About: I’ve grown up with pets and have appreciated the bonds we form with them. I don’t trust people who don’t like animals! I’m not shy of big dogs or multiple cats, unusual routines or requests, and appreciate any questions or feedback you may have! I’m currently working only as a dog walker and pet sitter. I appreciate filling my calendar ahead especially with the coming holidays. Please don’t be shy about asking for future dates as they go fast! I typically don’t leave once I’m at a clients home with their animals. I’ll bring or order groceries for extended stays to avoid leaving your animals alone and flexible with routines and requests. About: I have watched multiple different dogs and cats throughout my years! Having two dogs of my own, and watching multiple different dogs, I love every minute of it! I am an EMT in Denver and also in paramedic school. I love hiking and being outside! Long walks with my dogs multiple times a day is one of my favorite activities. About: I've never lived a day without pets. I grew up in a house we lovingly called "the zoo," with three dogs and two cats. Coming home every day after school to that crew was the best part of my childhood. As an adult, I've walked, socialized, and cared for dogs of all sizes. Our first foster was a German Shepherd in 2019, and we were hooked. While living in Austin, we fostered 10–12 Golden Retrievers in a single year, and when the Austin Humane Society's air conditioning went out one summer, we stepped in to foster pets and keep them safe from the heat. Fostering taught me how to help animals settle into unfamiliar situations, read their body language, and adjust to each pet's personality and routine. That's exactly what I bring to every drop-in visit. We now live in Denver with our toddler, so we're taking a break from fostering, but we look forward to opening our home again when he's older. Until then, I'd love to stop by and care for your pets while you're away, whether that's a walk, a meal, medication, or just some company and attention. I'm the only person who will be caring for your pets. No one else will be assisting with visits. I'm between jobs and I have plenty of time to play with your pets. Ideal drop-ins would be between 9-6 but I'm flexible and I'm happy to do earlier and later drop-ins. Your pet's safety and comfort come first. Before the first visit, I'm happy to meet you and your pet so I can learn their routine, feeding schedule, any medications, and the little quirks that help them feel at home. During drop in visits, I'll stick to that routine as closely as possible: fresh food and water for dogs and cats, leashed walks for dogs, medications as directed, and time for play, pets, or quiet company. Before I leave, I'll double check that doors, gates, and windows are secure, and I'll treat your home with the same care I'd want for my own.
