have a 9 month old puppy and a 3 year old Miniature Pinscher. But Katya was amazing. She took such great care of them and kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which really helped ease my mind while we were away for 4 days. Both dogs came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious they got plenty of attention and were treated like part of the family, not just watched. I would absolutely book with Katya again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive.”

“Oahn was lovely! Very friendly, had a nice house that i'm sure my dog enjoyed, and her children were SO excited to see my pup! I'd be happy to have her babysit my dog again.”

“We had to book a last minute week long overnight trip and Sean was quick to respond. He is a great communicator and sends lots of pictures. We would highly recommend!”

“Norma was a wonderful sitter for our pets while we were on a trip. She was flexible, accommodating and gave us great peace of mind that our dog and senior cat were very well taken care of. She messaged us with updates daily, and was easily able to handle special situations like meds and a bandage. Our cat and dog loved her house, which had a big fenced yard and even a catio. They had their own vacation too! We are so thankful for her!”

“Nelson was amazing with our boy, Joey! It was low-stress and easy communication and I loved getting photo updates of their fun. Joe is typically an anxious dog but Nelson was great with him and got him out and about, which we really appreciate! I definitely recommend Nelson!”

Deshaunne did a wonderful job watching our dog Hutch while we took a quick weekend trip away. Lots of walks and updates and photos! We were very pleased with the level of communication and updates. Deshaunne is very friendly and took great care of our pup. Will be using her again!
All of the positive reviews about Mary are correct! My dog Evie stayed with her for nine days while I was away on business. From our first meet and greet she was asking thorough questions and wanting to make sure Evie would have as comfortable an experience as possible! Throughout the time, she provided regular updates with photos and asked questions. I look forwarding to boarding with Mary again and highly recommend her!

This is the second time Oanh has watched Eros and we so appreciate how thorough she is in sending updates everyday and how patient she is with him. He’s a senior dog who is quite anxious his first few days around strangers but she and her kids have done such great job making him feel comfortable. I was so happy to see videos of them hanging out and walking with other pups. Highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs!

Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
