“Elsa had a fantastic stay with Polly, Jeremy and their family. She got to run outside in their yard which she loved. She played her favorite game of tug of war and made lots of new friends. When we brought her home she was worn out and slept for ages. She was amazingly taken care of with plenty of mental stimulation, physical activity and love. We will definitely book with Polly and Jeremy the next time we head out of town and need to have our furry family member looked after!”

“Jen was amazing. My dog had the best time with her, playing in the yard and in the sprinklers. He came back exhausted. Jen was supper communicative and willing to accommodate a later flight. I will definitely reach out to her next time I need a sitter.”

“Amber provided excellent care for my two dogs! They had a blast and enjoyed daily updates with plenty of photos. She followed all instructions meticulously. Highly recommended for worry-free dog sitting!”

“William & Daniela took great care of Riley on a short notice, and provided daily updates with photos! Riley felt right at home with them + their dog :) definitely recommend for in-house sitting!!”

“I really can't say enough about how truly wonderful Brenda is. I have never felt so at ease leaving my baby girl with anyone. She communicates daily on your dog, sends the cutest little update videos and pictures. Lilah looked so happy with her and I am so grateful for Brenda's help and care for Lilah. ❤️❤️”

“So amazing and had such peace of mind leaving our puppy with Danielle! We met her and instantly felt at ease knowing he would be taken care of. Extra perk she was conveniently located for our situation! You’re the best! Thanks for all the pictures and reassurance!”

“Kari was great and super easy to communicate with! She took great care of Lakota and we felt comfortable knowing she was in great care! We would use her again and highly recommend her as a sitter.”
“Joni and Bill were incredible. They watched my dog while we traveled home for the holidays and sent plenty of photos and updates throughout my dog’s stay with them. My dog barely wanted to leave when I came to pick her up, she loved this family! I would absolutely choose Joni and Bill to pet sit for us again.”

“This was out first time leaving our dog for a few nights with Brooke and Nathan. He’s been for day care but we weren’t sure how he’d do with overnights. Well he appears to be a little annoyed that I’ve picked him up. 😂 Brooke and Nathan took very good care of him and sent pictures of his playtime. They assured me he was eating well and sleeping fine. ❤️”

“Frank was so wonderful with my puppy Penny! He was consistent in updates and pictures, and had excellent communication throughout my time away. He has a loving family in cap hill, and I know Penny was showered with love and attention during her entire stay. He has a daughter, Reagan, who fell in love with my pup, and I was so happy Penny had a little girl to play with! I definitely plan on contacting Frank again when I am in need of a babysitter that I trust to give my puppy the TLC she needs!”

“Kaia loved her stay with Sara and Ryan! She came home happy, clean and very tired. She seemed to really enjoy playing with their two golden retrievers too. They were very communicative and sent pictures of daily activities, which we so appreciated. Kaia will be back again soon. Thank you guys!”

“From start to finish, we were extremely satisfied by our experience! Tasha was responsive to all messages in a timely manner. More importantly, our two dogs were well-loved & cared for by Tasha and her family during our week away. We got pictures of them playing and napping during their stay. When we picked them up, they were clean and happy. We got two lovely cards about our puppies from one of the young caregivers. I can’t recommend Tasha’s services highly enough!”

“Kim & Audreanna took great care of my dog! Great communication, and available with short notice. Large secure yard. I felt comfortable for my dog who likes to escape! I will definitely rebook next time.”

“Gabriela took care of Zola superbly. She was very communicative and treated Zola like family over the holidays. I really appreciated Gabriela's willingness to do play dates before the visit to ensure Zola was comfortable with the family and their dog. Would definitely love to have Zola be taken care of by Gabriela and her family again!”

“Ryan has a great place for dogs to roam and hang out together. He sends updates and is flexible and accommodating. I was confident that Hershey was being well taken care of throughout my trip which was a huge relief. Will definitely contact Ryan again in the future when looking for somewhere to leave Hershey.”

“Lindsey was great. She was super flexible with our pick time which makes our trip that much easier. Always responsive, takes plenty of photos, and is great with our dog”

“This was our first time using Rover, and we couldn’t be happier with the love and care Danielle and her family gave our dog, Penny. From the very start, Danielle made us feel more comfortable with the whole process. Danielle is communicative, respectful, and truly cares about the dogs she brings into her home. From our first meet and greet, it was obvious she wants it to be a positive experience for everyone. After having Penny stay for a half day, we knew we felt comfortable leaving her with Danielle and her family when we went away. Every day, Danielle sent us updates and photos, which we absolutely loved. Penny loved all the attention and play time she got with Danielle’s kids and their dog, Rex. In the future, there’s no question we would love to have Penny stay with Danielle and her family again!”

“Kaylee is AMAZING! She went above and beyond taking care of our dog over a long weekend! She did so many different activities with him and sent us multiple pictures and updates every day! We cannot thank her enough for taking such good care of our dog! We highly recommend her and can’t wait to use her again in the future!!”

About: What sets me apart is lifelong animal experience caring for cats, dogs, injured pets, expecting dogs, and ill animals. I've pet sat for 6 years and am experienced administering medications orally and via injection with patience, compassion, dignifying , and attentive care. I currently have 2 little ones in school/camps and am part time- this leaves lots of room for adding some walks, cuddles, pets and car rides! I love taking pups on long walks, whether its up hill burning off the zoomies or slow calm strolls though the shady parts of the neighborhood. I'm happy to sit at your home and offer comfort and routine for your babies! Lots of my work can be done via laptop if you'd like me to hang out at all during drop ins or over night. Safety, comfort, and compassionate care are always my top priorities. As a Pet Parent myself, I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I strive to give both you and your pet complete peace of mind, treating them with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own!

About: I will love your dog like my own while they are with me. I don't have a dog right now so I can really make your dog feel special, give them the attention they deserve, and make them feel at home. I love being active outside with the dogs whether it's just playing out in the backyard or going on a long hike. While you are gone, I want your dog to feel like they are on the best vacation ever. I used to have a 90 lb Husky/German Shepherd mix so I do love big dogs. I also had a 40 lb rescue that I trained. I do have a fenced in backyard, so we try to be outside as much as possible when it's nice out! I am a teacher who has the summers off! I have plenty of time in the summer to spend with your pup to make them feel at home! I sometimes work a few hours a day so dogs will have to be alone for about 4 hours. In August, I do go back to teaching full time so I can definitely still care for your dogs but I am gone from 8a-4p most days during the school year:-( I have a fenced yard so we are able to spend lots of time outside. We have lots of great areas to walk to and play depending on what your dog enjoys! I do allow pets on the furniture but can also enforce rules if you want to stay consistent with training.
“Nicole was great! She updated us every day about how our cat was doing, clearly gave our cat lots of attention and play time during her check-ins, and included pictures which helped us feel at ease. We will definitely use her again.”

About: As someone with my own cat, a sweet and silly black cat named Juno, I understand the nuances of cat behavior and how different caring for cats is from dogs. From cleaning the litter box multiple times a day, to provide mental stimulation, I am prepared for the various responsibilities that come with caring for a cat. I will also go the extra mile of leaving your home cleaner than you left it!
About: I have had pets since I was a child. When I moved to my own home I got birds, cats and then dogs. I am familiar with ALL situations involving pets. My current dog is an Emotional Support Animal and soon to be a Pet Therapy Dog! I work part-time and have a very flexible schedule for day care, visits with your animals or overnight stays. I will work with you to try and meet your needs. I have a fenced yard and a well behaved Golden doodle who loves to play with others. I have plenty of toys for dogs and can crate if necessary but I like to see the animals run free.

About: I’ve been taking care of my own cats for over 8 years now. One of my older cats was required medication that he had to take twice a day and I would constantly help to make sure he was taking it. I currently live with a cat of whom I make sure is comfortable and happy!

About: I grew up with cats and have cat sat for many years. As a dedicated cat lover, I understand that every cat has unique needs and deserves personalized care. I provide reliable, attentive visits, plenty of affection, and regular updates so you can feel confident your cat is happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I treat every cat like they are my own. I am patient, gentle, and pay close attention to each cat’s personality and needs. I have experience with shy cats, playful kittens, and senior cats who need extra care. I am comfortable giving basic medications, following special feeding routines, and keeping things calm and consistent. I have been doing this for 5 years and love it. I also send regular updates and photos so you feel relaxed while you’re away. Your cat’s comfort and safety always come first.
“Sarah was outstanding as a home/cat sitter. She took careful notes and photos of instructions as we did the meet and greet in my home. Also, it was clear from the photos she sent me when I was away that my two kitties warmed up to her and that she entertained and cared for them. I can't say enough good things about her and will have her stay at my home with my kitties again!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I'm a huge animal lover and I promise to love and spoil your pups as if they were my own! I will hang out at home with your pups! Lot's of play time, love and affection. We can go on walks if it's a nice day, or just snuggle on the couch if that's what they like! I have a 6 foot fenced backyard and two friendly Goldendoodles to keep your fur baby company! I can also crate your pup if that's what you would like.
About: Over the past five years living in Steamboat Springs, I’ve cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities: from playful puppies to 120 lb Newfoundlands. I trained my own Blue Heeler from puppyhood to full obedience, so I understand the patience and consistency it takes to guide a dog through every stage of life. I've also ranchsat, caring for not just dogs, but horses, donkeys, and more so no animal is too big or too spirited for me! I bring a calm, confident energy that helps animals feel safe, loved, and understood. I’m off for the summer months, which means I have a super flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I’m happy and eager to help whenever you need. Your pets safety and comfort come first. I stick to your routine, pay close attention to gates, leashes, and special needs, and create a calm, secure environment. I treat every home with respect and every pet like my own.

“Billie just stayed at our house for 18 days to watch our two cats (one senior and one teenager) & she is WONDERFUL! We had excellent communication leading up to the stay, regular feedback and pictures while we were gone, and we returned to a spotless house and two very happy cats. Billie is excellent at what she does for pets and we will absolutely use her again.”

“Amber kept Pebbles for a daycare. Pebbles had so much fun playing with her and her doodles. She was worn out after her playday! Amber sent pictures and updates. Perfect day for our girl! Hope to use her again!”

“Lottie had so much fun with Danielle! She went to day care for the first time, three days in a row and was so excited when she recognized where she was on day 2 and 3. She’s been exhausted each day and I feel so much better about her not having to be crated all day!”

“Sara and Ryan were awesome. We have a 4 year old German Shepherd, Kali, that can be a bit shy and they were great with her. It was easy to drop her off knowing she was going to be well cared for and have play buddies. We are already booking more days. :)”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid growing up with just about every kind of animal. Most recently dogs, cats, and horses. Growing up I always wanted to be a vet or wildlife biologist. I have been a pet sitter as well as a biology teacher for 20 years. I even received my pet CPR certification. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds and horses mainly. But absolutely love all animals and would care for them as if they were my own. I am currently finishing up my year as a teacher, but I am available on weekends. As the summer gets here, I will be available throughout the week anytime. Whether pets are in my home or in a clients, they are treated as if they were my own with all the love and care that they deserve.

About: 🏡 Meet Your Dog's Home Away From Home! Hi, I'm Heather, and I work from home full-time, giving me the unique ability to offer constant, attentive supervision of your pup. My home is already full of love, thanks to my resident doggos: Marvin (a friendly Old English Sheepdog) and Penny (a gentle Old English Sheepdog and Bernese Mountain Dog mix). They are social butterflies who adore making friends of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! 🐾 The Roxborough Adventure While we live in a 3rd-floor apartment, we believe in maximizing outdoor time and fun! Daily Chatfield Trips: We are approximately 6 miles from Chatfield Dog Park, and we make daily trips there. Your dog will enjoy endless roaming, socializing, and play potential in this massive, secure area. They'll come home happily tired! Active Fun: This means your pup gets high-quality exercise and mental stimulation every single day, perfect for high-energy breeds and dogs who thrive in an active pack. ✨ What Sets Me Apart I am capable of catering to a wide variety of breeds, ages, and personality types. My experience as a full-time dog mom to Marvin (an Old English Sheepdog) has given me key specializations: Grooming Expertise: I have a thorough understanding of the importance of daily grooming needs. If your long-haired or high-shedding dog requires daily brushing, ear cleaning, or quick touch-ups, that is absolutely no problem and will be included in their stay. 💖 The Next Step I would love to be your dog's happy home away from home! Please send me a message with a few details about your dog (age, breed, typical routine, and required dates), and let's set up a time for a Meet & Greet to ensure we're the perfect fit. 🗓️ Daily Pet Care Schedule & Routine Because I work from home full-time, pet care isn't just a side task—it is my daily routine. Your dog will receive constant companionship and supervision, integrating seamlessly into my relaxed and structured schedule. I am available for boarding or doggo daycare 7 days a week. 🛡️ Safety, Trust, and Environment My goal is to create a safe, consistent, and joyful environment that replicates the comforts of your home, with the added benefit of full-time, expert supervision. 🏠 Our Home Environment (Roxborough Area Apartment) Constant Supervision: As I work from home full-time, your pet is never left unsupervised. This allows for immediate response to any behavioral or safety concerns. Safe & Comfortable Space: My apartment is fully dog-proofed to be safe for all sizes, particularly giant breeds like Marvin and Penny. While we are on the third floor, all stair access is carefully monitored. The living space is cleaned daily, and we use only pet-safe cleaning products. Consistency: I strictly adhere to your dog's specific feeding, medication, and sleep schedules to minimize stress and maintain behavioral consistency. Dog-Friendly Pack: My resident dogs, Marvin (OES) and Penny (OES/Bernese), are vetted, friendly, and social. They provide excellent, positive companionship, but rest periods are always respected. ✅ Safety & Trust Protocols Leash Security: All dogs are securely leashed before exiting the apartment door. Vaccination & Health Checks: I require proof of up-to-date vaccinations and will communicate immediately regarding any signs of illness or injury. Emergency Plan: I keep local veterinary emergency contact information readily accessible. In the event of a critical emergency, my local knowledge of the Roxborough/Littleton area ensures quick transport to the nearest animal hospital. Communication: I provide daily updates, photos, and videos so you can see your pet is happy, safe, and enjoying their stay. 🏞️ Active Care & External Safety (Chatfield) Safe Transport: Dogs are secured in harnesses and appropriate seatbelts/crates during the short drive to and from Chatfield Dog Park. Outdoor Monitoring: During our daily Chatfield trips, dogs are always under my direct visual supervision. I ensure appropriate play interactions and monitor for signs of overexertion or stress, particularly during warmer weather. 🤝 Flexibility & Dog Park Policy A Note on Our Daily Chatfield Trips: I understand that not every dog thrives in a large, off-leash environment like a dog park. If you do not feel comfortable with your dog attending the daily Chatfield trip, that is absolutely fine! We will ensure your dog receives a focused, structured neighborhood walk, or dedicated play/enrichment time instead. If you are just unsure about how your dog might handle the park, I encourage you to discuss any concerns with me. We can talk through ways to make the visit comfortable, such as limiting the time, staying in a quieter area, or using a muzzle (if applicable), to ensure a positive experience for your dog. Hydration: Water is always readily available both inside my home and on every park trip. I believe safety starts with constant attention and expert handling, which my full-time work-from-home schedule provides.
About: I work in education and have summers (and holiday stretches) off. My dog recently passed away. He was a large / elderly / mobility-assisted / diapered / blind / medicated dog I had adopted almost 8 years ago. I had adopted a hospice dog in 2023 as well - she was a large breed with multiple cancers, so I am also familiar with that type of end of life care. I love dogs. I have used Rover often and now I would love the chance to use our empty home this summer to pet sit for others! I have an open summer! I work in education and have summers off. I do not have a schedule that I must adhere to. This is a flexible time for me. There are no other pets in our home. I know this is important for some to feel content with their pet being cared for, so this might fill a need that is harder to find!

“When my pup comes home, eats dinner and then crashes that’s the sign of a FUN day at doggy daycare! Gracie has been so tired each evening each time she has gone to Dawn & David’s! So grateful!”

“This was our first experience with Rover and with Crystal, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Our dog Beau loved spending time with her and her pup, they all got along great. Beau stayed for four days of daycare and was genuinely excited to arrive each morning, then pretty much sulked when we got home, which says it all. We would absolutely recommend Crystal and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

About: I have done fostering for several dogs and have a special fondness for older dogs. My dog Neko is very laid back and loves people and dogs. I am flexible for many types of situations - in my home, in your home, walks, feeding... I work at home so I can be available 24/7 if need be. We usually walk in the morning and afternoon, but that can also be adjusted. I have a courtyard off of a bedroom that is totally walled in, otherwise, we do not go outside unless on a leash. We have many sleeping places and blankets for snuggly comfort. I can be available 24/7 with your dogs. I love playing with and walking dogs. I even have a leash with a flashlight if we need to go out before bedtime. I like to engage with the pets all during the day and keep them active. I love cuddling and being by dogs while watching tv or reading.

I am a Colorado State University psychology student who is home for summer break. My availability is completely open so I am free whenever to come check on your pets! My own house is equipped with a mid size yard and a small doggy door. I do have a small dog and cat at my house that are friendly but still require proper introductions.

The only time I can’t work are the weekends unless I have them off. My backyard is fenced off. About every 30-45 minutes I let them out to go do their business or run around. Then I let them stay out a little longer if they’re enjoying themselves. Then bring them back in.
About: Hello, my name is Erika and I want to care for your dog! Ever since I can remember my family has had dogs as pets. I also have my own pup who has separation anxiety and some behavioral needs; so I have experience on how to care for a dog and their needs. Being active and walking or playing fetch with puppers is one of my favorite things to do, but I also know how to have a ‘good boy’ cuddle session to give your best friend the attention they need! Feel free to message me to ask any questions or book a time. I do work at a hospital, so it is difficult for me to have a consistent schedule. I would be a better fit for those looking for an every now and then walker, those going on vacation, or want their dogs walked a few days a week I greet each pupper as if they were my own fur baby; warm and welcoming. During walks I am always alert and aware of my surroundings to help maintain a sense of safety for dogs so they can truly enjoy their walk and not feel like they have to be a protector.
