“Jenna did such a great job with my little girl. She came each day as requested and gave my pup lots of loves and attention. My dog just loved her! Especially after her walk on a cooler day!”

About: I will love your dog like my own while they are with me. I don't have a dog right now so I can really make your dog feel special, give them the attention they deserve, and make them feel at home. I love being active outside with the dogs whether it's just playing out in the backyard or going on a long hike. While you are gone, I want your dog to feel like they are on the best vacation ever. I used to have a 90 lb Husky/German Shepherd mix so I do love big dogs. I also had a 40 lb rescue that I trained. I do have a fenced in backyard, so we try to be outside as much as possible when it's nice out! I am a teacher who has the summers off! I have plenty of time in the summer to spend with your pup to make them feel at home! I sometimes work a few hours a day so dogs will have to be alone for about 4 hours. In August, I do go back to teaching full time so I can definitely still care for your dogs but I am gone from 8a-4p most days during the school year:-( I have a fenced yard so we are able to spend lots of time outside. We have lots of great areas to walk to and play depending on what your dog enjoys! I do allow pets on the furniture but can also enforce rules if you want to stay consistent with training.
About: I have over 4 years of experience in pet sitting, including caring for dogs with higher medical and daily care needs such as seizures, senior care, and medication administration. I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats and genuinely love working with animals of all ages and temperaments. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages, but have a personal love and soft spot for big dogs. I offer in-home stays, drop-in visits, and extended care ranging from day-long to month-long bookings. I’m a college student with full availability over the summer, so your pet(s) will be my top priority at all times. I am free both weekends and weekdays. I’ll be able to consistently care for your animals with regular walks, feeding, medication if needed, and lots of attention and care. I am an animal lover through and through; when I am with your pets, I will be constantly monitoring for safety and a positive environment. I follow each pet’s routine, ensure they are in a secure environment, and provide attentive supervision. I also have experience with both dog walking and in-home stays, and I adapt my care to meet each pet’s individual needs.
“Shelley did an awesome job of making friends with Oliver. Oliver is a very shy pup and yet Shelley was able to get him to go outside with her. Shelley sent pictures of Oliver to let me know that she had been here for her visit. It was great having her check on Oliver and I look forward to having her back again! Deborh”
About: I’ve house and pet sat around the world (mostly Colorado, UK, and EU) for everything from cats to puppies and hares to hound dogs: peacocks, a nd birds on occasion, too… I work remotely and am able to go pretty much anywhere as long as there is a decent internet connection. My family had mostly dogs and cats, but I’ve watched ranches with a huge menagerie of animals too Especially for dogs I walk and play with them multiple times a day and for cats I let them tell me what to do along with the regular watering, feeding, and cleaning litter boxes…
“It was easy to setup care for Meow with Danielle. She was also very easy to talk to and made sure Meow was well taken care of while we were away. She kept us updated and reached out if she had any questions. Thank you, Danielle!”

About: I have grown up with many different dogs in my life! I have had small, medium, and large dogs that all vary in energy levels. Most of my dogs have been senior dogs so I’m very well versed in how to take care of the older ones! I’ve had to move out away from my pets so I’m very sad to not take care of any of them right now but that makes me more excited to take care of ones that need it. I am a student so I will be gone for a couple hours during the day but my mornings and nights are completely free! I will also be able to stop by after class to check on your pets! The pets in my home get a lot of love and comfort. Most times the dogs in my house get snacks throughout the day and one full meal at night, but whatever your specific dogs needs are I can fulfill. My dogs are very energetic so I am accustomed to going for long walks at least once a day.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 5,251 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Twin Cedars. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Twin Cedars. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
