About: I've been taking care of cats since middle school and have always loved their independence and sass. When I was a kid, my first pet was a cat I named Tiger. He was an indoor/outdoor cat who was super tough and did his own thing. Our first pet as a family was our tuxedo cat, Mario. We learned in Castle Rock that outdoor cats aren't the best idea with all the wildlife, so we only let him out when supervised. We really miss our kitties and can't wait to care for yours. They are all so different, and we love to see their personalities!
About: this is the first time in my life where I’ve owned a kitty but all my aunts and uncles and extended family like that has had cats, and I’ve always been obsessed with them. It’s just been really hard to have them growing up because my mom is allergic. So my knowledge on cats are still kind of growing, but I taken two consideration with any health issues or dietary issues that your animals might have.

“I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. Our senior Moose is more of a night owl who gets put to bed when he's good and tired, usually after he's fallen asleep. We understand that each routine is different and do everything we can to make our four-legged guests feel comfortable and at home. We have a four-foot fence in good condition around our yard and two friendly dogs. We are always happy to take any pets who like to jump over and explore, out on leash, and supervise playtime. We don't love dog parks for our pups but are happy to take yours if that is your preference. We know the personalities of all the dogs we pass each morning as we walk through the neighborhood, which allows us to adapt if your dog has any concerns about walking.

I’m currently raising my own pup (now 1.5 years old, with me since she was 11 weeks- shes a border collie black lab!), so I’m very familiar with the patience, consistency, and attention that puppies need during their early stages. I have a lot of real-life experience and genuine love for dogs. I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds and temperaments—including a senior golden mix, golden doodle, pit bull mix, and golden retriever—so I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique needs, whether that means high-energy playtime or slower, gentle care for older dogs. I’m very active and walk my own dog 5–10 miles daily, so I’m more than happy to accommodate dogs that need longer walks, lots of exercise, or outdoor time. At the same time, I’m attentive and patient with dogs who prefer a calmer pace. I also have experience with overnight and extended stays (up to two weeks) in both apartments and houses, caring for dogs for friends and family. I treat every home with respect and every dog like my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work as a manager at a studio 3 miles from my house so I can be very flexible with pet care! I am almost always available in the morning and some afternoons and evenings! About: IMPORTANT NOTE: I am a teacher, so I work from 7am to 4pm. I’ve been dog sitting for many years, caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personality types. Whether it's a dog walk, a drop-in visit, or an overnight stay, my main goals are simple: keep your pet happy, give them plenty of love, and make sure they get great exercise! As a school teacher, I have a very predictable routine that works wonderfully for pet care! My schedule makes it super easy to take on dog walks and drop-in visits before school (5:00 AM – 6:30 AM) and after school (4:00 PM or later). My availability opens up significantly during school breaks and throughout the summer! I always ask owners for detailed notes on food restrictions, meds, routines, and house rules so I can provide the exact care your pet is used to. I also build my schedule entirely around your pet’s needs—if they’ve been home alone during the day, I make sure to spend my evenings right there with them. (Bonus: I’m always happy to bring in the mail or care for your houseplants while you're away!) I look forward to giving your dog the best experience possible! Important Safety Note: I have a severe nut allergy! I am more than happy to give your pup any nut-free treats, snacks, or medicine pockets you provide. Please just let me know in advance if your dog uses peanut butter or nut-based treats so we can use a safe alternative while I’m caring for them. Since I am a school teacher, my schedule is pretty consistent for morning, afternoon and evening care. In the morning (5:00-6:30 am) I love to get the day started by moving my body, dropping in to get the dogs fed, and making sure they're set up for success before my day begins. In the afternoon and evenings (4:00 pm onwards) I like to destress the day by making sure pets are getting exercise and time outside. I dedicate my time to extra activities, such as pet care. I aim to ensure that your pets receive focused attention, exercise, and companionship while their parents are away. On weekends and school breaks, I am more flexible to do longer walks, drop-ins, and housesitting/dog sitting appointments. I am also more available to do midday appointments. I prefer to stay at the client's home for ease of care and pet emotions. While in the home, I abide by the client's rules/desires listed before leaving. I also make sure to stick to their normal schedule as closely as possible. While staying at the house, I will happily take care of trash/recycling, mail, and house plants. Unless permission was granted beforehand, I don't let anyone into your home and enjoy the alone time with dogs.

If you are looking for your dog to have social activity with a well behaved, healthy dog Thea would be more than happy to join a walk or play date. I am currently a student taking online classes, so my availability is open. I am very flexible and more than happy to be on your schedule! I have a fenced yard and my own dog is extremely friendly with other animals including small dogs. Inside of my home I do not leave things laying around that could potentially harm my own dog or others. My kitchen is clean and I don’t leave food out so a dog getting into something they shouldn’t would be very hard.
