About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and have always had dogs as part of my family. Over the years, I've cared for dogs for friends, neighbors, and family members, treating every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from young puppies to senior dogs. I've raised and trained puppies, helping them learn basic routines and good habits through patience and positive reinforcement. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medications and providing the extra attention and gentle care they need. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a home with a large, securely fenced yard where dogs can safely play, exercise, and explore. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I'll make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I'm happy to follow your instructions to keep them happy and stress-free. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in caring, reliable hands. Dog sitting fits naturally into my daily routine because I work part-time from home, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to provide attentive care. I'm available most weekdays and weekends for boarding, dog walking, drop-in visits, and other pet care services. Your dog will receive lots of attention, regular potty breaks, exercise, and companionship throughout the day, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I'm excited to provide a safe, loving, and family-friendly home for your dog while you're away. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play and explore safely, along with my friendly Golden Retriever, Zelda, who loves making new furry friends. I also have a 9-month-old baby who has been gentle and happy around every dog he's met so far, so it's important that your dog is comfortable around young children. I treat every dog like part of the family, providing plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and regular potty breaks. If your dog prefers some quiet time or needs their own space, I can easily create a separate, comfortable area to help them feel relaxed and secure. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home while you're away.
“Caelin & Josh are both very kind, super communicative, and really attentive to my dog’s needs, and it gives me so much peace of mind. Theirs dogs are also the sweetest, and it’s clear they create such a good environment for all pets”

“My pup had an absolutely wonderful stay for 4 days, she came home super happy and tired out each day. They were extremely accommodating and available on short notice. 10/10 would rebook”

“Nathan and Brooke were fantastic dog sitters. They took great care of Clifford all week during day care and clearly treated him like their own. He was happy, well cared for, and excited to see them each day. We really appreciated the updates and the peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring sitters.”

“Mélody is an amazing and caring dog sitter. She will make sure your pup is well taken care of, whether that’s making sure the pupper get enough exercise to making sure they’re not left alone if they have separation anxiety. She genuinely cares for the dogs she watches and it shows with how happy the dogs are to be there.”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs and cats, spending my life caring for them and making sure they feel loved and happy. Beyond my personal experience, I’ve also volunteered with rescue animal organizations, which has given me the chance to help animals in need and build even stronger skills in caring for them. Friends, family, and neighbors often turn to me as their trusted pet sitter, and I genuinely enjoy being there for their pets. I know how important it is for pet owners to feel confident and connected while they’re away. That’s why I’ll keep you updated regularly and happily share pictures of your pets during our time together—there’s nothing better than seeing them happy and relaxed. My priority is to make sure your pets are well taken care of so you can have peace of mind. I work from home, allowing me to provide a flexible schedule for your pets' potty breaks, frequent walks, and playtime. I live in a neighborhood with lots of walking trails and open spaces where I could take the dogs too (Only if the owner is comfortable with that) Your pets will receive double the care, attention, and love while they stay with us! Living in a house with a backyard , I have a spacious front and back yard where dogs can conveniently have their potty breaks. Moreover, my neighborhoods features a fantastic doggy park and trials providing an opportunity for your furry companions to enjoy the outdoors. Additionally, I am more than happy to take them on frequent walks around the neighborhood to ensure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. It's worth mentioning that my husband shares the same love and affection for animals as I do. Together, we take pleasure in making new furry friends and providing them with a warm and welcoming environment.

“Breanne and her family are amazing! Our pup loves playing with her dogs, and they are excited to see each other when we drop off. The daily pictures are also a treat to receive.”

About: Hello! I am a pet owner and fellow dog lover. I have over 25 years experience caring for my own pets, fostering pets, and pet-sitting for others. My house has always been the go-to house for friends, family, and clients who have needed pet care. Whether you need short-term or long-term care, I am able to provide a caring and friendly experience for your pet. Below is a list of a few of the services I have provided in the past and will provide for your pet: Provided in home daytime, evening and overnight pet care including: dog walks; fed meals; gave treats; refilled water bowls; cleaned litter boxes and other messes, play and cuddle time; administered oral and topical medications; date, time and description of services provided after each visit. I am a remote worker who works from home full time with a flexible schedule that allows for playtime, walks, and plenty of quality time. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood. I work from home so I will be able to keep an eye on your pet the entire day.
“Thank you so much for taking such good care of Sir Wayne and little Miss Yuki!!!! I can tell they were very much loved during their visit. They felt comfortable enough to give kisses and play! I’m just so grateful you were able to help and on such short notice. You guys are the best! And your dogs too were such good playmates for my fur balls of energy.”

“DeFi had a fantastic time at Kris’s place today! She updated me with timely pictures throughout his stay, which was reassuring. Kris was very communicative, and DeFi was exhausted from all the playtime with her dogs. He is a happy boy! I highly recommend her, and we’ll be back soon!”

“I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. That takes a lot of “watching”. We live in Texas and were in Castlerock for our son’s wedding. I’m sure we will be visiting again, and if we need a dog sitter, Leah will be the first one we call. Thank You so much Leah. 😊”

“My dog has anxiety issues, so when i need to leave him with sitters he normally has a hard time. Not with Kara! She took such good care of him, sent pictures to me all day and made sure Zeus was happy and taken care of! Thank you so much, Kara!!!”
About: I have been a passionate dog lover for most of my life, raising and caring for my own pups from puppyhood into their senior years. This lifelong experience has taught me how to read canine body language, respect their unique routines, and provide the exact balance of affection, play, and rest they need. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience house-sitting and pet-sitting for friends, neighbors, and family. I am familiar with managing diverse breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I treat every guest with the same patience, love, and vigilance as if they were my very own. I am available for dog walking and boarding any time. Currently I am working part-time at home and have plenty of time to play with your pups. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your pup if necessary. I will adapt to home preferences as well.

About: For the past 20 years, we've enjoyed sharing our lives with the pets we always wanted growing up. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness are our top priorities. We have 14 years of experience caring for cats and 6 years with dogs, including large breeds up to 100 pounds and dogs who are anxious or reactive on walks. My wife and I both work from home full time with flexible schedules, allowing us to provide dependable, attentive care throughout the day. We believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care. We'll do our best to maintain your pet's normal routine, reinforce the positive training you're already using, and help them feel comfortable while you're away. We're experienced with positive reinforcement, loose-leash manners, crate training, enrichment activities, and medication administration for both cats and dogs, including subcutaneous injections for cats. (Let's face it—the humans usually need the most training!) We know that exercise is only part of the picture, so we enjoy incorporating sniffing games, enrichment, and other mental stimulation, tailoring activities to your pet's age, personality, and energy level. We currently provide care in your home, including house sitting, drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, medication administration, and, of course, cuddles and companionship for pets who enjoy them. Our family includes two friendly Labrador Retrievers, Lulu (6½) and Moose (11½), who keep us active with hiking, fetch, and enrichment games. They've given us years of hands-on experience understanding dog behavior, meeting individual needs, and creating a fun, structured environment. While you're away, we'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. We understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and we'd be honored to earn that trust. We look forward to meeting you and your companion. My wife and I both work from home full time with flexible schedules, allowing us to provide dependable, attentive care throughout the day. Our day starts out with walks, rain or shine, and always includes fetch or tug sessions. Our dogs also love to play keep-away with us in the yard or house. We will provide whatever type of play your pet loves! Our yard is surrounded by our neighbors' yards, all of which are very quiet and usually empty. We have one friendly dog next door that is always taken in if she barks, so it's a good environment for more anxious animals. It's a very chill place to hang out, and we also have a back deck where our animals like to sun themselves, and a nice concrete patio shaded under the deck until the last 2 hours of the day. Our dogs go in and out all day as they please. If there is extra energy after dinner, we have a little more play time before we wind down. The humans usually hang out with the dogs in the family room at night watching or reading something. It's a great time for snuggles and scritches. We don't allow dogs on the couch, but we do get down on the rug and hang out with them at night. Our youngest dog Lulu usually decides when she wants to go to bed and lets us know. Our senior Moose is more of a night owl who gets put to bed when he's good and tired, usually after he's fallen asleep. We understand that each routine is different and do everything we can to make our four-legged guests feel comfortable and at home. We have a four-foot fence in good condition around our yard and two friendly dogs. We are always happy to take any pets who like to jump over and explore, out on leash, and supervise playtime. We don't love dog parks for our pups but are happy to take yours if that is your preference. We know the personalities of all the dogs we pass each morning as we walk through the neighborhood, which allows us to adapt if your dog has any concerns about walking.
“Darren takes great care of Marcy, providing photos and updates throughout the day. He was also very flexible and understanding, when I made a mistake and arrived late for pickup. Highly recommend!”

“We had a great experience! They sent lots of photos and kept us up to date throughout the day. Very welcoming and patient with our pups as they were very shy. Their dogs are very sweet and friendly! Definitely recommend!”

“My Vizsla was immediately at ease with Sarah and Darren. So comforting to know she was in loving hands. Will definitely book again!! Thanks, Sarah and Darren !!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
