About: I have been a passionate dog lover for most of my life, raising and caring for my own pups from puppyhood into their senior years. This lifelong experience has taught me how to read canine body language, respect their unique routines, and provide the exact balance of affection, play, and rest they need. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience house-sitting and pet-sitting for friends, neighbors, and family. I am familiar with managing diverse breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I treat every guest with the same patience, love, and vigilance as if they were my very own. Dog sitting fits naturally into my daily routine because I work part-time from home, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to provide attentive care. I'm available most weekdays and weekends for boarding, dog walking, drop-in visits, and other pet care services. Your dog will receive lots of attention, regular potty breaks, exercise, and companionship throughout the day, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play and explore safely, along with my friendly Golden Retriever, Zelda, who loves making new furry friends. I also have a 9-month-old baby who has been gentle and happy around every dog he's met so far, so it's important that your dog is comfortable around young children. I treat every dog like part of the family, providing plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and regular potty breaks. If your dog prefers some quiet time or needs their own space, I can easily create a separate, comfortable area to help them feel relaxed and secure. About: I am a former zookeeper with lots of experience with puppies and senior dog needs! I have created a separate space for dogs to feel cozy, safe, and have fun. I am home every day with my children with a very flexible family routine to center our day around guest dog’s needs. Guests will be given frequent outside breaks and ample attention. “I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. That takes a lot of “watching”. We live in Texas and were in Castlerock for our son’s wedding. I’m sure we will be visiting again, and if we need a dog sitter, Leah will be the first one we call. Additionally, I am more than happy to take them on frequent walks around the neighborhood to ensure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. It's worth mentioning that my husband shares the same love and affection for animals as I do.
