“Bella had a great time at Jen’s! Jen did a great job w daily updates and pics. It was so nice to not have to worry about Bella while we were gone knowing she was well taken care of. I also really appreciated Jen’s flexibility with scheduling bc of a last minute flight change.”
“Ed, Gibson and Sarge had a great time and were very well taken care of at Tyler's place. He was very responsive and sent photos/updates during their stay. I highly reccommend Tyler!”

“Lucy had a great time at Breanna’s! I got updates of them at the dog park and her looking relaxed and happy throughout her stay. She even gave Lucy a bath! I’m so thankful to have found Breanna and will be using her again!”

“Easy to work with like always. I knew my dog was happy and safe in their home. He came home tired which is a good thing. Brooke was super understanding with my dogs health complications.”

“Ryan took good care of our pups while we were away and was very understanding with our anxious baby! He provided updates with how things were going and was great to work with!”

“Danielle and Jackson boarded my kitty for a few days and they were the best! They took such great care of her and made her feel at home, which is not an easy task because my kitty is very nervous. They are awesome communicators, sent lots of photos and videos and updates! Highly recommend them!”

“Jess and her family were amazing with our dog. We went on a 10-day trip and felt very comfortable leaving him with their family after meeting them just once. They accommodated a meet and greet with a quick turnaround, and also hosted him on a holiday weekend. Jess sent daily photos and videos, and we could see our dog was peaceful and happy. They were so great to work with and we will definitely use them again!”

“Our pup had a great time at his very first weekend “sleep away camp” while we were out of town. Can’t say enough about the great care and attention he gets at Nichole and Chris’! And he has so much fun walking and playing with their dog too. We are super happy to have found this Rover family!”

“Heather was amazing with our Ralph! She carefully listened to all of his needs and made sure that he was very comfortable. She was very understand and flexible with our drop off/pickup times (which was great, since we had flight delays, problems with traffic and other assorted delays...) Heather also made sure that he fit in well with her own pups and family! She sent lots of pictures and was very responsive whenever I checked in on how he was doing. Overall Heather was VERY professional and I would HIGHLY recommend her and her family :) Thanks Heather!”
About: I've worked at 2 different doggie daycares in the past where I learned a lot about dog behaviors, body language, and safe introductions. And I've had dogs of my own for the last 20+ years! I also currently foster rescue dogs when we can, which has given me hands on experience with diverse personalities, unique routines, and precise care. I have completed and passed the American Red Cross course: Cat and Dog First Aid. We do ask that dogs are crate trained, non destructive and house trained. Our home is a warm, welcoming hub for dogs of all kinds. With my kids at school during the day, I’m home full time to keep everyone happy, comfortable, and on schedule. Our morning begins with a potty break in our fenced in backyard and breakfast, followed by a walk, cozy nap spots, and constant companionship throughout the day. When the kids return in the afternoon, there’s even more affection and play to go around, making your dog feel like a member of our family. In our home, for boarding: We have a fenced in yard so dogs can safely roam, play, and potty. We live on a quiet neighborhood street so there is no loud, heavy traffic on our walks. We also have some trails that go through a wooded area to go on fun sniff walks. I can also administer medications and manage any kind of extra care your dog may require. I also will send photo updates for your peace of mind! In your home, for drop-in visits: I focus on maintaining your pet’s exact routine in the comfort of their own surroundings. From strict feeding and medication schedules to engaging play and daily walks, I will ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away.
“My dog stayed with their family for 10 days. That’s the longest I have left him with anyone. Each day they gave him the same loving care they give with own. I was given updates and pictures throughout the stay. I came home to a very well taken care of and happy dog.”

“Always an amazing experience with Mary & Jesse- this is the second time theyve watched our bulldog and he absolutely adores them. They send regular updates, follow care instructions to a tee, and he is always happy as a clam under their care. highly recommend :)”

“Mike is a wonderful dog sitter! He took great care of our pups and sent lots of pics, was quick to respond and made sure all of our instructions/wishes were met. Our pups were relaxed, healthy and happy when we got back from our trip. We will definitely rebook with Mike!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Twin Cedars home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Twin Cedars.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Twin Cedars sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
