About: I’ve been around dogs since I can remember! My family loves all dogs and currently have two of our own! I’ve grown up walking, feeding, bathing, and taking care of our pets for years! I am happy to walk or run with your dog/dogs! I am also willing to walk more than one dog at a time. I am recently graduated from college and living at home. I work full time from home so I have the flexibility to take care of whatever your pet needs. I have some free time almost everyday, though advanced noticed is needed with my schedule. My family back home has one dog and one cat and a huge fenced in yard. We also live in a neighborhood that allows us to walk our dog regularly and for a while at a time. He loves going on long walks and playing!

I am current available to take care of pets during the day and overnight. I am in between jobs and have time to help you when you need. About: Growing up with dogs has given me experience with all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I enjoy spending time with them and strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I have also cared for dogs with special medication and food needs. My schedule is variable since I work as a nurse, but please feel free to message me as my availability is always changing. I am currently a full time nurse, so I work three days a week at the hospital. Pet care can fit into my routine easily, but my availability does change weekly! With enough notice, I can tailor my schedule for longer stretches of care. Please let me know if you have special requests or need some extra assistance. I believe pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I focus on keeping their routine consistent. I’ll make sure they are fed, exercised, loved, and cared for according to your instructions, while giving them plenty of companionship and keeping you updated throughout my visits. If the animal isn’t as comfortable around strangers, I will use a calm and slow approach to gain their trust. I believe in following their cues.
“Kara really helped us out last minute and was so accommodating! Our one dog is also a bit nervous with some negative behaviors and Kara was so understanding, patient, and great with her! Thanks Kara! We will definitely be booking again!”
“Lee-Anna was so wonderful. Super easy to get in contact with and very flexible. I needed someone to walk my dog ASAP due to having to stay late at work unexpectedly. Lee-Anna was so quick to get over there to help me out. My dog had an accident on the carpet and Lee-Anna even cleaned it up for me. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take GREAT car of their precious animals. I plan to use Lee-Anna again in the future!!”

About: Typical Drop in Availability: M-F: Available on nights only (after 6pm) Weekends: Usually available all day Over 50 years of pet experience between the two of us! Stephanie has owned dogs and cats, works for the Meow Cat Rescue WV, and spends time every week tending to Petco cats and fostering kittens when needed. When she sees a dog out in public she must pet it. People know she loves animals and ask her constantly to watch their pets. Tyler has been known as a “cat whisperer” of sorts and has grown up with cats and has become accustomed to these fickle but amazing animals. He also loves walking and playing with dogs. Dogs love him too because he can throw a tennis ball really far. We currently have two boy cats, Romeo and Mac (Beth) and they are spoiled. If they could speak English they would say that we are good fur parents.
“Katelyn is outstanding. Reliable, friendly, loving, and attentive to details. Her debriefs of each walk make me smile and fill me in on how my animals are doing. Thank you Katelyn for everything!”

About: I’ve spent over 25 years caring for animals—fostering and adopting puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats, and working with a number of rescues and shelters here in the Denver area. I have experience with many different breeds, personalities, and ages, and I always aim to provide care that’s as unique and special as your pet. I’m a retired RN and bring that background into my pet care as well. I’m comfortable administering medications, including oral meds, injections, and subcutaneous fluids, and I’m attentive to any changes in behavior or health. You can feel confident that your pet is in capable, caring hands. I provide drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight visits. Being retired, I have a flexible schedule and am usually available during the day to give your pet the attention and care they need. We recently said goodbye to our sweet dog Aspen, who brought so much joy and fun to our home for 12 years. She was a foster whom we adopted at 10 weeks from Life is Better Rescue. She was the kind of dog who loved to play and helped me connect with so many wonderful pets and their people. Her memory continues to guide the compassion and love I bring to every visit. Whether your pet needs a potty break, medication support, a walk, or just some companionship, I’d be honored to help. As a retired RN, I have a flexible schedule and am home most days. This allows me to provide reliable, unrushed care and attention to your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I'm reliable, gentle, and experienced—offering trustworthy, attentive care in a calm and nurturing environment. I am not currently offering in home boarding.

About: Hi I’m Shelby! I was an executive director for over 10 years in senior living and have taken a step back from the corporate lifestyle. I have had dogs my entire life and absolutely love animals. I have a dog named Koda who is a trained service animal. She is gentle and kind and will play tug of war with other dogs. I view dogs as family members and will treat your dog as a family member while you are away ♥️ I currently am not working and can dedicate my day to taking care of your dog. Depending on your dogs personality I am happy to play with them in the backyard, go on walks, help with minor training, and relax on the couch together. If I do need to leave for a few hours just let me know if your dog prefers to be in a crate or can roam about the house. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible. I am happy to do exactly what you need. It’s ideal to keep dogs in their routine and I will assist with that. I am patient and will spend the time needed to make sure they are comfortable and you know your dog is cared for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Castle Pines
We had such a wonderful experience with Shaun! Our dog Leo has pretty significant anxiety, and we’ve always been hesitant to hire a dog walker—we usually stick to boarding him at someone’s home where he can slowly warm up. So this was a big step for us. We scheduled a meet-and-greet with Rhi and Shaun, but it’s not enough time for a dog like Leo to feel comfortable. We honestly left feeling pretty anxious about how things would go, especially since Leo takes a bit longer to open up with guys. But Shaun completely exceeded our expectations. He was incredibly patient, calm, and understanding with Leo, taking the time to work through his anxiety at Leo’s pace. By the end of the visit, he had not only gained Leo’s trust enough to take him on a walk, but it genuinely felt like he was on his way to becoming Leo’s new best friend. What stood out the most was how Shaun put both Leo and us at ease. He removed all of our doubts and anxiety, which is no small thing for pet parents of an anxious dog. We’re so excited to continue working with Rhi and Shaun and can’t wait to see Leo fully open up and build that bond with them. Highly recommend!

Katie has been doing weekly walks for us for several years. She is an absolute joy and Sherlock couldn't be more excited when she arrives. He's a senior dog and she does an amazing job adjusting their pace depending on how much energy he has that day. We absolutely adore her.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
